Hi ,
my Canvas4 is kind of soft brick last week . initially it started reporting com.google or com.play etc error , after some time it goes down and do not show any charging or boot screen.
i tried stock ROM and couple of custom ROM but after boot it keep on reporting same com. error.
I have tried
1) ROM installation with SP tool with download and flash update with stock and custom ROM
2) ROM installation via CWM
3) Tried cleaning cache before and after ROM installation
but either it hung at boot or after startup it reporting com.XXX error. If i keep it off it failed to start after some time ( blank screen)
Is there is way to do full clean installation or there is some other issue with Phone.

Never thought I'd be the one to create a thread like this..
After I flashed the OKV4 ROM, strange things started to happen (this was after a full wipe). Apps kept force closing, etc. Later that day, when I picked up my phone, I saw the samsung logo flashing over and over. Making me unable to enter recovery.
Download mode still worked though and I proceeded to flash a stock firmware via ODIN. This did not help. Oh, and the Odin flash succeeded, without rebooting my phone though...
So, I'm still stuck with my phone which can't seem to get out of this strange loop.
HELP :C
I remember reading somewhere here that if you have flashed a diff FW now and then a possibility the last recent kernel is still in the system folder etc....this is maybe the cause of the bootloop.
Since you had confirmed going to download mode is possible..this may work logically... Why not do the following :
Get your phone rooted via Recovery (there is a thread here by The-E)..Once done flash arco68's CWM Recovery....Boot to recovery n do this :
Factory Format....Wipe n Clear including Delvik...Then go to Mount n Storage wipe every single folder...System...Data...Etc (this will wipe every single data left behind but I assure you the CWM will not be wiped) once done reboot n put the device into DL mode and use Odin to flash back to the stock FW.
From this moment the recovery will be replaced by stock version and the stock FW will be restored....once it boot up..Walla as I had done this over two times :
Best of Luck !!

I think you misunderstood me :/
This isn't the ordinary bootloop where the boot animation plays. It resets literally 2 seconds after starting. This makes me unable to enter the recovery at all. Thanks for the effort tho.
Tl;dr:I can not enter recovery mode.

Hello people,
(please forgive my english)
My problem is concerning to flashing my LG nitro,
firstable i installed the android ics may leak and then i tried to use cwm to install cm9 or cm10 due to my phone with this rom is rebooting 2 times a day at least.
I have tried with Machzelet guide but there some files missing for doing that procedure..
I have tried to use cwm but when i tried to reboot on recovery mod and this got stuck on secure verification in a black screen. also i tried kloz guied but i get an error on this too.
There is any way to get my phone on default mode or install CM9 or 10 ont this phone.
My location is in Panama and i dont know if this cause this issue.
go to CWM recovery and wipe everything with factory reset and reflash the rom. That should help.
Good Luck
Yikes! I have SGS3 Sgh-T999 model, rooted with TWRP and clockwork mod. Running a JB Liquid Smooth ROM at 4.2.2. I was updating to get the 4.4.2 OS. I backed everything up thoroughly then proceeded to enter TWRP recovery mode. I factory reset (succeeded), wiped cache (succeeded)m wiped Dalvik (succeeded). I then flashed the exact ROM and gapps for my device (cm-11-20140105-NIGHTLY-d2tmo.zip and gapps-kk-20131119.zip) with both attempts failing. I tried to reboot and a message came up saying TWRP needed to repair my super user permissions or soething like that. I opted 'yes" and thus began the endless loop that goes like this: vibrate-SGS3 splash screen with the white letters-TWRP splash screen-black screen-2 vibrates-SGS3 splash and so on.
I cannot enter recovery mode. I can get into download mode only if I am hooked up to the computer with Odin open and phone off. Then I can step into download mode. I cannot however get anything helpful to occur after that. I have tried flashing the stock ROM file using Odin. That is all I know to do at this point. Odin does not give any indication it is flashing in the colored boxes on top (green, pass/fail, etc...). When trying to flash it checks MD5 successfully then gives a "Leave CS" message followed by a "All Threads Completed (succeed 0/failed 0)" message
I am totally stuck. I think my original mistake was not updating TWRP and Clockwork to the freshest version prior to flashing. My second was trying to flash gapps after ROM failed. Then rebooting after both failed. I need help desperately as I am heavy looking for a job and that is my connection to the world.
Does anyone have any sage advice or tutorials on how to get things running again? Thanks in advance for your help!
i have n7100 . running stock deodexed nd3 4.4.2
running twrp 2.7.2
but had the prob since 2.7.0
the problem is when i try to restart from my rom to recovery sometimes like 50 % of the time i have one of 2 bugs either a
firmware upgrade error bla bla bla ..
or strange download mode screen with no info on the top left side (which doesn't work with odin ..i have tried )
restarting the phone from the first case always fix it and everything is back to normal
the second one is tricky sometimes just a simple reboot fix it and sometimes i need to enter normal download mode and install the recovery again which then the phone boot's to it and from then to system
any ideas what's the cause of this ??
and had this problem over a variety of roms and twrp and philz recoveries but i mainly use twrp

Hello,
I'm facing a bit of a weird situation with my K20 Pro. I just went to update it after a long time ( unlocked bootloader, TWRP and custom rom Revolution X). At the moment of installing, it was usually going to TWRP and rebooting and all good, this time, no. Just black screen. And since then, it's stuck in bootloop, and whenever i try to access recovery mode it just crashes. I tried to reinstall twrp trough fastboot but the same is hapenning.
I tried to flash the OEM OS too trough miflash but after 0s is says '' success '' but as you could guess it : nothing.
I already had others soft bricks on other phones but nothing like this, if anyone has a guess ?
Update : Could access TWRP for the first time after trying again to flash the official rom
+ now says that no OS is installed (
