Hi there, can you give me a little help?
From long time I suffer from random reboots. This happened always when I'm in the elevator and trying to sent something. Unfortunately that behaviour has become random.
I've switched from Cyanogen mod 13 to exodus without any success. My recovery is the last TWRP 3.0.2.0 and the modem is 21.
I tried to get logs using syslog but I dind't find anything. Logs get deleted when it reboots and I don't know how to get them properly.
What could it be? Bad sectors in the memory? How to fix them?
One solution I've found is to switch from art to dalwik but it seems that it's not possible in android 6
Thank you very much for the help!
Try new battery it ll be solved
Had same problem and its not so random. When the transmitter module asks for more energy due to low signal battery cant comply and a reboot happens. I have also noticed at least with stock G3 batteries that their lifespan is about 18 months

Hi everyone,
I own a tab3 8.0 3g....
I recently broke my phone so i turned my tab3 into one....
Got a bt headset, and at first it seemed ok...
But as sson as was starting to like it,the problems started...
When the bt was on and a call was received ,i couldnt hear anything from the bt headset, but also nothing from the speakers!
It seemed that wifi or data, was also on and caused this....
But the problem remains even now....i changed my samsung bt,with a sony one....but nothing....
Only rebooting helps for a while....
I turned off some settings that used voice commands on call....nothing.....
I read about disabling google now...i dont even have that in my region....
The phone was stock at first, but even when i got it rooted the problem persists...
Its veeeery annoying and today i was using messenger, had data 3g on,and received a call....i couldnt hear a thing, the phone froze and only after a reboot it was ok...
annyone has ever dealed with it?any solutions?
I also read about tasker, but dont know how to edit commands and tasks and i doubt if it would work.....

Hi All,
I've searched for this, but afaik this is a first... I have a unlocked and rooted H815 which is working normally, except for the LG camera app. Video recording causes an immediate FC, taking still pictures is no problem. Did a factory reset and didn't help at all, still FC as soon as I hit record. Other camera apps work without issues, both stills and video...
Any thoughts?
Didn't they say someplace if u unlock u might break stuff?
change camera app.or unroot.a friend of mine has rooted the phone and has the same problem

Rooting and/or unlocking won't do *anything* to your camera in a negative way
I Had rooted my phone and installed RR on my oneplus 3 it worked smoothly for around 2 months but recently i started facing some random reboots so i decided to return to stock but unfourtunately the same problem exsisted and so i decided to flash the community build 3.5.2 after installing it as my daily driver for 2 days i had no issue but now the problem has started again.....i dont know how to fix this problem kindly someone help me
When My phone reboots its shows the oneplus logo and then switches itself off...but somtimes the phone reboots and works normally for half an hour or so and again reboots these reboots usually occur when i comnect to a wifi or surf the net
Any kind of help would be appreciated
It could be because these builds aren't the most stable? Either it may be an app that's causing it? Or a hardware fault?
Verstuurd vanaf mijn ONEPLUS A3003 met Tapatalk
Most of the CB builds are in beta but are good for daily driver and no one with CB 3.5.2 has had reboot issue so that case is unlikely i feel its the wifi or an app the chances of it being a hardware defect is vey unlikely sir because everything works fine a guy faced a similar issue like me but he had this problem only on RR
Go back to Stock see if it still occurs, if so it might well be hardware.

Are you possibly using some weird ass router (Apple airport)?
No i live in India and mine is TP-Link router as i said this issued started after i put RR before having RR on my phone the phone worked smooth
I have noticed that when my device is connected via Wi-Fi, it is keeping the Android system awake, when it is connected through mobile data, it is OK. The thing is that the built in feature that stops the Wi-Fi from working when screen off, doesn't work. What can I do about that?

