Expand Volume menu - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Hi,
currently using GravityBox to expand the audio drop down (which pops up when you press the volume keys) to ungroup ringtone and notification tone.
Since GB has so many features that don't work on the OnePlus 3 (which clutter Xposed log) I'd like to find out if there's an alternative to this...
Is there any other app/Xposed mod that'll ungroup these?

Expandable audio control

Hi guys,
I really liked a feature on ICS that it is possible to regulate your ringer volume by pressing vol+ button once and then setting it by sliding finger on popup menu. How happy was I when I saw a feature on cm9 to make this menu expandable and manipulate trough all volumes (Ringer, notifications, media etc.). Now, due to stability im back on cm7 and heres my question. Is it possible to flash an addon which make me possible to have an ics style volume popup menu?
Sorry for my bad english. Szotaa

there is no such feature
ok sorry I missunderstood you. The feature that I am using is, that if I press the volumebutton, the whole menu pops up, so I can easily adjust the ringer and notification volume

[Q] Space to Mute in custom launcher.

Hi ive tested many custom launchers from google store and noticed that all of them dont support muting the phone with space key (hold space to mute function)
If you hold space key , Instead of muting the launcher will select some app on mainscreen.
Does anyone know some workaround for space button to function properly? or maybe launcher that support this function.
Thanks

Sound Profile Change from Notification Pull Down - ?

I do not see the ability to change my sound profile: sound , vibrate, silent -by pulling down on the notification bar shortcuts...
Is that a possibility in Nougat ? If so, how.
I have an old widget called "Silent Mode Widget" that I can place on my home screen, but have somewhat gotten accustomed to just pulling down from the top of the screen to make the change... Thanks in advance for any tips on this one.
Just found this. swipe down to open quick settings shade, pull down again to access more quick settings, and then you'll see "do not disturb", that has the sound silence settings in it. If you hit edit you can move it up to the top row if you want.
I see that, but that is not what I am referring to. - That is for a period of time for "Do Not Disturb" - It is not the volume toggle button where you have three options for "Sound, Vibrate, or Silent" which is what I'm looking for...
I was looking for the same thing and found a free app that adds the toggle - works great:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.quicktiles&rdid=com.cgollner.quicktiles
If you want some more toggle options, there are other apps as well.
Volume Slider LIKE 'Brightness' Slider would be perfect!
I wish there was an app/tweak that would allow one to install a volume slider like the brightness slider in quick settings that did not require all sorts of other development tools and a desk/laptop! That would be perfect. And again, like others are saying it should have come with the OS.
The real question is, how do we edit the more in depth sounds? Like with my s7 edge I could control the volume of system sounds, ringer, media, and notifications. How would we do that on pixel I can't find any setting that lets me do it.

I use Volume Butler from the Playstore it works great! It also separates the ring volume and the notification volume. Very easy setup.

Pixel 2 Pulldown Menu

I just switched to the Pixel 2 XL from Samsung and the pulldown menu is lacking a ton of settings. There isn't even the little speaker icon that switches from sound to vibrate to silent. Is that just the way stock Android is? Did Samsung add all those convenient menu features? Anyway to add more?
Pull the menu down twice, there is a little pencil icon at the bottom, between the date and the settings icon. You can add, remove, rearrange. If you want something that's not available you can usually get it with an app...if nothing else, you can create them with Tasker to do pretty much anything.
Thanks. Now to get used to this screen! (or not)
For the whole vibrate or silent thing... There's a volume rocker on the side of the phone...
