Hi,
I have a couple of questions about the stock dialler on OP3 running 3.5.4 CB.
1. When using 2 SIMs, Can we select the default SIM for a out going call for contacts at one go ?
Currently when I select the number for a call, a pop up (Call with ) shows up with option to select one of the two SIMs and a check box to "Always use this for calls" lets me do that. I would like to know if this can be done somewhere else, say at the contact detail level? how would i change the option once set using the current method?
2. In the Dialler, what does All calling accounts setting do? clicking on it shows a blank screen. Is it related to SIP accounts?
Dialler -> Settings -> Call settings ->All calling accounts.
Cheers.

That is for all outgoing calls. I am looking at setting default SIM1 for some contacts and SIM2 for others.

You need an app to do that.
I use "Dual SIM Selector" and it works pretty well.

There's always the option of calling your service provider for it and then save it in your phone.
Thanks
Thanks Gmaniac. I know my voicemail number...I just can't find where this setting is on the setting or on the rom or in the phone book, etc.

Isn't that on your sim card stored...what carrier do you have?. In my country bruv...that # comes prestored in your sim card...
I dont know where it is stored, but to change it do the following:
1) Go TO settings
2) Go TO Phone
3) Go TO Call Forwarding
For each category there, click it and tell it what you want it to do, and put in the number...that should do it
Than\ks but...
More specifically here's my problem... when I flip to voicemail on the home screen it dials a number that I can't seem to delete. I have edited all the settings \under settings->phone->etc, but I can't seem to find the setting for this number. Any ideas?
I don't find preferred sim setting for messaging in the dual sim settings on ZF2!
Everyone knows there is option to choose to send message from sim1 or sim2 when sending the message manually.
But it is needed for messaging (when using tasker or when anyother app wants to send a message from your phone).
Any one have a work around of some kind?
Thanks.

Hi,
I have an issue that some of the contacts in my phone-book use only 1 SIM for calling without asking for SIM.
I have selected "Ask First" option for calling in the settings also. I need the normal pop-up SIM selection menu for all contacts before calling.
Please help.
Thanks in Advance.
I was wondering if there is a possibility if there are apps with a function that blocks calls based on receiving simcard.
For my specific situation I have 2 simcards in my Oneplus 3. Sim1 is without data. Sim2 is for with 4G data.
Now during my holiday I would like to make use of calling via Sim1 without data, but only use the data from Sim2, without the possibility of being called on the Sim2.
I was wondering if you guys ideas to make this happen, thanks in advance!
You can bar incoming calls on any specific sim in the call settings.
Go to dialer. Tap. The 3 dots options menu on the top right. Go to settings > calling accounts > click on the sim on which you wish to bar incoming calls. Choose call barring and then from off put it on all.
That should work. But this might be network dependent. I mean this sends a request to your service provider. And it happens at their end. If your service provider allows this. It should work fine.
Hi.
In a dual sim phone there is an option to choose a default card for calls or not to, with a must to do it before taking a call.
Is there a way to set some of the contacts (fe. favourite ones) to be automatically called through sim card 1, and the rest, to be called through the card I choose while making a call?
Thanks.
I can't find an option on the default dialler
I don't believe that's a system setting/option. It would have to be in the phone/diar app, which isn't on the stock one. Or a dual sim app that has it and I don't know of any.

They're talking about having select contacts (not all calls) set to always use a certain sim then for the rest of the contacts or when dialing a number not in contacts to always be asked what sim to use. Like a mix of the two options. When you select a default calling sim then ALL call use that sim until you change that setting, which isn't the same thing they asked.
