Need MM tz.img for D850 and other models - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey i need MM tz.img/trustzone for D850 and other models. Its different for each model from what i know, need all models except D855, already have that.
Need to flash that for kernel support.
If any body updated their G3 using official OTA can you get a dump of the image with this
dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/tz of=/sdcard/tz.img
if you updated with fulmics, dont post. fulmics is probably using LP tz.img(not sure)
thanks

Lg g3 d850pr help?

Hi , someone could tell me what custom recovery and kernel i can install on d850pr (claro) variant?
According to this spreadsheet there isnt one.
Also curious with this...
I use this https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=d850
Anyone know if the D850PR variant has Lollipop out yet? I'm in desperate need for the updated modem, because if I flash the standard D850 Lollipop update, I get random reboots, which I strongly believe it's because of the wrong modem...

LG G3 D855 Stock Firware on LG G3 D850

Hello,
Since we have received android Marshmallow update for LG G3 D855 (international version), I am wondering if anyone has tried to install D855 stock firmware file (android 6.0) on D850 (AT&T) version and had any success? I am hoping D855 and D850 are not too different because both use same processor.
I am asking this because I used to have a SONY phone from AT&T and I flashed international version firmware on it and it worked perfectly fine. This was about two years ago.

It will brick the device they are not as similar as you think. Only flash D850 firmware on the D850 phone.

Supposedly, the D855 firmware can be modified/patched to run on D850. At least, there is a Lollipop D855 ROM that runs of D850. So in theory, maybe the D855 ROM can be modified to run on D850.

Thank you. That's what I was thinking. LG G3 is my daily use phone so I can't take a risk. That's why I was wondering if someone has tried it. I know folks at XDA are talented and someone probably have found a solution.

[q] lg g4 stock based rom

Hey guys, My dad is willing to update his LG G4'S version (Currently running Lollipop), I do understand a thing or two in rooting, custom roms and recoverys , however, I own a galaxy s6 - it has no AOSP Roms, only stock based. and my father is used to his phone as it is, I don't think flashing cyanogenmod will be a good idea, he likes the functions LG added and stuff like that( Yeah, I don't understand it too ). Are there any good MM stock based roms?
Thanks and sorry for my English
Cant u just ota official mm?
If not, what variant does he have? not all roms can be flashed.

Sorry for not mentioning - H815, Also, what is the newest official MM version (carrier-free)? I don't have any OTA's in my place currently unfortunately.
I use the stock MM ROM ver 20D listed in Android Development section, and it is lightning fast and smooth!

Well good news, you got the bootloader unlockable variant!
To be honest anything with H815 in it is what you can do.
You can flash stock MM (I'd reccomend v20h its located in the general section)
You can flash cm13,
Be free little birdy!

ROOT for F400K 6.0 MARSHMALLOW

Is there any known good method for rooting an LG G3 F400K running 6.0 ?
Reason I ask is that I have tried a few, none seem to work? Updates to most of them were around 2 years ago?
If you are on v30n firmware is impossible to root, for moment, and you need to revert to an older version on firmware , if lg flash tool don't work, give a try to lg up
F400K30i
Thanks for the reply. I'm on F400K30i.
Do you know which versions can be rooted? (obviously not 30n)
any update that how to root lg g3 MM v 30i..?

H811: Possible to downgrade from Lineage 14.1 to stock 20v?

I originally upgraded to the custom Freedom rom which is based on the stock H815 7.0 from stock marshmallow 20v. I had problems so I clean flashed the same developer's Despacito rom, also based on H815 stock 7.0. The problems persisted so I clean flashed LOS 14.1.
I would prefer to downgrade back to 20v but I'm confused about whether arb issues affect this scenario.
Update: I took a chance on downgrading since I couldn't live with the radio issues on the unofficial Nougat roms. Flashed a zipped stock official T-Mobile 20v and so far no problems. I'd still like to know why this worked but "rolling back" bricks the G4 on "official" stock.

Thanks for the arb specifics. Good to make a note of.
After I successfully downgraded to 20v stock I heard from the developer of the custom stock ROMs I'd had problems with. Turns out he (wisely) uses the 20v baseband and bootloader along with stock 7.0 ported from the H815. I would have relaxed more if I'd known that from the beginning. It's my understanding that developers who base their ROMs on Legacy or AOSP *do not* usually replace the baseband and bootloader when they flash a later version so that it is safe to drop back (within the type of parameters you describe above). I guess he followed that model.
It's always something.

actually we use korean port not h815 we tried and it gives lots of error and FC. i think h815 does flash bootloader.. us we didnt get any beta we use korean KDZ edited to work on h811 volte is missing 4G icon is missing at least on my end it is. and h815 had a beta wich is better then use korean port.
what issues were you facing.? am using h811 port because despacito has black on black text if you use dark theme.

The developer of Despacito, etc. contacted me and confirmed that he uses the Marshmallow radio and bootloader so that is why I was able to go back to H811 6.0 20v. I had intermittent issues with the sd card not being recognized and forcing a re-format.
