Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 Device Memory Damaged - Device not resetting - Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, 10.1, 8.4 Q&A, Help & Trouble

My Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 doesn't do anything when I tap the "Reset Device" icon.
When I load it in Recovery Mode, it shows the "Andy" the Android guy with a red "warning sign" over it, and then my device restarts.
Any suggestions/solutions?
Can't upload pictures at the moment to show what I mean because I don't have enough posts =/

"Reset Device" icon?
if you think the device is corrupt boot to fastboot mode and flash the firmware again using odin or the samsung software.

It would say after the start up that the memory is damaged and there's an icon or button below it that says "Reset Device" and tapping that button does nothing.
I'm currently trying to flash a firmware (if I'm using the correct term), by going into fastboot mode. I found the firmwares on theandroidsoul.com and tried all 4 firmwares and got mmc_write fail on the tablet and fail on Odin.
I installed the Samsung drivers, restarted my laptop, everything. Still nothing.
What is the Samsung software that you mentioned and where can I find it?

sorry for late reply you can get the latest official firmware here
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-T320/
btw Cellular south is for USA models, otherwise download the correct region for your device.
Instructions
Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.11.1
Extract Odin ZIP file
Open Odin v3.11.1
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes

Yeah, I visited Sammobile but clicking on regular download doesn't do anything. Clicking on Fast Download takes it to their payment plans page.
I created an account and I still can't click on regular download.
EDIT: I just saw the notice that there's maintenance until the 28th, but premium downloads are still available. Looks like I'll have to wait until then.

Cannot boot t999

My t999 is running on root box custom ROM. I can tell this ROM is quite stable but after 3 weeks of using, I turned off the phone and now it won't boot up. I didn't flash or anything. It still vibrates if I try to turn on with the power button. Any idea what happen?
Is it plugged into a charger port? Unplug after letting it charge for 10 minutes, hold power until vibrate let go. If not that then might be the recently popular dying S III issue.
Update. it doesnt let me boot into safe or download mode.

Just use odin from there, read up and do the process. Make sure you have it on the charger while it's sitting. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1949687

This guide will get your phone back up and running properly
Follow the instructions below.
Easy and sure way fix your problem - Here is s step by step guide:
Download this pre-rooted Samsung Galaxy S3 T999 Jellybean v4.1.2 rom: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=22946563261203914
After downloading make a folder on your computer's desktop and unzip the
file using Winzip or 7zip so the .TAR file is in the new folder you just made.
Download and extract Odin into the same folder you made containing the TAR file
Here is the link for Odin: http://d-h.st/Q14
Download ODIN which is required for flashing the stock rooted firmware (a windows app)
Download the Odin Flash firmware for T999 Tmobile then copy it to the same folder as Odin
Run Odin by double clicking the Odin.exe within the same folder as the TAR file you extracted
Turn off your phone and boot into DOWNLOAD MODE (Volume Down + Home + Power Hold until phone powers up, then release and press Volume Up to enter Download Mode)
Once in Download Mode, connect the USB/Charger cable to the phone and plug into the USB port on your computer.
You should now see a COM** port listed toward the top-left of Odin (under ID:COM)
Click on the PDA button in the middle-right area of Odin.
Browse to and select the Firmware you downloaded (TAR file)
Make sure Auto-Reboot and F. Reset Time are the only options checked and that PDA is the only other thing checked.
TRIPLE CHECK your settings and that you have selected the correct firmware for your model phone and are using the correct options.
If you are using a laptop, make absolutely sure you are plugged in, or if on battery, that it is charged enough and will not go into sleep mode during flash.
Click Start to begin the flash. This will take a while, so be patient!
Once complete, in the top-left box in Odin, it will say PASS and the phone should have automatically rebooted.
You may unplug the phone and close Odin if you wish.
Wait at least 5-10 minutes for the system to boot the first time and then build its cache!
(It may seem to hang during boot, this is normal and you must be patient!!!)
Good Luck!

