I currently own the Spigen Neo Hybrid, which I thought was slim:

But it's not that much, really... The slimmest I could find was the Spigen Thin Fit, but it's not that much slimmer:
Is there anything slimmer out there?
I have that case... Try using it without the border....
I also have the seidio case... I just use the inner cushion part... It doubles as a thin case cuz I can see their logo on it... I don't think you can go much thinner
I didn't measure but I have a cheap Chinese TPU case and it looks less than a mm. It was less than $1 shipped.
I have the nillkin nature TPU case. Perfect fit, and only 0.5-0.6mm thickness. Not much "bulk" added at all when used.

Don't really like it without the border and it's still too bulky.

I don't really like those kind of "translucent" cases... Had one for my previous phone and with time it became yellowish and ugly.
I also have the Nillkin nature, and yeah, most of these transparent cases do discolor over time, but for only $5 I'll pick up another one when that happens. As far as the case itself goes, I had one of those $1 TPU cases and the mold was a little loose, in particular the sides had a tendency to bulge outwards so I would definitely check the reviews and images before pulling the trigger on one of those. The Nillkin one is pretty spot on and the buttons feel much clickier. Nillkin also have a hard case that's almost as thin as the Nature case, I'll put a link below:
https://goo.gl/7Xus8N
+1 for the Nillkin, I also have this, some months now and not even remotely going yellow.
I have had cheap brand ones in the past that went yellow before now so holding hope this one will not do that.
Good case, light, slim and easy to remove if wanting to run naked around the streets for a bit

I am really liking this case, the pictures look great.
I am currently enjoying the Spigen thin Fit case, but will be grabbing one of these, thanks for sharing. :good:
--------------
I had a 'barely there' case by Casemate on my M8, and was hoping they would bring it to the 10, but it seems they have discontinues that case for whatever reason.
Watch out for the spigen case, it has some issues with flash when using the camera. Otherwise it's solid.

It doesn't look exactly like the picture, but it was really inexpensive. I like the look of the HTC 10 so I got a clear case. I also figured that if it yellows a bit, I could always get a replacement for really cheap.

Thank you kindly, looks real nice, especially for that price.
Do you suggest it?
I do. I have a more rugged case also, but only use that rarely because I feel safe enough with the thin case.
Thanks. Bought 3 of them just in case they get yellowish since they are so cheap and if I don't like it, well, too bad...
I've been rocking the Imak cowboy case (there's a review of it somewhere here). Keep in mind it'll probably have little impact protection but if all you're needing is scratch protection I find it perfect.
Slimmest case by far for me would be the included case from Yelun that was bundled with the TGSP. I've gone used only the HTC Ice View, Nillkin, and Spigen Crystal (I think).

I grabbed 2 myself.
For 77 cents, can't go wrong.
I'm at that point where I love my 10 but no longer treat it like a baby, so I still want some protection against surface scratches and what not, but still want to be able to enjoy the device.
Hopefully it holds up as well as the M8 did for me. Bought it on release day, used it up until the 10 release day, in just a slim case, not screen protector, and it's still in mint condition.
X-Level probably makes some of the best slim cases I have ever used. I first discovered them for my M8 when I visited Hong Kong and I've gotten them for all my phones since then: http://www.ebay.com/itm/X-Level-Lux...hash=item1a1de87d40:m:m4lwJH0dcr1dceg1As9H-EQ
They're also really cheap which is nice.
This is one of the nicest and slimmest that I've used: http://www.ebay.com/itm/360-Protect...hash=item3d2066daa1:m:mJx-cwyQu1UTdGuV1gRW8gw

I ordered the black one and another person on this thread did so too.
It's a bit pricy, but I like the design. I hope it isn't too heavy or bulky. What's the use having the lightest phone out there to burden it down with a bad case. I also picked up one of the cheap <$5 silicon gel cases. Had good experiences with those in the past, but they are a bit bulky.

