Hi all, I noticed that in the JB ROM I just installed when I get a calendar reminder and i look at it in the notification bar there is a button to "Snooze" but nothing to Dismiss. I know in ICS if I clicked on it I would get a button that said Dismiss or Snooze. Anyone know how I can get it to say both Dismiss or Snooze, or if I click on it how to get those buttons to show up?
Thanks.
That is annoying. Not sure why the dismiss button would be dropped??
Just swipe it away.
I want a way to stop my SMS from appearing on my lockscreen, I tried to find a way to turn it off. I am a privacy freak and i don't want my messages appearing while my phone is locked...can anybody help me?
You can have it hidden it'll just say new message but that includes for notification bar as well its in the settings of the messaging app
Yeah I don't understand the sms notification. I wish you could just disable the lock screen notification. It doesn't function the way I wish it did. It also makes all other sms widgets on the lock screen pointless.
Hi,
quick question:
If I select "block from Peek" (hope it is called like that in english) from the Blacklist menu in the an app's options, what does happen?
A) Screen does not wake when the app gets a notification
B) Screen does not wake when the app gets a notification AND the notification symbol of that app is never shown on the Peek screen
It seems to me, that A) is correct. If is the case, wouldn't it make more sense to do B)? I mean you don't want peek for those notifications, so they should not even show, right? Additionally, if you habe permanent notification that does not have a symbol in the notification bar, they still get their icon on the peek screen, which is rather ugly.
Cheers!
How do you open apps directly from lock screen notifications? In stock Android 5, you double tap it.
That would be correct... If I have a notification from an app say Facebook on my lock screen, I hit the notification, it asks me for my knock code, then opens into the app.
I dont have any knoc code. Just swipe to unlock. Tapping or double tapping the notif doesnt do anything.
Just tap the notification and swipe. Works for me
Anyone else have this issue?
When I'm connected to a smart lock trusted device (Specifically Bluetooth) and I click a notification to open it up from the lock screen, I can't do anything on screen until I pull down the notification bar first.
