[Q] MIUI porting from other Snap800 Device

Is possible that noone ported from any other Snap800 device (like nexus 5 or the same xiaomi mi3) the MIUI rom for our Z1c?
It would be great to have that awesome OS!

And yes, It's possible to port it but I don't have access to a PC with a Linux distro right now so I'm unable to do so.
Maybe you can suggest @OmarEinea to port it?

sorry , i am fresher to android, i mean launcher apps to get the skin of miui, is any other way to root the os and change to miui, ? and which one is the best cm or miui

go to en.miui.com and download the launcher from link given at bottom right corner.
if still any issue then pm me.
else you can search miui ported apps in google for other miui ported apps like file manager, camera etc

[Q] Porting MIUI / Cyanogenmod

since CM R20 is in a quite stable state ... and has a great battery life , i would like to ask, if it is possible to use latest MIUI V5 for REDMI 1S with base rom cyanogenmod r20?
Is there someone how can provide a porting guide or best practice to do this, or is it not possible?

Flyme it's fine, but must be WWE version. Otherwise will be some problems with Google apps like with new Hydrogen..

miui 9 is out!! are developers still interested in continuing the project>?

Hey everybody...miui 9 is officially out ..do u think developers will be able to get the camera prob fix now and port a fully working miui 9 rom to our device like miui8?? cuz to me miui is one of the best roms for our phone other than a pure stock android rom. Miui has alot of great features . Im really hoping a fully stable working miui 9 rom can be ported soon

MIUI projects are usually ported to one device from another.
For Z2 Plus, i think it is ported from Mi 5 usually by the Chinese Devs/porters.
You can ask the ones to do it as they have been doing it since a long time.
Maybe they'll do it, as i have seen some MIUI 9 beta builds on Chinese Forum..
