[Poll] Detailled Battery usage for each ROM.

I just made a Public Google Doc sheet, where we can compare all the ROMs and battery drain to see wich one is working the best.
I hope that this form can be filled seriously and will show some interesting stuff.

You should make it more clear what exactly should be on/off durung the test.
Having anything enabled besides the phone radio will increase the drain.
My experience varies between 0.4%/hour and 2%/hour depending on whether I enable mobile data and autosync or not for example.

Nice idea, but seem that that would be so complicated to present all the datas.
I am thinking that having the average score would be representative. Do you want the right to access the file to modify the form and add some extra informations?

I found today a website which contains all applications for WP7. You can use specific filters like language, price and category. You can also get statistics about WP7 apps. I think it's better than wp7applist because very simple and intuitive. It's easier to find applications.

It looks like clone of this site http://www.monsmartphone.net/marketplace/
I don't like them both because out of date information in WP7 programs descriptions, screen shots.
There is also no information about the date of the application update.
Both http://wp7applist.com/ and http://www.marketplacebrowser.com contains more adequate information about programs, but not good for browsing.
They very good when you want to read info about the particular program.
http://www.appsfuze.com/ also has filters by category, free or paid app.
Good for browsing, but I'm not sure in their statistics info.
Also out of date info related to the applications screen shots.
Wrong text formatting in app description.
Of course, all above IMHO

Please keep discussion threads out of the app release section

I present my point of view, as a developer.
We both have a common goal - give the user the ability to make the right choice by the shortest way.
Currently there are near the 7600 applications on the WP7 marketplace.
Very good, but most of them weak and a great risk WP7 marketplace transformation to the garbage place.
I am disappointed with Microsoft in this regard.
I will not even talk about the lack of moderation of false feedback, about black PR, etc., etc.

Looks good, in WP7 style
Some problem with the text overlapping at the upper right corner.
The main problems:
1. The out of date information in the app description and screen shots.
2. Wrong info about pricing!

Also I can suggest add filter for paid applications too for better browsing.
For example I'm interesting on paid applications only and want to browse them in different category.
(BTW if you check both Free & Trial you will discard ~50% applications)

What kind of problem did you have with the text overlapping ? It works for me with ie, chrome and firefox.

1. Text on the background image overlaps the top banner and right menu block.
See attached screen shots for home window and product window.
I'm using Firefox 3.6.13
2. IMHO download button should be detached from the ads block,
because end user may be confused by the info on that ads.
(this is against google rules related to the ads placement)
Also would be better to make accent on download button by color (light green).
See my other screen shots for product download section and my suggestion with detached button.
3. Price info fixed, but info in the program description and program screen shots still out of date.

2. I don't think it's a problem for Google. The ad is just highlighted but for me there is no confusion. Good idea for the button.

Much better than initial view.
App description has been updated properly.
Good idea with "video" section and clickable links in description.
Some problems still exist:
1. Incorrect screen shots update, see attached images.
a)your screen shots set;
b)original screen shots and their order, as they published on WP7 hub (7 items)
2. And text overlapping looks not good (third image in attachment)
Some words about app submitting logic on the WP7 hub.
When developer submit new application or update app to the new version all published data could be changed.
After publication on the WP7 marketplace developer has the ability to correct price information only for current publication. All other data remain the same.

All images are in your cache browser. You have to clear it to see the actual screenshots. The text overlapping is alse corrected. It's not perfect but it looks better on high resolution

[Discussion] Statistics add-on for WhatsApp

As a java developer and Android enthusiast, I've always wanted to program something for Android. Could never think of anything but I've had a idea as of late and I wanted to hear ideas and feedback and of course interest...
Basically this will be a add-on Xposed module for WhatsApp that will add a statistics menu. Now, some of you might be thinking there already is one. No, this would be per contact based how many messages have you sent, received, etc.
This is pretty easy to obtain and calculate from the WhatsApp database.
But I'd like to add my own stats. Two examples off the top of my head that are currently not in the current statistics menu are how many times have you blocked/unblocked a person (very easy) to how many times have you opened/closed a contacts conversation window (more difficult).
I'd like feedback on people that would be interested in this as users and if anyone wants to help, thank you; I've programmed in Java processionally but have done 2-3 apps in Android and don't hace much experience (more so with the GUI)

That's a nice idea. I would love to have an xposed module showing the stats. Well do try.

1. How many messages sent and received in a group chat -Time duration (24 hours, 1 month, 1 year)
2.stats of private chat (same duration)
That should do for a first build. any help u need like testing or logs, I can help you.

There is already an App called Whatstat. It doesn't work very good and i'm not sure how accurate the infos are. But the stats displayed there are the most interesting and would be nice in your Add-on. Also it would be nice if the stats are not just per number but per contact (if they changed their number and/or you created a new contact for the same person). Good luck and please keep going. I would love to have this add-on.

And.... Could you do something like collecting media data per contact (images & video clips & audio & voice notes) ?
I would like to delete some media files "per contact" since there are mess of files when i am trying to backup my data.

Let it be clear for the record:
This project is NOT dead
I am drawing up sketches on how I would like to design it and integrate it smoothly into WhatsApp and such. Those are in alpha form although there are a couple of members that have seen it and feedback is pretty good.
I still do need development help; Right now I am relying on viewing code from other WhatsApp projects and playing around with that...Not getting much help so its stalled, but not dead.

If I cannot read WhatsApp's database file, I would need to read all the conversations and fill it into a separate customized database. This would take me a bit more time and also performance would not be ideal.

There is a module which let you see the sended and received messages per contact.

Looking for the Huawei AI life apk version number.

Hello everyone. Recently I was trying to remove one of the AI life apps off my Mate 20x and remove the Huawei AI life that had the extra categories. One of the categories was health that featured the Lebooo toothbrush and I believe another category featured a touch lamp. After numerous download attempts of older apks... I can't find the categories. If someone would be kind to look in their AI life and select add the plus sign and see if the category for health is an option please look under settings then about then the version # could you please reply with the number. It would be awesome if you have the APK. Thank you in advance

You can always reset it to factory defaults any baked in apps that you deleted will return.

Just thought I would follow up. by switching the region to UK or China in the AI life app brings up more devices.
