No Wifi connection possible - Grey button in menu - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
I suddenly had a Problem with my phone after unlocking my Screen, that wifi was lost.
I had a look into menu and saw, that the wifi button is greyed out. I have never seen this before. Also when I activate wifi, the button becomes turquoise, but is still sluggish. Some seconds later wifi disables automatically.
My phone doesnt find any wifi anymore! equal if i am on work, at home or anywhere else.
This happend on fulmics 5.2. I did a complete factory reset and tested 5.1. again and 6.0. but nothings helps.
It once said "unfortunaely wifi had to be cancelled"... Do I have to replace any System apk..?
Please let me have your solution.
Is my wifi chip broken?
Pictures are attached...
Thanks in advance !

Please find the screenshots attached..

Wifi Power Saving

Afternoon all,
I`ve been using the sip client in WM6 thanks to you guys but have a slight problem.
Everytime the screen turns off so does the wifi, which looses connection, therefore incoming SIP calls dont get picked up. Anyone know how to disable this? i cant see a setting anywhere so i assume its a registry setting?
Cheers Andy
I dont think there is a way to make wifi act that way. U could set power settings to never turn off and just turn off screen, but tht would mean RIP battery in no time i suppose. Am i wrong?

No Connection when Screen off.

Hello,
i have readed a much and i dont find another one who have this anoying error:
Every time i go into sleep by pressing the power button all my data connection is lost ...... only wlan is working, for example when i take a call and the phone comes to my ear and the screen turns off because of the proximity sensor the connection lost and the call end -.-
How to solve this problem?
Im am waiting for a RUU with Hboot 0.80 from 02 Germany to send it back to o2, because my phone is bricked -.- the only things that are not working is this error and the usb connectivity........
I flashed the testimage of the Modaco Root process so i dont have superuser.apk but root acess .... EVERY app has root acess now... this is ****ing fail...!!
Hope u understand me and help me.
Did you install Juicedefender or something?
No only a few apps because i have no apps2sd.... i testet it without apps, too.
Same problem here.
When the display turns off , soon after WLAN is disabled. Happens with Sipdroid, last.fm musicplayer and FritzFon App. This is inconvenient since i cant make calls over VoIP because when the proximity sensor turns the screen off the wlan connection is lost and the call ends.
Have you checked the WiFi sleep policy?
When you are in the WiFI settings menu, press the Menu button again and then select "Advanced". You can then change the WiFi sleep policy to "Never".
Regards,
Dave
Yes it was at never and i switsched to both other aviable things and nothing changed ....-.-
No answer´s? =(
I've the same problem. If I'm downloading an app from market and then I switch off the display the download remains freezed.
The advanced wifi option is set to "never"
No my wifi connection dont lost all the others !?

[Q] Wifi staying on when screen turns off.

HI forumers
can you suggest any help?
When I have my device screen turned off, my wifi stays connected. So in the middle of the night, emails will sting "ping" out a sound.
I have selected in the settings to turn off Wifi when in sleep, and when i close my case cover, but it just doesnt.. Any ideas?
Thanks
Yeah that doesnt work for me either. I would try setting a wifi timer in wifi, adavanced settings and pick a time where you want wifi to be on during certain times of the day. Hope this helps!
Really?! not just me then? I was wondering if maybe a downloaded app is making this error happen.
Can anyone confirm that it does work for them?
Guys, Have you tried to untick "always autorized localisation search" in the advanced parameter of the wifi ?
Hope it could help.
Good idea, but I've just tried this and it didnt fix the problem..
Anyone else?
Or maybe someone knows an app that can do this?

HTC ONE M8 bluetooth wont turn on (Android 6.0)

Hi,
recently I started to use bluetooth because I bought a smart watch which requires bluetooth for smart notifications, ... Its been working great, until one day. Every time I didnt use smartwatch, I turned bluetooth off. And one day I tapped the icon to turn it on, and the bluetooth icon stayed pressed for a 5-6 seconds and then it went back white which means, it did not turn on. I tried everything, reboot, safe mod, recovery mode, force stop, ... Nothing worked. Then I did factory reset, which changed everything and bluetooth started to work again, but not for very long. After 2 days, exactly same thing happend and I have no idea what to do. Im pretty sure its a software problem, but no idea how to solve it. Please any ideas??
Thanks a lot.

Found this on another forum... I had the same problem and it got solved by following this.
What you need to do is clear the Bluetooth Share app cache and data, then perform a Network Settings Reset. I'd recommend doing it in that specific order.
First, open App Manager from Settings menu. Then use the three vertical dots on the top right to open the options. Select "Show System". Scroll to the Bluetooth Share app, and open up it's settings. Tap Storage. Tap Clear Cache, wait a moment, the cache will clear to 12.00KB. Now tap Clear Data.
Next, open the main Android settings again. Go to Backup & Reset, then Network Settings Reset. Tap Reset Settings and enter pin, if prompted. Tap Reset Settings one more time.
After that completes, which should be fairly instantly, try to turn on your Bluetooth. It should turn on! Yahoo! Let me know if this works for you!
Thanks to the original poster (I cannot post links here).

Wifi turning itself off

I have what looks like a slight variation on a theme reported by others....I often find that wifi has turned itself off (i.e. the wifi quick settings icon is greyed out). When I tap on the icon to turn it back on it flashes a couple of times, turns on, then turns off again after a couple of seconds. This can happen 10-12 times before it finally stays on.
Android 6.0, V20g-234-15, Build No MRA58K.
Anyone else have this problem?
Lg g4 wifi toggles
I had the same problems myself where wifi kept turning itself off as well as bluetooth. Somehow i have fixed it. Hopefully it will work for you!
1. Go on to dialer
2. Type this code *#546368#*815# in
3. You will enter the secret menu
4. Then click on Field Test
5. Scroll down to wifi test and click on it
6. Then select OTA settings and press enable.
7. Now test wifi
I am not responsible if your phone breaks or something etc.
I really hope it works for you but I can not guarantee it. Let me know if it works for you!:good:
You can try this for other models but i am unsure whether it will work.
Find code here:
It is *#546368#*MODELNUMBER#
So for the international version it is *#546368#*815#
For the Dual sim version it is *#546368#*818#
I assume for the NA version it is *#546368#*811#
