The only hope for this is patchrom. And MIUI team recently added source for MM miui 8 patchrom source on there github, so you'd rather build a one and test it

Hi there, this looks promising.
Omni has been my favourite KitKat ROM since the good old OmniMetal builds by metalspring and later FML-Omni by Mwisbest have benn running for months on my maguro.
I like it 'casue is close to AOSP with a little bit of extra features that I found to be all I need, so I'm really happy to see Omni Lollipop builds coming!
Just courius about how much of the Omni extra features are already on Lollipop, any hints about it? Right now I'm running Zmod and I'm quit happy of it, just missing quick toggles customization and network speed in the statusbar (those were present in Omni KK).
If all of the Omni goodies are already there I will probably give it a try.

(19th Oct. 2015): CM13 source code is out. Unofficial ports should be coming in hot now.

It's not that easy.
-First of all miui9 is almost out and developers prefer the latest android version(nougat).
-Secondly if they want to do it now they will be forced to use cm/los 13 because miui 8 android version is marshmallow and it will be harder for them as long as if they use those roms they will experience many errors.
//Also you need cm/los or something else with 6.0 because you HAVE to PATCH MIUI into the rom.

Hey guys, since I'm using PixelExperience (9.0) for the 5T which is a port of the one for the 5 and that one is discontinued I was wondering if anyone could port the new rom by the same guy, PiXeN2, you can find it on xda: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/development/rom-nitrogen-os-beta-t3839453

unofficial build of PE by official maintainer of 5T PE already released, I think 2-3 builds already. Check the TG channel (link available on PE 8.1 thread in XDA)
I've compiling nitrogen os for dumpling but I'm not able to test it yet. Someone feeling lucky to see if it boots? Gzosp sources. Probably 5.1.5 firmware. If it boots. U Will be the first person to properly boot a nitrogen rom in android p for 5t.
