Apologies if I posted in the wrong group. I just read this and was wondering if there's a way we can enable? Any ideas anyone? Cheers!

I know I saw it posted here but I can't find out how to remove the "beta" text from the home screen. Can someone tell me how to do it? Thanks in advance.

That's the sort of post that'll get you flamed around here, unless this forum if different than the Hermes forums...
What posting a link to another forum?? Come on guys? I mean grow up.
Is there a turf war going on or something??
BTW, I would need to do that anyway to cite my sources.

Sorry, my bad.
I only post in the 'Dream Android Development' forums, but I'm sure that the problem of people posting new threads with questions that have already been asked and/or answered can be found all over the forums. I may have found a solution, or at least something that should help. They are mods from vbulletin.org. Two of them check for similar threads before a new thread is posted, while the third can help questions being posted in the wrong forum. Please consider using them.

As Flar has stated in the past, the problem with adding new plugins is that it becomes harder to upgrade the vb software without problems in one go. The plugins we have at the moment are causing enough issues at upgrade time.

It's OK , they are good ideas and I like the ajax Check for similar thread before posting a new one stuff.
I was just letting you know of some of the problems we have with plugins and why the admin team are reluctant to add plugins.

XDA used to have a little arrow pointing down on threads that I had posted in, and now I'm not getting them. It was helpful cause it let me know which threads I had participated in. Is there a way to enable this or is it gone for good? Thanks.

To try to understand, you posted in a thread, and the post got posted in a different thread?
The post numbers at the end of the web address you posted a link to in that thread, matches that thread its posted in.
But I see the last numbers are different in the link you posted here.
You are saying another thread is directing posts to that one? That's how it seems.
Am I close?
Let's see what @bitpushr sees. :good:
