HTC M9 Newbie Out of her League - One (M9) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys. Brand new to the forum. I need your help! I have an M9 that has been sitting around for reasons I forgot... Which I am now reminded of. Prior to replacing the phone I had deleted a photo album and tried to recover it by downloading TWRP. Obviously... That didn't work and I ended up with a completely cleared out phone... Apparently OS included. When I try to boot the phone it is stuck on the HTC screen. When I try to enter recovery mode, Team Win pops up and tells me I have no OS. Please help a girl out. I have no idea what to do! Thanks in advance.

I Need Immediate Help Please!!!!

i was upgrading to that new htc rom using the free cid unlock method.
i kept doing it but i kept getting that vendor id error.
then i ran the bat one more time and the screen on my dash went white.
then i ran the ruu and it was like at 50 percent but i didnt know that it was actually installing so i opened the task manager on my pc and i closed it.
then i rebooted the phone and it just stays in a htc screen.
and i didnt have the htc rom, i had the rogers rom.
so i realized it WAS installing while on the white screen and i shouldnt have cancelled it.
so now idk what to do.
is it bricked?
can someone help me please.
flash it again from the bootloader mode
can you give me threough the process please?
or can anyone help me on how to do this through any instant messenger?
im a noob at this
For future reference "noob's" have no place flashing firmware with uncertified firmware and procedures. One should read up fully on what to do if it fails before going at it.
Just a note

Best bet is to follow the instructions on this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1604439 and then flash recovery through that. Once youve done that install another rom direct from recovery and you should be fine
EDIT: Oh and welcome to XDA!!
Device not found
Hi, thanks for ur reply but it says "error: device not found"

OK try this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1644689 easiest thing is to make sure USB debugging is checked under settings, developer options. Also make sure HTC sync is uninstalled so only the drivers are left.

[Q] Cannot connect One x to PC

Hey all!
I'm a NOOB!...
I have rooted my phone, following some video on YouTube.. All went fine, then a friend told me to install Cmod 9.. Which would not allow me to boot into recovery. Anyway he did something to enable recovery, which has now left my phone in a state where I cannot connect to the computer.. The phone also has nothing on it to recover to, as it was wiped (silly I know). My question is, is there anyway to force connect to my pc, so I can upload a new ROM or am I completely stranded?
I know there are some pros out there and I would love to hear from you

Reflash the recovery.
Then boot into recovery and mount USB storage and you are back to life.

Thanks a lot my friend!
So for anyone else experiencing this problem
First of all I had no back up, I erased everything off of my phone and when physically connected to the pc, my device was not shown..(Unless I left it at the HTC logo, but only here my device would show up in faded grey in 'My Computer', when selected it would say 'device not ready!'
Once following the steps kindly provided above by Jonas2295 (Thank you)
Flash your recovery.
Boot into the boot loader by holding power + volume down button, until it resets into the boot menu.
Select recovery, navigate your way to ..... + Mount (I cannot remember, you will find it though)
Mount USB Storage
I found that my phone would only show up as a valid storage device on my PC when staying in that setting.. So do no navigate away from the 'mount USB Storage' setting once you have enabled it! Until you have transferred your new ROM on board.
I first used Coredroid, but that kept getting stuck at the beats logo. So I tried 'arhd' (Android Revolution HD)..
Once installing it did not look promising, as it staying at the HTC logo for about 5 minutes, then it came into play.
I now have a working HTC again
So thanks to again to Jonas2295 and hopefully by me asking this question, maybe more silly people like me can fix their HTC's
Good Luck!
You are welcome
Glad I could help you out if this situation!
Enjoy your recovered one x.

Please Help!!!

Thanks guys, manged to unlock the screen remotely. everything is working fine and my data is safe wooooooow
Boot to download mode, I think there's a factory reset option in there. I'm going to check right now.
There is. Boot to download instead of recovery and factory reset is the very bottom option.

htc 10 tmobile/metro pcs not loading please help

I was referred here by a member of anriod central. here is the thread I had at android central
**forums.androidcentral.com/htc-10/766030-htc-10-keeps-restarting-please-help.html#post5664874**
ok so I been with htc since the m7, m8, m9, now the ten. I bought it brand new in may. back in august the phone battery ran out and I tried to restart it and it never loaded again; it goes to the htc logo then restarts by itself. when I go into the bootload menu it says "official software s-locked" . I tried to do a wipe or factory reset it wont tho. I can not get into the phone at all. its just restarts over and over. I called htc I tried to do htc dev it didn't work. im really getting frustrated with it. im thinking of beating my anger out on the phone. the phone has a small crack on the screen., so when I called htc they said they'll fix the software along with any physical damage but id have to pay out of my pocket.. is ther any other way of rebooting this phone? I tried to download htc sync manager but my computer will not reconigize my htc because I cant not get it to boot up.
I did not buy the phone from htc. I got it off craigslist but it was brand new in the box never opened. so I don't have the uh oh protection which is stupid..
has someone had this problem and resolved it ? please help thank you

Might be able to get into download mode? Keep holding power + volume down to start the phone.
Edit: Seems from your post that you can. What OS version does it state in download mode? You can try running an RUU for your version.
