Hi lineu, Thank you so much. I'm trying the 2nd method which you advised as dont have access to bootloader itself.
during this step, when using xFSTK Downloader 1.7.0, in download status i can see
"Details: BATI:42415449: Batter voltage: 0x45(1294.760000V) The threshold: 0xbf(3.585000V)" and progress bar shows only 8% for a longer time. am i missing something.
My phone is in dead state, i cannot even see charging icon in the screen. Appreciate your help on this. Please help. Attaching the screenshot for your reference.

I think that error is because the battery go to 0%, any chance to extract it and charge manually? With that process u recover the bootloader and later u can use the Asus flash ttools
Or try again the procedure (u can see if the windows device manager recognize the morefield driver when u connect the phone)

how to charge battery manually? as when i connect to the charger it is not getting charge.

[Q] Samsung Wave 2 semibrick ?

Hi,
Since I tried to flash my Wave 2 (I didn't suceed, because the phone turned off before the end), my phone won't boot. Nothing displays when I just try to boot it, and when I plug it to computer, it displays a warning sign between a phone and a computer (I joined a pic of it), but the phone reboot approx every 20 sec displaying again this sign.
When it's pluged to computer and I press vol down, lock and deny call buttons, download mode appear for a few (1 or 2) sec then it reboot displaying the sign...
What could I do ? I think it might be a battery problem but it don't seems to load in this mode.

Battery damaged or empty...
Check battery.
Hint. In Download Mode you can NOT charge battery...
So check in other device or use other battery...
Good luck.
Best Regards

Try doing this.. Hold Volume Up and Power button until u get 3 vibrations after the 1st vibration.. Then put it to charge.. And if u r seeing a charging animation, let it charge fully.. And then try rebooting.. If it doesn't turn on, just flash stock ftf.. Hold volume down and connect the cable.. Don't let go of the volume down button until flashing starts..

Skip the reinsert battery part in your item #1:
1) Remove battery
2) Hold Volume plus and minus keys down
3) Insert USB cable while still continuing to hold down those two buttons.
WIthin 1-2 seconds you should have download mode. When download mode appears, then re-insert battery. For sure you're not going into charging mode with no battery to charge. This is the method I always use, and it always works (aside from hard-brick situations, but you can access battery charging mode/graphics, which surely means that ain't you).
not works.

What does your computer say when you plug it in? If in Windows check Device Manager and see what your phone is being recognized as. Can you access the phone's contents via USB cable from your computer? Does ADB recognize it at all? Or does it just loop like that, not starting?
Also, it sometimes takes several tries to get it into download mode, as if you're holding the buttons down and not timed just right, the phone ignore your attempt. Make sure you do not let go of both volume buttons even after you plug in the USB cable, you must continue to hold them down for a couple of seconds (until the DL mode appears). Don't even think about putting the battery back in until you see that download mode box. Try that a few times maybe? If it doesn';t work ,maybe you're boned.

I think you have to leave it charging for a while before you are able to turn it on again. Just give it some time

Try another charger/usb cable, just in case the one you're using is defective, or charge the phone connected to a computer

Hi,
I have/had the same problem. The problems started, with the phone powering down, at half the battery level. Then I got a spanish battery overheating message. After the message appears, the problem starts.
I solved the problem like this :
First you have to completely drain your battery. How to do that ?
- Go to the boot-menu (press power on button, and volume up at the same time). Select : Fastboot. The phone will halt. BUT, keep your phone in that state, so it consumes energy. After a while your phone will go out. After that : go again to your boot menu, but DON'T select any options. After a period of ± 5 minutes your phone will go out.
- THEN : remove your SD-Card, and SIM-Card.
- THEN : Connect your phone with the net-usb-charger. DON'T connect it to your PC.
- After 1 to 2 hours of chargeing, your down center button, should start glowing blue again.
I got my phone working again 2 times using this method.
I hope it works for you.
Phone Restored with this method! Thanks pal!
worked for my phone
thank you very much

If you've tried everything, including qfil, all that's left is technical assistance. Because if you change the battery but it's really memory, the damage is doubled.
