Since switching to CM, I've lost the ability to adjust shutter speed. The problem has remained since switching to Sultan's ROM. If I adjust the shutter speed, it just takes the picture at the default speed. Is there any way to fix this?

hey. I want to get rid of the sound when zooming in camera mode. I Know I could turn down or deactivate the ringtone-volume each time, what I think is a usability bug. If there is no workaround, can anybody tell me where to find the soundsource in the filesystem (not under system/media/audio/ui) so that I can root-replace it with a 0kb file. plz no help-postings regarding pros and cons of a digital zoom or how to edit pix on the defy after taking them.
AutoFocus Sound??
that is not software sound.
not the autofocus sound, the zoom-sound (volume up or down) while taking a photo. This is a system sound. Seems to be the same sound that occurs when switching off the device.
Has anyone found a way to turn off the shutter sound? I have tried adjusting every volume I can, and haven't been able to find a way to turn this feature off. It's so obvious when you're trying to sneak a funny picture in and this phone makes that loud noise.
you can only disable it by using a different camera app or by using the root method
Hello.
Is there any way to remove shutter sound from other then original camera apps?
I can turn off shutter sound in stock camera app via toggle.
But I hate shutter sound in Google Translate app. For some reason it is extremely loud. And I don't want to set my phone on vibrate/silent just to translate something. (I'm using that application very often (job).
Best regards,
Maciej.
I would also like to add that no volume setting seams to affect that shutter sound in apps.
Something that I can use so I don't have to lower the volume before every shot.
I'm wondering if our device camera's shutter speed is limited by hardware or software.
Doesnt seem to make sense to me that hardware could limit it.
