Display colour settings - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Hey guys,
I am looking for some nice colour settings that would work with the sRGB mode and keep the colours accurate. The sRGB mode itself makes the whites bit yellowish/reddish and I don't like that. I am using EXkernel manager. Thanks and have a nice day

i got the optimal settings
go to display & led -> livedisplay -> profile -> set this to photo
then to calibration -> set this to red 95%, green 93 % and blue 100 %
These are the best...

I guess a little google search helped me.. Battery saving auto brightness settings
Light Levels -> Edit other levels
Screen:
5 <<-- Depending on your voodoo color settings.. I currently have voodoo set so I don't experience green/beige screen. Doesn't look good as marcusant settings but hey, I save battery.

[Q] How many color can you get from the LED notification light?

Is the LED only capable of showing red..green and blue? I can't seem to customize the colors I want via 3rd party apps like lightflow.

I also am inquiring about this question, any answers so far?
I would like to know this too. I just assumed it was RGB but if that isn't the case...
Grab this app and try it yourselves:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coolbeans.ledtester
I get all types of RGB mixes.
This app isnt working for me. I chose a colour, then tap on test and turn screen off, but nothin happens with the led...

Check Settings > Screen > LED Notifications > Other apps (the item at the bottom of the list).
You can change or without an app it has 6-7 colors, red green blue, purple, ponk , turquoise etc.. You can edit a contact and change their color when you get a text or call.

Also check accessibility options too.
I am also interested in using third party apps like xblast to provide custom third party notification led lighting so does this phone work with any such apps as it's not clear from the above replies please?

The LED can show every colour, not only red, green and blue. You can test it in the hidden menu(in the phone type 3845#*855#),going in HW test and then in touch LED test.

inverted ambient mode?

Can we invert the color of just the ambient mode? Since we have LCD screen white should use least energy than black. Also it is easier to see the time during the day.
If you go to setting -> accessibility -> color inversion. Now it is very easy to see the time in ambient mode. But everything else is inverted too.
Any ideas??
I've heard black uses the least, that's why they say to use a black background to save battery.

battery saving might not be that much. but I do like to inverted ambient mode look better. anyway to archive that?

Multicolor Notifications

Hi geeks!
Does anyone knows an app that allows to apply a multicolor notification for a specific app... For example when i receive a message from whatsapp my LED color will change automatically the color for an example will fase?
There is an app that permits that but only for test: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coolbeans.ledtester
Light Flow on the play store
How?
Spend more than five minutes on this app ? ^^
i'm joking but you should do that !
in Light Flow = Menu, notification settings, add a app, touch the app logo you want to configure, slide right and left for differents sections, there is one for the led with color, speed of blinking and so on
I saw that there is the possibility to change the color LED but not multicolor

how to tune the color balance on sRGB mod?

Yeah I m also looking for that it's not available in stock ROM may be a custom ROM could have this enabled

sRGB is the accurate representation of the colors, tuning it will defeat the purpose of using it. If you want the freedom to tune temperature of screen colors, you can always switch off the sRGB mode.
Tip: Use sRGB mode for a few days, you will get used to it.
You can use Light Manager (Pro) from the app store if it bothers you. The app is surprisingly effective at changing screen tint but I agree with what has been said; stick with sRGB for a while and you most likely won't want to go back to the stock 'neon' look.
U can install a custom kernel like bluesparks or elementalx which have kcal which will let u modify too ur liking, u need to be rooted and have trwp

I use kernel toolkit
I agree, sRGB mode is a bit too yellow...
Mine shows a very dark red. What to do? in general all colors seem much darker than they should be.
Light manger pro seems to be a program to change the led color?
i got the optimal settings
go to display & led -> livedisplay -> profile -> set this to photo
then to calibration -> set this to red 95%, green 93 % and blue 100 %
These are the best settings for me and i see no yellowish anymore