Yeah, it's a little pricey, but I like when I find something "Different". I've never seen something quite like these.
$18 isn't more than what T-Mobile wants. This case looks pretty nice though, not as bulky. I'm buying this one and the leather one from Zenus because it looks really good too. Now that one is pricey at about $40...
Bought a red one also last week. It's the color that stands outs to me. Also ordered a jelly case for full protection when I need it.
so are these made out of the same thing as the gel skins? like silicone?
or are they more of a hard material with a rubbery finish?
I love this unique design. It definitely stands out. I'm thinking of ordering the red or green case. Thanks for the link.
really like the design but there's an extra cutout on the top right corner above the camera

LoL seller doesn't know about the Vibrant, but he might be getting more business from all the Tmobile buyer folks in the US.
Will this fit? According to both T-Mobile website specs and GSMArena specs the Vibrant is .3mm wider than the Origional SGS.
Origional SGS: 122.4 x 64.2 x 9.9 mm Source
Vibrant: 122.4 x 64.5 x 9.9 mm Source and Here (you will have to do inch to mm conversion but comes out to same as gsmarena)
P.S. The T-Mobile website says 2.5" but its actually 2.54".

1mm is like smaller than 1/16 of an inch. Your talking .3mm. For Gel cases it should not be an issue. This is a plastic "premium flexible polycarbonate" so it might be a problem, but the design with the extra cutouts on the short sides should allow some flex to the long sides. We won't know for sure till someone gets their case.

Mine shipped yesterday. I should get it in about 5-10 business days. So if it doesn't fit I'll have wasted $20. So it better fit.
I'd recommend getting one of the cheap <$5 soft gel cases from eBay and wait for some feedback on this case.

Yeah, all of the cases for the i9000 will have that extra cutout. It's for the TV antenna that Korean phones have (which we in the US will likely not get to experience anytime soon - HOORAY FOR THE FCC!).

I most definitely will!
Got my mesh case in the mail today. Bought them on the 20th, so delivered from Korea in 6 days. Not bad.
Got them from this seller on eBay. Bought both the mesh and jelly cases. As part of his promo he included free screen protectors and added an additional clear jelly case for getting back to him if his cases fit the Vibrant (which they do!)
Note: The free case and screen protectors were a special gift and a separate promo. I'm not saying everyone will get it. You can ask, but don't bug the seller if he doesn't give you one. If it ain't listed on the eBay listing, you ain't got squat.
First the pictures from the mesh case. The case has a nice snug fit and almost feels metallic. The cutouts fit perfectly, but due to the hard plastic feel sharper edged than the jelly case. Weight-wise it pretty light and actually makes the Vibrant more wieldly because without a case the Vibrant is almost too light.
Here are the pictures of the Jelly case. I got both a clear and black one, but I prefer the black one better and that is what I am using now. The soft silicone is slick enough so that it doesn't feel sticky, but also prevents the Vibrant from sliding around when you put it into your car dashboard (still waiting for my mount). I'm not so hot on the crystal design on the back, but thankfully it isn't too obvious with the darker case.
Here are the pictures. The majority of the picture show the darker "black" case. The clear case is shown in 9263, 9264 and 9265 for comparison.
I'm looking for a really thin and lightweight case for my note. I really prefer to use it without the flipcase, and like the SGP ultra thin that I had for my S2. But the ultra thin is not out yet and just about every case is either too bulky or made of tpu or some other material that I don't like.
So what do u guys think? Is it sufficient to just use a screen protector? I keep my phone in my bag when not in use.

SGP Ultra Thin
Thank you for all the suggestions! I didn't know about the existance of some of them! I may still go for the Ultra Thin Air now that it is available as I had it for my S2 and coupled with an SGP screen protector, seems good enough.
For those who are unsure about how good the screen protector is, check out the video at the bottom of this page.

Well being a glossy plastic I suppose it does. My case for the S2 was white so it wasn't that obvious. Btw, I had dropped that phone at least a couple of times with the casing on, without any issues to the screen or bezel. Though admittedly the height was about three feet or less.

