Need assistance flashing 6.0 ROM on a retail convert

Hello all,
I have searched and searched, and I can't find a clear answer as to what I need to do. I converted my retail verizon note 4 a few months ago as soon as a permanent root method was discovered.
here's what i'm on right now.
5.1.1
N910VVRU2BPA1
TWRP 3.0.2
I'm trying to install this ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-verizon/development/rom-paulpizz-rom-t3360469
the instructions say
Make sure your rooted and have a custom recovery installed on VRU2CPD1 Firmware --> GO HERE For upgrade Instructions --> Thanks @hsbadr
I clicked on the link and the instructions seem to be for rooting and installing a recovery for the first time... I'm already rooted though.
Can't I just install a new firmware and ROM through TWRP?
Thanks!

This process will upgrade your boot loader. Follow the instructions, it is required for most MM ROMs.

You need to root before you install TWRP. Be sure to root with CF-Auto-Root. After that, you can find TWRP for your device here: https://dl.twrp.me/hlte/
Thank you very much. Now do I root through oden or by memery card?

To flash with CF-Autoroot, you flash it with Odin. You can find detailed instructions on how to root here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2672393
You can skip the first step and just follow the steps on how to flash with CF-Autoroot and how to flash TWRP
Follow instructions carefully
Good luck!
Root is not required to flash TWRP. You can flash TWRP from Odin and then flash supersu from TWRP to root the phone.
Rooting with cfautoroot will not install a custom recovery.

Be sure to have downloaded the correct cf-autoroot for N900T. Should be named something like this: "CF-Auto-Root-hltetmo-hltetmo-smn900t"
Thank you for the help you have been giving me. I was able to root my phone once I got the correct file. I have also installed twrp . Now I just need to find a good ROM to mess around with.

Glad to help. There are pretty good ROMs out there. I would suggest getting a Note7 port, since not only you get a newer version of Android, you get the very specific Note features which are awesome! Happy flashing!

HowTo Root and Install TWRP on Note 10+

So I know... Maybe I'm daft... but I cannot figure out how to root and install TWRP. I can get root. no prob but when I install TWRP I lose root...
I cannot seem to find clear directions on how to do both root & install TWRP.
I been around a while now and have been rooting my phones since Galaxy S3 but was out for a few years due to the U variants and now it seems I have lost something.
What am I missing? are thee any directions or links someone can share with me that provides a procedure on how to both root and install custom recovery?
