Hi,
I'm having a problem with AudioFX and Pandora (only in this combination). Turning on and off doesn't do anything, it appears to be off all the time.
If I use another app (like Vanilla music), AudioFX works as expected.
Would there be any reason why it wouldn't work with Pandora?
Thanks.
Try ViperFX works 100% fine on MM and N.

Hi I have a LG GK(f220k), which is actually a korean version of G pro, I have installed a custom music fx ported from Vega R3, it works fine with poweramp and the google play music, but the problem is, it occassionally stops the effect when notification comes in such as whatsapp or ringer, and I need to enable it again by reclicking the music fx button in poweramp, then it works fine again. Sometimes it stops when I listen for long time too, i mean playing music for few hours, then suddenly I need to reclick music fx button and fix it, can anyone tell me the reason? Actually I had a g pro before and it has the same problem, I know it may be related to the compatibility. And i am thinking it might be resolved if I try to integrate the custom music fx into the system or bypass the original audio processing path by using root explorer.....such as changing lib. Thanks PS, anyone can tell me how to disable the stock camera shutter?
I recently updated to the deodexed stock kitkat rom with kt747 kernel. Everything is running fine except audio files in every program but poweramp have major crackling/static issues. The audio files play fine on my computer, it happens both over headphones and through phone's speaker. I use poweramp for all of my music but am really missing being able to use pocketcasts. Audio in youtube app also works fine. I have tried a factory reset and am at a loss for what else I can try to fix the problem. If anyone has any advice or tips or is experiencing a similar problem I would be very grateful to hear from you.
I think that the DSP doesn't process it right with a KK kernel although I do not have issues on stock kk ......have you tried a different audio processor like DSP manager or viper4android etc....?
Tried both of those and it didn't seem to help. Oddly enough I had one podcast today that I was able to play through pocketcasts without audio issues, but all the rest of my podcasts were ****ed up.
Well try a different kernel.....I read reports that some kernels don't provide enough power to the DAC and so it can cause crackling
I have installed experience ROM on my OnePlus 3 and tried using Dolby Atmos. The sound quality improved drastically but the audio was choppy/stuttering on Google play music with the audio enhancement. The music is locally stored and works perfectly when atmos is switched off. Is there any way to make it stop stuttering as I would like to listen to my music with Atmos switched on? Any help would be appreciated.

I had the very same problem with FreedomOS+Dolby Atmos. I resolved this by increasing min cpu frequence from 307 MHz to 422MHz. I have ElementalX and used EX Kernel Manager.
I have tested by listening to the same song at 307 MHz and 422MHz. Stutters disappears at 422MHz.
Feel like i need to write this down, incase any else have similar issue.
Just upgraded to Freedom OS 2.3 (OOS 4.0.3?) And installed Viper4Arise.
Stumbled upon this very issue, but with any emulator instead (Gameboy, N64, etc).
So after reading this, i opened Viper4Arise and turned "Master Power" to ON, and bam! No more stutter, just like that.
I left everything else in that app to OFF but Master Power.
So anyone having stuttering issue with sound, check any audio enhancing app/mod you may have installed, like Dolby Atmos mentioned above or Viper4Arise. Try turning it ON or OFF.
Asus dolby atmos
I used to have such stutters but that was because of some battery saving mods i had installed. So if you ahave any of those i suggest you uninstall them first
Im currently on Nougat RR with dolby atmos and v4a installed but everytime tablet sleeps audio pauses for a moment and then it seems like both sound mods stop working any help would be appreciated.
One of my guesses are that maybe is something involving the way kernel handles battery saving but i cant be sure
Anyone else have this problem? You are listening to music but switch to youtube or something. Or you unplug your headphones and plug them in again
When you switch back to your music player, viper4android stops working.
Reinstalling the entire app and reapplying each setting fixes it but it's too much of a hassle. Sometimes restarting a few times works too. Other than that I have no idea why this app sometimes starts working.
Running Resurrection Remix 7.0.2 and standalone viper4android 2.7.1.0
