System UI Theme Colors - Google Pixel XL Questions & Answers

Can someone extract the new theme colors from the System UI? I'd like to know what the values are and where they are stored for theming purposes.

decompile the theme and replace the png files with your own.

Looking for a theme that keeps the same size FONTS.

I really would like to add a theme to my EPIC, but at the same time I would like to keep the same size FONTS that I currently have. I tried the Midnight Blue theme and LOVED it, except everything was smaller. Any thoughts? THANKS!
Simply delete the fonts folder before you flash the theme

[Q] Theme-ing

Once I flash a theme am I obligated to the background that comes with it?
Background in theming is very broad. If you're referring to the background as in the ICS gradient within apps (such as Settings.apk)? If so, then it's a simple .png inside the drawable-xhdpi within I believe framework-res.apk. I could be wrong as I haven't touched anything inside the framework-res in awhile, but that's where I found it when I themed on ICS based devices.
IF you're talking about the desktop wallpaper, it'll only replace the default one in the ROM you flash over it. If you've already selected a custom one, it will not overwrite your desktop wallpaper.

Holo dark

I like the holo dark ui more than material.
Is it possible to change the framework and or system apps (in Lineageos17.1) to activate holo dark?

Click to collapse
You can do anything you want, when building lineageOS yourself from sources.
