Hello
Whenever I try to access the website, after the first complete load, website loads for the second time for no reason.
I'm facing this problem on Chrome for Android as well as Firefox and Chrome for Windows.
It happens on every click onto forum boards.
Thanks

With xda android app or via web browsers on your device ?
if it's with xda app, you must go here => XDA Android App - Problems / Bugs / Feature Requests etc.

It's happening on web browsers for Android (Chrome for Android and Firefox) as well as for desktop (Chrome and Firefox)
Tapatalk and xda app works just fine.
I'm really sorry but I have no explanation about this "strange problem".
I hope someone will read your problem and maybe give you a solution.crossed fingers
What browser are you using? Why?

Chrome
Chrome. I never saw a good enough reason to use anything else.
yubrowser
Opera because it still reflows text like earlier Android browsers (when you zoom, text enlarges but stays inside the edges of display, no sideways scrolling needed) and is reasonably quick.
Chrome, but if i want to save battery, i use the default CM Browser (Gello)
Gallo Mod! (you can find it here on XDA)

Paranoid Browser from official AOSPA, better than Chrome and less battery consumption

APUS browser cause its about 2mb in size and really lightweight. Used to use next browser because I loved its tabbed navigation but they added too much bloat

I used to see them but I haven't seen them in a while
Using RSBrowser because it syncs with chrome and turns the background black on website without affecting photos - good for battery life =)
I'll be sitting at the home screen and ads will pop up and open my chrome browser to the ads page. It will also tell me I have a virus. What is the deal? Please help!
Sorry for posting this in the wrong spot please move!
Might be a rogue app! Uninstall any recent apps, see if it stops
This is an example! I have not downloaded any new apps!

Maybe a newly updated app gone rogue. Rogue app, absolutely no doubt...
100% rogue app. Any music downloader, non playstore movie streaming, or "unknown source" installed apps?

I've had the exact same thing which I seem to have fixed.
Firstly turn off sync on chrome.
On your laptop and any other devices you use chrome on delete your history, cache and cookies.
Delete the same on your phone. Turn sync back on.
You should now be issue free, apparently there is malware that can target cookies so the above should work.
If you only have the issue on WiFi and not 3/4G then you should consider deleting your network settings on your phone found in settings. You may have an infected dns.
Hope this helps.
Pixel 3XL, stock rooted, no weird apps, just normal updates. My phone app keeps stopping and have to force close. Just tried to add number to create contact and app freezes up. Tried to end a call but no end button etc. Anyone else experiencing this? Any idea how to fix? Thanks a lot
Are you using any themes? If so you should check for updates. A few weeks back the My Verizon app was causing some problems with the dialer as well. If you have it, you can try uninstalling it.

Join the beta program and update, or go to apk mirror and install the 64bit no dpi
the ultimate solution will most likely be flashing factory image with wipe.
Thanks, I downloaded the beta....lets see how it performs
Greetings all,
after a long hiatus away... I'm back lurking around XDA ;-P
For a long while I was accessing XDA via Tapatalk app on android.
One day it stopped working, so I stopped coming... I hate using laptop for getting my Forum fix (although, this is how thread is being created).
Anyhow, I've just purchased a sparkly new mobile phone i.e. Asus Rog Phone 3.
So, I'd thought I'd DL the XDA app and get back in the mix.
Issue is when I try and login via app, Chrome and Firefox pop up on bottom of screen!?
I can however browse the forum via app as a guest.
I'm assuming there is an easy fix for this issue, I just cant seem to find it.
Help appreciated and TIA.

The app uses a browser to authorize the login.
There were some problems with Firefox, not sure status of that.