Got one of these a few days ago, the case itself is thin and fits like a glove, that being said it scratches really quickly (it was scratched by the time I put the screen protector on) on the backside, screen protector so far seems solid.
Hi all,
I've been a lurker for many years here on XDA and figured I'd try and contribute for once. Sorry if someone has posted a review on this case in the other threads. I looked around for a bit but didn't find any.
I received my Speck GemShell for my HTC One http://www.speckproducts.com/smartphone-cases/htc/gemshell-for-htc-one.html about 3 days ago. It's a hard plastic case with gel incorporated around it. BTW, for those considering shipping options, mine shipped out from Oklahoma so it reached me in Chicago in a day via the free shipping option (USPS). That being said, here are my impressions so far:
Pros:
- The case still leaves the phones feeling pretty slim (though I still do prefer it nekkid).
- It's clear except for a gel around the front rim, corners, and inputs.
- The gel around the front rim elevates the phone when placing it on its face.
- The gel around the inputs will hopefully prevent wearing/cracking of the hard plastic.
- Seems well sealed enough that I haven't seen any dust or pocket enter the space between the case and phone.
- The speck logo on the back is really well done. It makes it seem like it's a part of the aluminum.
Cons:
- The power button becomes really recessed. Not a deal breaker for me but definitely something to take note of.
- Interacting with the volume buttons requires more effort.
- I'm OCD on keeping fingerprints off my phone/case and the cleaning has left micro-scratches on the case. So far it doesn't interfere with the appearance but we'll see after a longer period of time.- Wish the gel actually covered the entire sides, top, and bottom for better coverage. Even with the clear plastic, you don't really see the aluminum on the sides, top, and bottom.
So you can see the selling point of this phone is not only that it's a clear case but the gel that they've incorporated into it. I'm a bit sad on the micro-scratches but I'm not convinced there's any other case-based solution that would be cost effective. I've attached pictures of the case below.
Hope this mini-review helps!

I just got this case in the mail over the weekend (still waiting on phone) and The case feels rather flimsy on its own and is incredibly thin. I have no doubt it'll protect against scratches, but feels like it'll do nothing for drops. I didn't expect Otterbox protection, but was hoping for some kind of impact absorption. Anyone have any experience with these cases and drops with previous devices?
Actually I went into the Sprint store on Thursday the 18th & purchased the white & silver speck case cor my HTC ONE that I was receiving in the mail the next day on the 19th & liked my case on it because it matches tne phone perfectly & fits it really tight like a body glove. It's hard to put on & hard to take off but I saw the clear gel case by speck o line yesterday morning & wanted that one because it will show my phone all the way around, I just dont want it to loosen up over time but this one I do have by speck is a hard shell case on the outside but a softgray rubber on the inside

Some people might say that an Otterbox case is overpriced. While I agree that they are certainly costly compared to other cases out there, they do offer some pretty good protection. I see it like this... Some people get insurance on their phone because they know that one day they might need to make a claim and get a replacement phone. Me personally, I've never had insurance on a phone and have also never broken a phone. So instead of paying a monthly fee for something that might happen, I pay a one time fee to ensure that I'm getting good protection on a costly device. With that said I do have an Otterbox case for my OnePlus 3T and so far it's been great.
You can take a look at Poetic Cases. I'm rocking now the Revolution on my Moto Z Play, model made for Z Force, and I can tell you, for under 20$, u cannot find other 2 pieces case with protection on display, some plastic. The plastic will scratch easily but in the end, not the shell worth, just the nucleus . It's a little bulky, steady in hands and the back piece is made from hard plastic and the edges of it from some nice good TPU.
Sorry for my bad english skills. Hope you got the ideea.
anyone thinking about rhinoshield? (https://rhinoshield.io/collections/oneplus-3)
I saw a video on youtube where a dude using this bumper case on his 3, tried getting the phone damaged by dropping the phone from various heights. the phone was unscathed even after falling from 22 ft (2 storey up). however in general usage, the phone will (likely) not be falling from a 2 storey building but a user's pocket height, so the case seems good. however, at 25 USD, it feels a bit pricier. but i guess that's a better protection/weight tradeoff than most fully phone covers.
what's your opinion guys?
I use a Spigen Neo Hybrid Case on my 3T and I love it!!!
Good protection yet slim (adds 3,25mm thickness) and beautiful!
For my eyes it is the best looking case out there that adds enough protection.
And even the price is not bad with 14,99 Euro here in Germany or I think $17,99 on amazon.com.

