Aloha-
I have a Verizon Galaxy Nexus, running CM11 M9, on the PagePlus service. Everything was working fine until a few days ago where mobile data stopped working. Upon research, it appears my APN setting must change to the following.
APN: vzwinternet
MMSC: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 012
APN Type: internet+mms
However, the APN settings are not available. I tried flashing to another rom (Pure_Toro 4.9 Stock ASOP) and could not find the APN settings either. I am at a loss as to how to change the APN settings. i did attempt to us an app call Change APN. I converted it to a system app but could not make the changes...
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi guys!
I rooted my phone by flashing the xperia play firmware from the uk with a tutorial and everything is working PERFECT except for I'm stuck on EDGE (ew..)
Can someone who is a lot smarter than me help me out?
Plus 25 internet karma for anyone who helps
You need to add in the Rogers APNs.
you need
to manually add the apn data as well as messaging
Google Rogers apn and enter then in the fields in network settings
Sent from my R800i using XDA App
The APN settings are;
Name: Rogers
APN: rogers-core-appl1.apn
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: Not set
Passowrd: Not set
MMSC: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS Proxy: 10.128.1.69
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 720
Authentication type: Not set
APN type: Not set
This is not working for me. I did a reset and added this APN but still no Data.
My phone can make calls but no internet.
Then you're doing it wrong. Try it again. It works fine. Also, make sure you select the Rogers APN after you've input it. (Don't just input the data, save it and then not click on the APN.)
It is the only one I have.
I put exactly what is in the above post.
Edit: I deleted it and started over. This time I left out the Proxy IP and it worked.
Recently, as of today, I have not been able to send any MMS messages.
Restored multiple nandroids, checked IME and everything else I can think of. However, I have not been able to find a listed stock AT&T APN on this site.
Currently, this is what I am using:
APN: PTA
MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type: None
APN type: default,mms,supl
APR ptotocol: IPv4
Can someone with working MMS please paste their APN settings in here?
System Settings> More Settings> Mobile Networks > Access Point names> Select apn

Yeah. No idea how, but MMS now works. Didn't change a thing...
Add ",hipri" after supl.

It won't allow you to send or the receiver just gets a blank message? (That was my problem using CM10 stable and the following nightlies) I never did resolve the issue before going back to stock.

These are my apn settings
Still looking for help and ive searched some more with no info.
Your APN is almost entirely wrong.
name: ATT PTA
apn: pta
proxy: not set
port: not set
username: not set
password: not set
server: not set
mmsc: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
mms proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
mms port: 80
mcc: 310
mnc: 410
auth type: not set
apn type: default,supl,mms
apn protocol: IPv4
bearer: unspecified
Enter exactly as you see this. The lack of space after the commas in apn type are deliberate.
Hey guys I have a rooted m8 for T-mobile, lately sms messages have not been sending, my phone says that the text sent however the person will not ever receive the text. This happens with multiple ppl. It's not my sms app as I have tried multiple apps. I have tried re flashing Rom and wiping and trying new roms. So I'm thinking it could be my apn. I'm having no other issues, Internet is fine, calls are fine, just texts. I changed my settings to:
Name: T-mobile US LTE
APN: fast.t-mobile.com
Proxy: not set
Port: not set
Username: not set
Password: not set
Server: not set
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS proxy: not set
MMS port: not set
MCC: 310
MNC: 260
Authentication type: not set
APN type: default,supl,mms,hipri,dun
APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
APN enable/disable: APN enabled
Bearer: unspecified
MVNO type: none
MVNO value: not set
I'm going to try this out and see if this works. I looked up apn setting, however every link I clicked were different apn settings. There were tons of different variations, so idk which I should go with. Any help would be appreciated!
I have an LG G2 which I have rooted and GSM unlocked to work on Straight Talk. I'm running the stock ROM and the APN settings have been modified to allow for mobile data. However, whatever I do I simply can't seem to get MMS messages to send or receive.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

I also have GSM LG G2 running a custom ROM and with Straight Talk.
My recommendations are to double check the APN, make a call so they can give you the right one because in some web pages isn't wrong, also check the SMS app that you're using, in some apps you may need to configure the APN again.
My APN If you want to give it a try:
Name (Doesn't matter):
StraightTalk ATT
APN (The Data):
tfdata
Proxy:
Not Set
Port:
80
Username, Password and Server:
Not set
MMSC (The MMS/SMS double check this):
http://mms-tf.net
MMS Proxy (Also Important):
mms3.tracfone.com
MMS port:
80
MCC:
310
MNC:
410
Authentication type:
Not set
APN Type:
default,supl,mms
APN Protocol/roaming
IPv4
