I want to know that it's a bug or happening to me only or its a system/ default function.
The thing is that my equalizer bass boost gets reset, But everything remains same like mode , surrounding sound level... When ever i clear everything by brom or restart my device. I m running oxy 3.2.7

im owning an HD7 and have some weird sound problems!
In some games you can change the loudness ingame, but no matter what i set it doesn't change. Only by setting the loudness to the lowest possible setting it works by playing no sound at all.
Currently im working on a simple game for WP7 and recently worked on the soundeffects. Using "sound.Play(float volume,...)" i could set the volume to a range from 0 to 1. But there happened the same strange thing: a value of 0.0 results correctly in mute, but EVERY other value (e.g. 0.01, 0.5, 1.0) results in the sound played at full volume.
The system sounds are working correctly and the loudness depends on the system-volume only the gamesounds dont...
Anyone else has this bug? is there anything i can do? i already reseted the device and even flashed the rom but nothing helped
My audio seems to be really weird recently, wondering if anyone has any ideas how to fix it?
The main issue is volume is really really low on PowerAmp but not on other music apps, I've tried changing some of the volumes in the Factory Settings but still not managed to sort it. It just seemed to happen randomly without me changing anything. I also checked the "Loud" switch is on from the EQ which it is but I suppose that wouldnt really make a difference if other music apps are at a higher volume.
The other thing that is happening is Soundcloud is randomly playing music and I couldnt figure out why, anyone came across this before? Its not in the startup apps, Ive made sure its closed before I restart to make sure it isn't just opening the last apps and also checked the settings in the app itself and there doesnt seem to be anything obvious in there.

You can adjust Power Amp volume in it's own equaliser settings.

On the left side in the PowerAmp Equalizer is a preamp slider. Maybe it helps
Thanks guys stupid me yeh I had to go to the equalizer settings in PowerAmp then the "Tone/Vol" tab (the Preamp was already high) then adjust some stuff in there. Weird how it somehow turned down cause I've never been in they settings before but its sorted now anyway
and I also flashed arise 2.9.4
still same, the sound would go normal in 1-2 second, then goes very small, hardly heard,

i have the same sound issue, it seems that no one experience the problem or maybe they have no idea what i'm talking about. The sound notification sounds louder than MM, but media volume goes from 100% to about 50% (or less) approx.
I've tried some mods in mixer_paths.xml but no changes, same results replacing MM mixer paths in Nougat system.
Just a nougat bug maybe...
Perform a hard reset and also do a wipe cache partition.

Turn down whatever is causing the clipping or distortion. Could be gains or eq levels too high, or bass level above the recommended. Could be you have multiple things leveled up to high, like eq gain, subwoofer option on and maxed, and or many things. I'd clear cache & data, that will reset to fresh start then slowly increase things until you reach optimal sound.

Second if anyone have that problem:
For me distortion was caused by our DTS.
If you can disable DTS by comment library eagle
and effect eagle_pipeline in audio_effects.xml or through system props
ro.product.lge.globaleffect.dts=false
ro.le.globaleffect.dts=false
Then you will amplify your audio with any equalizer.
If you have magisk and module, and i assume that you have then create file called system.prop paste these two props, save, set permission of the file to 0644 or rw-r--r-- and reboot.
You will lose DTS:X, equalizer (system), but possibility to adjust audio without distortion and quad dac is still working.
I returned to stock in Moto G5s and since then the audio is in trouble, I start to hear something (both notification or media) and nothing to run the audio, I restart the cell phone and back to normal and after a time the sound stops again, can someone tell me if this bug has to do with the flash I gave in stock or it could be problem in the same speaker?
