Not sure, but over last weekend I used mine for navigation and Bluetooth streaming and it charged fine with a regular QC 2.0 car charger. I know it doesn't use QC 2.0, but it charged fine. Screen was on for an hour and half and it started at 88℅ and got to 100.

The are available from oneplus.net right now... I got 2 of them last week (took less than 3 days to get to the US from China)... I just checked the website and they still show them as in stock.
I've the official one and it's awesome :starting at 50% GPS and screen always on for an hour and finish at 100...

It will charge but at normal USB speeds and not QC. I purchased the Dash Car Charger which works great.

Mine needs 2 h +/- with a 1A Samsung charger and a LG G2 cable.
(I try to not use it that much while it charges)

Chargers range from 1A-2A output. The cable will also affect the charge speed. I tried replacing the cable on my Samsung charger with a cheapo $1 one, and it wouldn't charge for crap. Swapped it out for a higher quality one, and it worked great.
I might keep my note 3 charger for this. Usually charge quickly.
The G3 comes with a 1.5a charger and takes about an hour and a hlaf from 18% to 100%. Would using a 2a charger cause any damage to the battery or would ut be safe to use?

Should be fine. I've used my 2A Samsung charger on several phones with no problem.

My AT&T G3 came with a 1.8A charger. It's a lot bigger than I expected. Charges my phone in about 2.5 hours.

Tmo variant ships with a 1.8A as well. Not sure what you've got that came with a 1.5A. Charges in about an hour and a half with my longer cable I've got at home and 2A samsung charger I have at home. I don't use the LG one it came with because it's too tall. It's about double the depth of the charger that I currently use and I've got it crammed behind a file cabinet. Also the cable coming off the end of the charger instead of the side is a poor design considering that the charger is already so deep to start with. The charger it came with definitely wouldn't fit back there.

Hi everybody! With the originale charger and cable my G3 has a very, very long charge time. About 4 hours or even more... One morning I found it at 92% after all night (from 00.30 am to 7.00 am).
What do you think it depends on? May I have some hw issues? Now I use another charger (not LG's, about 2a) and it takes about 3 hours...

Yet, there's an Amazon review of the charger specifically praising its speed on the M9, and I see in the general One (M9) Accessories forum that others have found great success with Quick Charge 2.0 capable chargers.
This makes me wonder if VZW has somehow limited charging speeds on this phone. Or have some of you found success with fast charging? If so, what charger are you using?
I use the anker 40w 5 port iq charger, search that on amazon. I could not be more satisifed with how fast my phone charges (considering today's technology of course)

My HTC qc 2.0 works perfect on the m9. Zero to full in about an hour.

Yes, that is a very nice charger, though it is not actually a QC 2.0 charger. I think that is it's normal price too even though it claims to be on sale.
HTC 2.0 QC works great on my m9 got it right from HTC.com
So does the moto one as my wife uses that on her m9
As long as it says Qualcom Quick charge 2.0 on it you should be fine. I can get from 30% to full in a half hour or so. :good:

I bought some decently chunky six footers from mono price. They work fine with my qc 2.0 charger.

I have so many old HTC cables, that's what I've been using (well the one that came with my m8) with my Anker QC2.0 and works very well.

Works perfect..only thing I notice is when I plug it in.phone begins to lag,I swipe screen and it seems touch sensitivity in not responding well. Then I remove charger and sensitivity is back to normal.this happens regardless if charger is plug to wall or not.

Got the Aukey QC on sale for $10 on Amazon...charges 1% every 44 seconds if I leave the phone alone...very impressive (as using a 2A USB port will charge at a very respectable 1 min 20-40 secs per 1%). I still get 1% per 1 min 15 secs if I am streaming music or web surfing....so very satisfied!

Nice! I have the AC one....my car charger one I bought back when I was on my M8...forget the brand but it is pretty good but not as awesome as this one...I like the two ports...One QC and the other a 5v/2.4A one!
I actually purchased the official HTC QC 2.0 adapter and it works great. 10-100 in about 75 minutes. Expensive @ $35 tho...
My Turbo Charger charges my M9 fast. Shows 1hr and 45 min from 10% to full.

5V, 2.1A. It's no rapid charging 18W, but it's pretty quick.
Get any Quick Charge 2.0 charger like this so you can take advantage of it.
A 2.1A charger with a charge-only usb cord is more than sufficient.
Note that if you use the phone for Navigation with Google, (obviously screen on permanently, GPS and data use) a 2.1 A charger will keep it alive, but will struggle to get it to 100%.
I drove for 3.5 hrs yesterday, when I started the battery was at about 50%, at the end of the trip it was up around 90%.

I've read your post the day I bought the same car charger which damaged your phone... I was so scared that I didn't use it until today, now I can confirm that Aukey quick charge 2.0 (model CC-T1) DID NOT damage my Zenfone 2. It works like a charm

This has been my experience with non-QC2 chargers on most recent phones too.
I have the Tenergy QC2.0 car charger, I also now have a dual-QC2-port QC2.0 car charger from SwifTrans - both work great with all of my QC2 devices (that includes the ZF2)
I had a some problem with faulty unit.but Tronsmart rep sent me replacement so now i am so happy with my car charger.super fast and reliable. thx again

LOL. The one on the lock screen disappears when you hit 70-80%. Only the + sign on the batt icon will appear. Also, charging from 80-100% will be slower than 1-79%. That is how Quick Charge 2.0 works.

aukey is good but Tronsmart is the best, work very well, when have a promotions in aliexpress we wins more the price low.
Tronsmart has so many models. I do not need 4 ports though. Which other models would support our phone?

Only the Huawei Quick chargers work. I have a Blitzwolf charger that isn't specifically quick charging, but it charges it fast enough. Also my Chromebook Pixel charger charges the P9 very fast too. USB C is amazing - I love having one charger for both the phone and laptop!!

Neither, it uses Huawei's own Fast Charging protocol. Don't get a Qualcomm QC2.0 or 3.0 charger, they wont fast charge the p9

After testing, an interesting is that, when you use adapter quick charge (9v-2a), there are two thunder symbol appear on battery i/o one when you use original charge.
I am not sure the timing charge will com shoter. I will do some test and let you now.
But one thig you need to know, your p9 gonna be lag when use the quick charge. I am not sure this fault come from my quick charge adapter or because by itself function

It does not lag here, but you need to have in mind that real quick charge kicks in when screen is off. I see wattage difference in my wall tester the charger uses when I use the phone and while it is idling.
