Can't install Viper4Android - Nexus 5X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I have a problem with Viper4Android. It doesn't want to to install.
What i've done/tried:
- Phone is rooted
- Running CM13
- ElementalX
- SELinux set to Permissive on every boot (SuperSU)
- Tried installing driver through app and zip (flash)
- I have deleted /system/vendor/etc/audio_settings.conf
What should I do/What did I do wrong?
Greetings ErixGamer

Extremebeats

Or you can have a look at my signature, I have link there for a working V4A. No need to set permissive or delete audio settings.

[Q] Installing Viper4Android on 14.5.A.0.242 fw

Has anyone been successful at installing viper4android on z1c 14.5.A.0.242 firmware? I have installed the app, then drivers then rebooted but still nothing. I also have selinux on permissive as required. What am I missing?
For a long while, v4a has been my go to audio mod. I don't think there's any better out there.
I know I am not asking this just for myself alone lol but if you have it working on your z1 compact with 14.5.A.0.242 fw. Please share how you made it work?
thanks in advance
-------------------
Edit. it kicks in after an hour or two of music play with Poweramp. Not really reliable.
EDIT 2: Flashing the v4a zip worked for me. Thanks to @pathaniya's link post #5
EDIT 3: Flashing the viper zip with recovery will most likely break your fm radio!
Works like a charm, but SeLinuxModeChanger.apk needs to be installed.

Aside from changing the SELinux mode to permissive, don't forget to uncheck the "Use NuPlayer" option from settings - developer option

@wenyu Do you already have installed cyanogen ROM??
If any SM-G530 variants wants to install this, don't worry this mod supports Jelly Bean and up on any devices

Viper4android flashable zip?

Is there any flashable zip of v4a for the pixel xl yet? I tried following a guide for Android nougat v4a installation and the app didn't install after flashing. Is there any way to install v4a without running a custom ROM?

Weta 9.1

I installed Weta 9.1 using twrp and it installed but i dont know if its working or not. V4A didnt ask for permission for root and is not showing up in my SuperSU permissions. Is this normal?? And is it working?? Is V4A working??

If its not in the app drawer its not working. I answered you in the theme thread. Weta doesn't flash for me in Twrp RC2. I have to use RC1.
V4A doesn't need superSu in this mod. Dolby Atmos needs to run in selinux permissive mode to work, unfortunately. The weta mod will set it to permissive automatically.

Weta preinstalls the V4A driver so SuperSU is not needed.

Uninstall viper and the audio modification module. Install the viper fx module and choose original at install don't reboot. Install the audio modification module reboot. If viper has an update do this again. Hope it helps.

They're in the Magisk Module Repo.
You only need to install the modification library if you install other audio mods aside from Viper. What you might've been missing is the Audio Compatibility Patch(also in the repo). This is needed to allow all audio(such as Soundcloud that uses it's own EQ) to go through Viper. The only downside with the compatibility patch on the P2XL, it causes stuttering when 2 audio sources try to overlap each other for a good, lets say 10 seconds?

I use this viper and have to remove and reinstall this audio mod Everytime there is a viper update. I forgot to mention I had overlap over Bluetooth about 50% of the time for the duration of use. I disabled music fx and it fixed it. For viper I choose new and original theme.
Sorry to bump an old post, but does anyone who has viper working on pie when they reboot their phone viper opens up automatically? I installed through magisk and am still on the initial release of pie. It works I just never had this happen before and curious if I'm the only one.
