Hi all!
Currently I'm running daleski's cm14. 1 (update 7nov) and whenever I say OK Google it is configuring my voice every time again. Is there a way to fix this?

I discovered the same problem when using Pixelfy or CM14.1 improver, however i dont use voice detection too often so i was never looking for the solution...

Are u pixelied? If so, it's a known bug with assistant

Thanks. Yes I am using pixelied. Hope it will be fixed soon.
Same problem. I just set long-press home button to Assistant, so it by-passes that
its google bug(i have it too)

I just flashed the xenonHD and Franco kernel, but i found that the voice search is not working
I tried to update it in play store, however there are no buttons for me to click for the update
how can I solve it? seems many people have the same problem about the voice search

when i press on the microphone logo on the top search bar, it just force close
as well as i press the mic logo inside google map, force clode also

Maybe its a ROM issue. I havent used Xenon before so I wouldnt know. Make sure you are using the right gapps file for that ROM as well. Using the wrong one is usually what causes force closes. For example, If the ROM is android 4.1 then DO NOT use 4.2 gapps.

Please dwell on this. Not sure what you're referring to.
If you referring to Hangouts Dialer, its working.
Using the Google Voice app. You get the "Call not sent" error.

I think the issue is that the Dialer/Telecom isn't giving the Google Voice process enough time to prepare the call routing or something. If you select "Ask every time" in the Google Voice app routing settings, and wait a couple seconds after the pop-up, it works.

The most important thing that your rom must have is NO problem with notifications like stok or 3rd party mail apps,viber,facebbok & messanger, instagram and when im saying NO problem i mean that you will test it with screen of (for about 30minutes without interaption to be sure the phone is sleeping in doze mode) and recieve a mail to see if the divice wakes up alove and see in lockscreen the notification.

Notifications seem to be a different case for everyone. For starters I don't believe it is caused by doze, but by Huaweis implementation since disabling doze does nothing or did nothing for me. Don't experience any notification issues on this one.

I think changing the device region to united states activates assistant.
All you have to do is install latest Google (Beta)
If you still have issues then install latest Google Play Services (Beta)

Does it need restart? I have installed both latest beta and changed language to English us... Still don't see the option

Well there are some options you could try like a restart or clear app data etc.

Where are you located? I updated to both betas... Changed search language to us and still not able to see the option... Restarted the mobile as well no luck... What is your device region?

One more related question... Does trusted voice as an unlock method work for you? I have to first wake the screen for Google to hear my voice otherwise it doesnt respond...anyrhjnf that I am missing
I don't have to wake up my screen. However unlocking with voice is hit and miss, big time!

i get this problem recently and its drivin me crazy.. i switched off battery optimization und wi-fi is set to stay alive all the time!
Is there anyone facing the same issue? Maybe it came with the new spotify update? Any workaround suggestions? I'm not rooted and on Nougat...
Would be super thankful for any advice!

I am in AOSIP rom. same problem
I change to deezer and it works fine. I think the problem is in spotify

Need help here. My WhatsApp textbox and send button partly cutoff / blocked. I can't see what's I'm typing in the box. It happen only when it's in pop-up view on my phone and all the time during Samsung Dex.
This happen a while after i updated to Android 5.1. No problem initially but it just appear this way now.

Have you had any luck with this? i am having the same issue, i tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it happens again, this is only on my samsung tablet though.
Same problem here. Only started using dex so dont really know if this is a long standing issue or new
