UNOFFICIAL ANDROID NOUGAT BOOTANIMATION FOR HDPI(480X800)DEVICES
Hey people, this is my first thread here on XDA, kindly pardon me for any errors you may find in this post. :fingers-crossed:
First of all, credits goes to
@ZeevoX for source files :: Click here to see the thread
@despotovski01 for the tutorial on making custom boot animations :: Click here to see the thread
Specially to @androcraze for giving me tips on reducing image frames, telling about issue of grey fade out effect in black background animation and also for providing source files improved by him.
Okay, coming back to the stuff
I have thus resized the boot animations (both with dark and white backgrounds) to work properly on hdpi devices (480X800) (will not be displayed weirdly enlarged). I have also made flashable zips for both dark and white version of boot animations, both files attached below at the end of this post.

Changelog (25-09-2016)
1) Removed extra image frames from the animation.
2) Added Variable delays between parts of the animation.
3) Reduced File size of Boot Animation
4) Made Flashable Zip of both the versions of boot animation (Yes! you can install it from recovery)

Never thought that anyone apart from @androcraze would actually use the resources I uploaded, but it looks like it was worth the slow upload speed wait.

Hi,
I'm a big fan of the best mobile operating system, Android, and after getting adicted to him, i wanted it more personalized as possible.
So i started changing images in the frameworks, but that wasn't enought, so i sarted learning more and more, and now i'm decompiling the apk's and making clean themes.
After a great evolution and learning from the first example, I come here to present my new theme, so more people could try it, and if they want, help me improve it.
___________________________________________________________________
Base:
I didn't liked the light blue stock samsung has so i tried to make a orange version of it.
I'm always trying to improve it, but i'm not very creative so i'm always open to sugestions. So I'll post an update here if something changes.
___________________________________________________________________
Install instructions
Just flash the pack with CWM.
Make sure you pick Stock framework, in case you have any problem you can always revert it.
The first boot after you flash this can take a long time. And I mean a really long time. This doesn't mean its stuck at boot. After that it will boot at normal speed and future updates should also boot faster.
If there is a problem and it does get stuck at boot the phone will vibrate multiple times during the glowing S logo and eventually will go black. If you have that problem then flash your backup, a working theme or your rom again.
If you have issues after the install try to clear the dalvik cahche from recovery.

Suggestions/Tips
If you have suggestions to make it better let me know. Can't promise I can do it but I will look at it.
Using files for your own theme
If you are going to make a theme and post it here you are free to use some files from this theme. If it is a small number of images you can take them. If you are using a lot from it then you are still allowed to use it (would be nice to ask) but at least leave some credits and don't deny it (you know who you are ).

Simple and Clean Technical Bootanimation
I was getting sick and tired of the default "S", so I created a new bootanimation with a clean and simple concept while still stylish and technical. I call it "TechBoot" and I wanted to share it with the community.
Information about the animation:
I used several different programs to create the animation. For graphics and mock-ups the program used was Adobe Photoshop. For motion and effects I used Adobe After Effects. These programs made it easy to compose a High Quality animation. The bootanimations are in a zip archive format and are compatible with any kernel that supports "bootanimation.zip".
*Feedback is much appreciated and suggestions to future releases will be met by gratitude.

They ate just PNG images. Either convert video into frames or create your own animation. After effects is good.

I forgot to say, the flashable zip only works on stock sony based roms. So it won't work on your cm10. That is because the directory for wallpapers is differant on CM based roms. I will prepare another flashable zip that works on CM based roms in the next 2 days. So stay tuned. Or you can try the non-flashable walls.
EDIT: I DECIDED I WILL NOT MAKE ONE FOR CYANOGEN MOD BECAUSE ON CM THE WALLPAPERS ARE ALL PACKED IN AN APP, UNLIKE ON A STOCK SONY BASED ROM, THE WALLPAPERS ARE IN A FOLDER IN /SYSTEM. AND I AM NOT SO GD WITH APPS, SO I CAN'T, SORRY

you tried the flash able zip or the non-flash able zip ?
EDIT: now i understand. The wallpaper is made like this by sony. As you can see, the lower part of wallpaper is crystal clear, but the upper part is blurry, and the main reason behind it is : when you take a photo, you have to focus it on the near object or the far object, you can't do them both. Sony had set focus on "macro" when taking the pic, there is nothing you can do except choose a different wallpaper

all your bootanimation looks AWESOME
but canu change the a google company to POWERED BY ANDROID ?
@Mazer.one...Very nice animation...I made about 50 for the Acer A500 and started a thread there which grew rapidly as people weighed in with their contributions...I looked inside Motorola's stock animation (not the latest one they have just uploaded, the one with the world spinning) and saw that in contrast to most Android animations where multiple frames of jpg's or png's are used, they have used mp4 files... most odd I thought.

I realize that this is an old thread and apologize for bumping it back to the top. But I tried loading the bootanimation and it did not work for me. So I am sure I am loading it incorrectly.
Is this zip file flashed via TWRP/CWM, or, fastboot flashed, or just added to the /system/media folder and the original renamed?
I really like these and would like to use them on my XT1045. Thanks
DISREGARD - Silly me, it seems every time I ask for assistance I always find the answer. There is a zip file within this zip file. I knew I should have looked earlier. LOL

Hi guys, here I'm sharing the reworked watchdog Boot animation originally made by @nin9
I'm sharing this because I've tried out the original one but seemed to be not working on the moto E series because of the higher resolution, so I reworked on this Bootanimation and now it is perfectly working with no issues.

Was really excited. But surprisingly, on download, both the zips were only ~146kb. Is that normal?
The non-flashable and the flashable zip don't work. Also the flashable one gives and error, "corrupt zip file".
Hope this help somehow.
