The back side is slightly frosted, but it looks clear when it's on the phone since the frosting is essentially the same color as the phone anyway. Really not noticeable, and a very nice case - great fit and the buttons are easy to press, gives good protection without adding too much bulk. Thinking of ordering one for myself.

i ordered one of these to try as i am not fully liking my partially-frosted one. i don't normally like cases at all but when you drop almost $600 on a phone it makes you a little paranoid.

It is and its is excellent. Only gripe I have the volume rocker cover..although nice...sometimes lifts up my screen protector.
If I make sure the protector is tucked in, then it's great.

I got the black glossy Cruzer case from Amazon and it fits snug and tight...better than my Incipio case I purchased from the Verizon store. The case is nice and durable. The power button and 3 prongs are open and the volume keys are closed with a nice rough texture. The volume keys are very easy to use since they are sealed. I recommend this case to GSM Galaxy Nexus owners and the price is not bad at all.
I gave it a 5 star review on Amazon.

The fit and finish is great. It is not loose around the face or around the seams. Im telling you, this fits nice and tight all around the phone.

I got black. I didn't care too much about the color though. I only use the case when I am in route from one location to another. When I'm at home or at the office I take the case off.
Anyone going to pull the trigger on the SGP Modello Case? Appears as it was just released and at a pretty good price ($14.99).
Edges of the phone do not appear to be complete covered in their press shot pictures, but it looks thin and of high quality--used the ultra capsule on the i9100.

From my experience with tpu cases and screen protectors, the edge of the case pin the sides arent a tight fit so it tends to rub on the screen projector

On my sony x10i the edge of he case fell over the screen protector holding it in place. On my s3 this is not the case. ( Wordjoke :') )

Definitely agree... i just got my frost gray and it feels extremely slippery in the hand. I may also return it.

this plus a case,(personally I went with an otterbox) and you will never have a problem.
Get a tempered glass protector (I got mine from Spigen), and then a case. That will protect your screen.
I use an xoskins http://xoskins.com and a case. It doesn't have orange peel like other skins and won't get scratched with sand or lint. Cases I prefer otterbox

Try the otterbox commuter case with mime ghost glass. I love the combo, not very bulky and superior protection :good:
Does the defender (since we are talking about bulky cases) have the same issue with the silicon coming loose over time like on the sgs3

I have uploaded the pics and the last one picture shows it is red in color it is not pink. It is just because of the camera of Canvas 4 that the case looks somewhat pinkish.

I have this bumper case and and capdase silicon case. I also bought a back side skin from printvenue, actually I made it as I don't the feel of the back side and it gets dirty very easily.
I am uploading the picture which I used to create the skin. I don't have the skin right now as it is not shipped yet lets see when they will ship it to me.

I have a similar one. Looks great, but affects GPS and navi. And affects phone signal a bit. If it wasn't for the GPS issue I could have dealt with the loss of a bar or two.

I have a similar one. Looks great, but affects GPS and navi. And affects phone signal a bit. If it wasn't for the GPS issue I could have dealt with the loss of a bar or two.

Yes I am experiencing signal drops too I don't know why it is happening as few days past I opened the battery back cover of my phone I saw that the antennas are on the battery back cover not at sides.
I am about to buy a wood skin for my phone, you ever used skin on your phone as I am unable to decide dark wood or light coloured wood is best for black N5??
Both are nice depending on which you use. Dbrand is my first choice and for color, I'd opt for the darker one

No case is worth losing signal strength. Plus, there's no back protection.

Normally I would agree, but it looks great lol. Show vs go for me. I have since given up on any aluminum case like this and reverted back to my spigen cases.

Yeah, it looks good, but there are spigen and caseology cases that have a clear back that look great with a carbon fiber skin. And the signal isn't degraded with plastic.
Are there any rubber/plastic bumpers for this phone (don't want to hurt signal)? I never found any. The Google bumpers are just regular cases..

Just ordered the orange one. See what you made me do after I searched for it? I have a white carbon fiber skin on my N5, and any color goes well with it.

Dbrand and slickwraps are not available in my country anywhere and buying from there official sites is not possible for me so I bought a dark tamo wood skin from gadgetshieldz India. Thanks for advice as the Tamo wood is dark in color. Lets see whats gadgetshieldz is offering with there new brand.

But plastic bumper cases does not look as good as aluminium one. They look just okay instead of buying a plastic bumper case go for a spigen ultra fit case or skin.