I found this Orzly's case so good, maybe too width for you though. Look up for "Orzly® Grip-Pro Case" (XDA does not allow me to share links yet)

I have this case. Works well, and will work with the oneplus 2 holster from Seidio if you are so inclined. Also works with the TGSP without causing the edges to lift up.
Definitely would recommend and second the spigen case.

The faux carbon fiber look at the top is great too, gives a D-Brand kind of feel to it.

Could you give me precise measurement of the case (with calipers )? I'm currently using a Tudia Merge (rugged dual layer) and I find it kinda wide and thick (that's what she said...). This Spigen looks good, but I don't want to spend yet another $10-$15 if they're the same.

Oh, I didn't think about that. Sometime they do put them a bit smaller than real life, but I guess I can still get an idea about it.

It's covering the microphone on the back!
The answer is OtterBox always. I have it in black and it feels awesome. Best protective case.
Picked up the Otterbox when I ordered my phone. Not sure how $25 is considered overpriced for the protection you want.
You get what you pay for.

So, I was looking for a new skin on my phone when I realized that I didn't want to do a wrap. If you're like me, you'll spend $10 and then remove the skin in like a week. After that you'll have to buy another one if you want to go through the process again. I'm not 100% into cases because of bulk and this is a damn sexy phone.
I scoured a few different places looking for a white thin case when I came across this: ELAGO THIN CASE
Here are my pros:
Fit is perfect
Cut outs are exact
This actually feels like it could be part of the phone
Has a Matte White look
Not TPU, its a hard plastic
Lots of compliments just in one day
Cons (Keep in mind, these are things people may not like but doesn't bother me)
Phone is still a little slippery
Buttons are now a bit more flush with the case
Zero lip over the glass to put upside down
The cut outs are exact so accessories are about 1mm from being perfect
I'm going back for the other two colors. This is an awesome case. Does anyone else have any ultra thin cases they can recommend.

Is there a promo code for that one? Kinda high in price.
got this today, it's going back. I have a skin on my phone, the case went on with ease on top of that and was still not snug
I got the Anccer in gravel black:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XTQKJY8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Preserves "caseless" feel, super grippy.
Do not spend 10 USD for just re-branded case.
Buy the exact same one just for 4USD.

Good call.
Edit: Just went to the link. I just don't like AliExpress. I had problems with them in the past. 20-39 days for a case when I can get it in 2 days from Amazon, meh... I'll pay the difference.

Really? That's a bummer. Mine fits perfect and has no movement. I don't have any sort of skin. I wonder if that's throwing off the fit.

It looks just as good in person.
Needs a top and bottom lip. Put your phone face down and it will scratch.

Nope. User a screen protector.. Cases with lips exist. This is for absolute minimalists.
Just went to the mailbox to get the Elago case I ordered after seeing this thread. I'm coming from the Spigen Slim case and, even by comparison, the Elago is ridiculously thin! I love it, but it definitely needs to be paired with a screen protector in order to keep the phone somewhat safe.
It is probably not nearly as thin as that case, but I usually buy Ringke Fusion cases for every phone I get. I love the way it adds the extra tactile feel to the buttons, and has saved me from many drops even on asphalt and hard concrete. I'm not sure how it is on the S8+ yet as my S8+ is not here yet. but I've used Ringke Fusion cases on OP3T, Nexus 6P, Nexus 6, Xperia Z3, and I have loved it on every phone.

Not even close.
Just a heads up. The Elago scratches and scuffs pretty easily. Not that I expected much from such an inexpensive case but, I've been babying my black Elago and, within 24 hours it already has 4 or 5 long scuff marks across the back. Not a big deal, just thought I'd mention. It would've been nice if they had used the same type of rubberized finish found on the Spigen and Ringke slim cases.