[Q] How to change stock firmware (Galaxy Tab 3 Kids)

Hi fellows,
A friend of mine just came back from US with a Galaxy Tab 3 Kids wondering if portuguese language will appear on the device when he lands on Rio. This surely didn´t happened.
He is pissed off with Best Buy guys that told him this bull****.
I´m trying to help him since his little boy doesn´t speak english.
Is it OK to pick the brazilian stock firmware (ZTO) that I´ve found here (http://samsung-updates.com/details/16066/Galaxy_Tab_3_Kids/SM-T2105/ZTO/T2105UBAMK1.html) and using ODIN to flash on a US device?
If someone could tell me the necessary steps, I´ll be very thankfull.
All best,
Sergio

The way is simple, you must flash the Firmware with Odin
( i have modified the instruction from gr8nole thread Recovery and root ) hit thanks by gr8nole http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433853
the way are the same
1. Download ODIN and USB drivers on your computer (just do a google search to find it...version 3.07 will work fine). http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2189539
2. Power off the device.
3. Restart in "Download Mode" by holding the "HOME" button, "Volume Down" and "Power" all at the same time (for about 5 seconds).
4. Hit the "Volume Up" to enter download mode.
5. Start the ODIN exe program.
6. Connect the device via USB to your computer. Verify the device shows as "Added" in the Message box. If it doesn't show then you need the Samsung USB drivers (just install KIES to get them).
7. Select "PDA" then choose the Firmware file you want to flash, but the file must be an *.tar or *.tar.md5.
8. Hit "START"
9. Wait for device to restart.
I hope these are helpful

download http://goo.gl/zEeQcr
I have SM-N750 with the same SOC and spec with your phone. It is using in Vietnam and rooted by the file: https://mega.co.nz/#!KccSnQwZ!C_kb6flVTrO5s0EyLNO_1Dx8m9XO-9_B3X_8-lMvVvs
It was rooted ok (use ODIN 3.0.7 or 3.0.9 and PDA button to choose the file). Unfortunatelly it has not any stable recovery up to now.
Note: If you connect to the laptop or PC first then start ODIN, ODIN must show the "added!" message. If not, trying to install Samsung mobile driver or/and Kies 2. Besides, download mode may be turn off and turn on again.

sm t113 stuck on odin mode downloading please do nnot turn off target

i was trying to root my sm t 113 by looking here

- Charge your tablet preferêcia to 100% (no, not know if your PC is fast or not).
2 - Download the file in the description (page 01.) And extract in some folder.
3 - Go to the Samsung website and download KIES. Install and then plug the tablet to see if it identifies all drivers.
4 - Turn off your tablet and enter the download mode (power + volume down button + menu).
5 - You will have a warning message to you incase one kkkkkk terror. Press Volume up and continue. Open the ODIN program.
6 - In the top tab is written with id, your device has to appear there
i did those. IT installed drivers. now what i see is

If you can get a stable connection, flash the TAR file from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sp...uide-links-files-update-root-restore-t3366862
My post has the latest TAR and instructions for flashing using Odin, including a link to a video.
Something must've happened when you turned off Developer mode or somehow got your OEM Unlock unchecked. One of the reasons that an FRP Lock happens is when OEM Unlock isn't checked whilst having a Custom Binary / Custom Software installed.
Turn off your device, press and hold Vol Down + Home Key + Power Button to get into Download mode, Press Vol Up to continue towards download mode.
Download Samsung drivers from Samsung support website, search SM-G920P, and look for v1.5.45.0 for mobile phone
Download Samsung Odin v3.10.7 or which ever preferred version of your choosing.
Download the QB1 Marshmallow TAR or the Nougat Tar from koop1955's post in the general's section thread
Load Samsung Odin in administrator mode, select AP and load the TAR file that you chose, attach your device to the PC and let it load ( COM:## within Samsung Odin )
Start process, should be a 5~10 minute tar install process. Once this process is done the Odin installer will say PASS! in green and your device should automatically reboot if you have auto reboot checked within Odin's Options tab.
