Review: tpu case with flip lid.

Just purchased this from china along with a few other cases, this is probably the first tpu case with a flip lid similar to those leather one's, this case has a slightly grainly rubbery finished.

Not bad, looks tough/protective. Although I dislike rubbery covers, since I use my phone in my pocket. It makes them harder to get out and pick up link.

It has a soft grainy finish, so sliding it in and out of my jeans pocket without any problem.

Love the button cut outs...but case looks a bit too thick for my personal for my liking. Thanks for sharing though.

the actual case doesn't feel that thick.

Like if I were to put it in a bag or something, there really isn't anything to keep it closed is there? It doesn't snap shut or anything right?

SGP Neo Hybrid Buttons Problems

Is the sensitivity problem of an S3 with a SGP Neo Hybrid case installed already fixed now?

Real talk, no its not. just received it on thursday, buttons are too sensitive. bought directly from sgp.

I have the revised version of the case or so they said. Volume button is just perfect but power button doesn't feel sensitive enough. On the other hand... it relly doesn't turn off by accident.

Thanks. I despise SGP for really not addressing this issue.

Same here, got them on Thursday, bought from sgp and the problem is still there, really a shame that you pay this price for cases...

I also purchased one. Has anyone tried contacting them, regards to sending another case?

I did a 'manual override'. Shaved the center to reduce sensitivity and the edges to reduce stiffness.

I was just about to buy one because I love spigen's products, but I might look elsewhere now after know this. thanks guys.

Their bumpers utilise a separate button mechanism and don't have this problem. Look at them if you like the Spigen styling.

Oh ok. It seems that the neo hybrid will offer more protection than the bumper, that's a deal breaker for me

I got mine on Thursday. And yes the power button is a issue. All I did was take very sharpe razor cut a tiny bit off the power button inside. And it works for me. Keep in mind I didn't cut much off. The volume buttons are great.

Yes it is. Not as sensitive but if you cut to much it will be harder to push. That is why I only cut a tiny bit off.

It is indeed a very simple fix. Objectively speaking, if you like the look, buy it. It is infinitely better than getting wind up over a 30 second job.

[Q] How to protect phone from cracking screen? Whats best

What is best way to protect my S4 from cracking screen. I am scared to crack screen on it.
Any case ? or any screen protractor like zagg invisibleshield will work ?
Or any slim case or screen proctor combo ?
Only reason i gave up on s3 was crack screen.
My screen cracked even without dropping phone on s3 and replacement phone cracked too by dropping just from my pocket. so I moved to iPhone, but I love android.

No but really all you need is a case with a bumper that extends so the glass can't be the first thing to hit the hard surface. I've become a fan of cases that combine TPU and a hard barrier.

Just get a cheap tpu case. They've saved everyone of my phones from cracked screens.

this plus a case,(personally I went with an otterbox) and you will never have a problem.

Get a tempered glass protector (I got mine from Spigen), and then a case. That will protect your screen.

I use an xoskins http://xoskins.com and a case. It doesn't have orange peel like other skins and won't get scratched with sand or lint. Cases I prefer otterbox

i always see those TPU "S" cases that's partly frosted, and partly fully-transparent. Anyone know of one that's 100% transparent? I'm currently using a transparent hard-case (kayscase)...but i noticed i've got a couple of scratches around the edges where it's not covered.
anyone know of tpu cases (that wraps around the entire device) that's fully transparent?

The back side is slightly frosted, but it looks clear when it's on the phone since the frosting is essentially the same color as the phone anyway. Really not noticeable, and a very nice case - great fit and the buttons are easy to press, gives good protection without adding too much bulk. Thinking of ordering one for myself.

It is 100% transparent and looks great! THe only problem I'm having is my OCD making sure that there is no hair or dust between the phone and case. It's that transparent! Highly recommended.

i ordered one of these to try as i am not fully liking my partially-frosted one. i don't normally like cases at all but when you drop almost $600 on a phone it makes you a little paranoid.

it looks like its a hard plastic (crystal) case , all i want is a 100% transparent TPU case , why its so hard to find that
would highly appreciate if u can confirm this as a TPU , and non plastic case.

It is and its is excellent. Only gripe I have the volume rocker cover..although nice...sometimes lifts up my screen protector.
If I make sure the protector is tucked in, then it's great.

S-View cover cases?

Hello!
Long story short, I had an ultra thin matte case on my phone, but it literally just shattered on me when I dropped my phone. Got away with a few nicks...
So now, I'd like to invest in a flip case as them seem to provide better protection for the face. I know our phones aren't equip with OLED screens, but with apps floating around that mimic S-view notifications, I thought I'd try to find one with a cut out. I've found these:
Rock window case - Seems to tick all the boxes, but I'm not too keen on the latch thing
KLD KA case - Looks perfect, but it's for the max.
"Thin flip case" - Kinda just like this with a cut out would be great.
Have I missed any? Or any recommendations for cases in general would be great thanks.
