Is it possible to allocate the fingerprintscanner to a certain app so I can only open it with my fingerprint after I unlocked my phone?
I want it to work the same way unlocking my phone does, like having multiple fingerprints
Is there a mod or module that can do this?
Community build 3.5.4 has this built in now which is called app lock where you can use your finger print or unlock code, pattern to lock applications to stop others from getting into them.
you can also do this with the xposed module MaxLock
Yes you can
APP LOCK FINGERPRINT PASSWORD
Third party app

I was given Widgetlocker by a friend (He gave me a 10$ Google Play Gift Card) yesterday. I noticed that Widgetlocker doesnt have a Pattern or Pin Lock option on it, and I get my stock lockscreen on my Galaxy S3 immediately afterwards, which seems incredibly redundant.
Don't get me wrong, the application is great, and I haven't had any issues aside from this so far.
Is there any way to force Widgetlocker to use a pattern or pin lock? Or alternatively is there a way to add a camera shortcut on the stock touchwiz lockscreen?
You probably have to disable the stock lock screen for it to not show up after, or maybe a setting on widget locker, and I think the only way to get a camera shortcut is to use ripple on stock lockscreen

Well that bites. I suppose I will live without it, Its not like it takes me more than 1-5 seconds to draw my pattern/pin anyway.
Its really like that for a reason.
If you can access the camera w/o using your pin/pw/pattern, it makes using the security features pointless.
From camera you can open gallery/messaging and from there you can get to your contacts and dialer. So if someone stole or found your phone they'd have unsecured, easy access to most of your stuff.

I use lightning launcher ultimate (which has lock screen) and after clicking an app, it displays the stock pattern screen, then takes you to your shortcut, thereby security is still useful, choppy!

Actually WidgetLocker works this way too.
Enable pin/pattern on phone and ensure the option in Widget Locker to disable the stock screen is not checked.
Completely remove the swipe to unlock button and don't replace it. You'll have a blank WidgerLocker lock screen with a clock.
Long press and add apps and widgets. Change security to lock screen immediately. Power power button. Click a widget on homescreen. You'll be prompted to enter the pin/pattern! You have access to all your apps on the locker screen, with pin/pattern security simply by disabling the slide to unlock button. You're welcome (albeit months and months late.)

I realize this thread is old but I feel compelled to contribute my .02 for the benefit of those like me who's search for help on this topic leads them here.
It seems to me the OP is simply pointing out the fact that Widgetlocker doesn't offer a PIN or pattern unlock feature like those found in most other lock screen replacement apps. IMHO this a CATASTROPHIC omission by the devs of what I believe is an otherwise-outstanding app! I mean it -- I LOVE this app! The fact that something so simple and avoidable is keeping me from being able to use it pains me gravely. To be clear, yes, it appears WL can be set to give deference to system PIN/pattern security as mentioned in another post but someone please explain to me how doing this doesn't defeat the point of installing the app in the first place!
I agree that there are potential security concerns in having lock screen shortcuts bypassing the pin/pattern lock; I however disagree that such a thing necessarily "makes using security features pointless." Let's be frank. Some of us have much bigger security concerns than worrying about who might be snooping through our pictures or contact lists, but even in the event that such things are the aggregate of one's sensitive "stuff" there are ways to achieve essential functionality without turning over the keys to one's deepest, darkest secrets. One could, for example, simply download a basic camera app without a gallery link, or a standalone dialer app with a null (or decoy) contact list. With a bit of hackery one needn't even give up the comfort or utility of full-feature apps in this regard. Failing this, there are still plenty of other apps one might want quick and unfettered access to which do NOT pose an inherent security risk (i.e. music player, flashlight, weather, stopwatch/timer, calculator, universal remote, fruit ninja, etc.). What's the point of having shortcuts/widgets on the lock screen if you have to unlock your device to access them? Why not just use the shortcuts/widgets on the home screen if you're going to go to the trouble to make an effort commensurate to that end anyhow?
Guys do you know any finger print app lock for p8000??

1. App Locker - I'm using this app, the best. I strongly recommend you this app.
App Locker is the first app that you can try on your device. It’s a very basic app with a simple interface.
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.martianmode.applock&hl=en
apk: http://choilieng.com/apk-on-pc/com.martianmode.applock.apk
2. FingerSecurity
The second app that you can try is FingerSecurity and the initial setup is similar to App Locker. You will have to check is the app is compatible with the device and grant it Accessibility Access which is mandatory for such apps to function. Having done that, you are free to load the app lock list and enable toggle switch to lock the particular app.
No ads - that sounds good

3. CM App Lock - Fingerprint Unlock
CM App Lock Fingerprint Unlock is the third and the most feature rich fingerprint app locker that you can install on your Android, the app has good ratings and works good, so there is no harm in trying it out. CM App Lock Fingerprint initial configuration is very similar and just like any other app, you will have to lock the apps from a list. The option to lock Bluetooth and Wi-Fi state is also an added feature.
The features that are worth mentioning about the app is that you can download several lock screen themes for free and give your lock screen a new color every day. Apart from that, you get the option to reset the password using the Google account you have on the Android. The app also gives you the option to snap a picture from the front camera if it detects multiple failed attempts to unlock the app (Intruder selfie) .I installed CM cleaner and this feature included but i rarely use this app. Anw, another good app to try :good:

Have fun.
Is it possible to lock screen with some application, and then unlock with imprint (finger print) feature?
Or only not working with me ?
Thanks
there's a lot of apps out there that can do that. even launchers like nova and some xposed modules. depends on what you want.
Just found out that with this app, it works.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iglint.android.screenlockpro
Only need to wait about 6~7 seconds to unlock using imprint.
Take a look at this conversation http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3231177
can anyone suggest any good app which has face unlock as well as finger print unlock, i've seen many apps with fingerprint unlock and many apps with face unlock, i want both put together will be good. for instance, system level lockscreen password can be unlocked by fingerprint as well as face by smart unlock option. is there any option like that for applock?
Thanks in advance.

I have tried a few including the cheetah mobile app but found fingersecurity to be the fastest and the most reliable.
But i don't really understand the need for dual locking as your fingerprint is unique and the only way someone can break into the app is if you allow them to set up their fingerprint in security settings. Or they will have to go thru a rather complicated process of copying ur fingerprint, which i don't think someone will bother unless u r Angelina jolie or scarlett johanson

i don't want dual locking system. i would like to unlock my phone by fingerprint when lights off and i want my phone to unlock itself when it recognises my face in the day light. this feature will let me just open the app and just look to unlock and no need to put in any password or even keep my finger print. I'm doing the same for my normal lock, in day light if i press lock/unlock key it automatically unlocks. but it is useless since i would press the fingerprint key to unlock. but for apps it would be nice if i open any app and it automatically unlocks for me alone.

I'm already using lockdown pro and this app allows me to unlock with fingerprint, but it lacks face recognition. which would be more interesting.

Finger security
I use the Lock application to lock the screen, I was noted that:
The app is currently not suitable for use with "Fingerprint Unlock".
This is true when I experiment on the Pixel Experience, but not on the MIUI, I can unlock with a fingerprint lock after locking with this app.
I would like to ask if there is a module that can help me do this on the Pixel Experience?
My English is not good, thank you.