Try check if you set it up properly.
Eg. longpress the WLAN symbol in the quick settings. Then at the list press the wheel on the upper side.
Theres a setting when to let WLAN active.
Try the ~"only when plugged in" setting or the ~"Never".
The "Always" does what you do not want to have.
i jusst googled for a picture and could find this one (my apologies for external and foreign link / source ):
https://i0.wp.com/www.theandroidsoul.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Nougat-Wi-Fi-solution.jpg
And you can try checking what would keep the phones WLAN awake. Because for me it did work with MM and it does work with nougat also.
PS.: I do not know the exact timing, but theres some time that has to pass until the WLAN gets shut. Maybe just put it a side a while and then wake it up again to check. Not that you reactivate the display too fast.

When you check WLAN Data Usage. What is your top consumer?
Settings Datausage stuffs.... and very far down theres WLAN Data usage...
Edit: Eh, well do not punch me. I am even trying to find out how long it takes to disable the wifi by monitoring my routers UI. And i am waiting 9 Minutes already....
Ok so after 10 minutes i think theres something WRONG. You are right. Seems like i was facing a similar issue and did not notice. Since it seems to not work "every time".
Hm weird now it disconnected after like 17 minutes?
Any information appereciated, please.

How's it?
Mine also turns off after like 17 to 20 minutes. If yours does really not, then try to pin down which app might cause this.
Besides that this "timing" seems way too long in my eyes.

You could try in safe mode?
http://www.htc.com/mea-en/support/htc-10/faq/2/341017/
Maybe this information is also usefull:
http://www.htc.com/mea-en/support/htc-10/faq/2/#faq-341029
Possible it can not go to standby because of pending notification? Or do you have something running like KDE Connect or some FTP server?

Ok,now my device is on safe mode but it has no application. How can I see which application keeps my Wi-Fi on?
Try if it goes to standby in this state. Then in fault free case you would at least know that it is some third party app.
20 mins?

You were right, in safe mode Wi-Fi went off in less than 20 minutes. How can I trace the app that keeps my Wi-Fi on now?...

Try to find info on topic "Check Wakelocks without root?". I would probably try to disable downloaded apps one by one until the issue is gone or try to get information via adb. I dont know how to exactly.
Maybe someone else can help also.
Greetings.
Good Afternoon,
I have noticed a problem with my Zuk Z2 and I want to ask if anyone else is facing it.
Every now and then, especially when typing with keyboards, the vibration completely disappear from the phone (vibrate on touch, vibration when unlocking, ecc. ecc.) and then after some times, after locking and unlocking the screen few times, the vibration returns to work properly.
This is not due to any rom because I experienced this problem with almost all the custom roms posted on XDA, also on ZUI official builds this problem is present.
Is anybody else facing this problem?

As far as I know there is an apparent problem with gboard on all z2 plus devices. Maybe that's what is causing this problem [emoji848]

Thank you for this tip!
Do you have this problem? Which keyboard are you using?
I have tried a different keyboard but unfortunately the problem still persists
TBH I really don't have the phone. I just read it somewhere on the zukfans forum. So I suggest that you post there or wait for someone else !

I have tried to gather information about this error but apparently nobody knows anything.
I have tried multiple keyboards without success, I have tried to install the keyboards as system apps but also in this case the problem persists.
I have even tried to reinstall old and new ZUI chinese builds (1.9.063, 3.1.117 up to the latest 3.5.261) via QFIL, hoping that a deep factory reset would have solve it but every attempt was unsuccessful.
Probably this is an hardware problem and I don't know if can be fixed.
If anybody has any idea, feel free to suggest.
I have this problem too
All I can confirm that this isn't due to the rom or kernel (RR 5.8.4 + Darkmoon 4.001)
because the exact same combo never had this bug before. After a clean wipe, and subsequent restoration from TWRP backup & installation of updated GApps, this bug has infected my phone. Also, what I've noticed is that this bug only happens when we're typing, not at random (for example, when it is locked or viewing media or playing music or scrolling feed)
Also, apparently from the same time, the phone tends to heat up lot and drain it's battery much more quickly.
That's all I observed, let me know if that helped anyone
It might be a problem with any of the system level google processes on the phone as far as I can guess.
