Android Market - 2 phones 1 account ?

Sorry for the nooby question, im new to android.
If i have 2 android phones, can i setup 1 google account and install the apps i purchase on both phones or can you only install them on 1 phone ?

You can install ur payed apps on both phones as long as you use the same google account

I have 8 Android devices at home with the same Google account ( for developping).
All work fine.

For the most part, that is true.
However, some apps (e.g. Copilot) have separate activation, and will only allow you to install on one device.

True. But on the other hand most apps remain installed and work just fine even after you change your gmail login account

speaking of the Android Market dose anyone know when the new iteration shown at the Google I/O will be released?

Using apps on 2 same-account androids
I have an Android phone, and recently got a tablet, and wanted to install the apps I purchased on the tablet as well. I have the g-mail account info set up the same on both devices. When I go to the Marketplace and try to download the application I have on my android phone, I am only given the wonderful opportunity to buy the program again.
I contacted the developer, who told me that I would indeed have to buy it again to use it on a different device.
? am I doing something wrong here? I don't want to have to re-purchase apps which I already own on 1 device...

there are APK's around for 2.2.6 if you mean that one

[Q] Installing apps without Windows Live account/access to Marketplace

Hi,
As per title. Is there anyway to install apps without accessing and downloading them from the Marketplace? All I need is an PDF reader that I can install on multiple devices and was looking to see if there is a simpler solution.

Installation of applications must be done through the Marketplace, and access to the Marketplace requires a Windows Live ID.
So at the moment, this is the only solution.

So I guess I just set up one generic Windows Live ID for the devices. Would there be any issues with this?

Yes, I've read that the first Live ID is also used with other Apps. The next ID can be used too but only for certain Apps.

Reading it back it's very cryptic You need to investigate this more..

Only the primary Windows Live ID is used for Marketplace downloads and purchases. So whichever Live ID you sync first, that will be the one where your downloads and purchases will be linked to.
Additional Live IDs only sync Email, Calendar, and Contacts. Primary is used for everything else (Xbox, Zune, Marketplace, etc.).

does anybody know if there is an Android app that is able to open an Outlook 2007 .pst-file?
I use easy2sync to synchronize various .pst-files and would like to open my .pst-file on my SGS.

Aren't there any solution?
There are a lot of tablets available on the market today... but there are no simple ways to use them for us which use a lot of M$ apps like Outlook.
Regarding in particular outlook I know the alternative is to use IMAP but due to connectivity problems that's not always the best way to work.
Any other suggestion?

Are you sure it can open and let you work on a pst?
I can't find how it works.

I installed polaris, but I am not able to open any pst file...
Any other solution?

PST Reader and OlMail Reader... but not really useful
PST Reader
There is PST Reader, but it does not work correctly. I have an exported PST from Outlook 2007 and use this app on my Samsung Galaxy SIII
Search for PST Reader in Google Play - sorry I cant post links because I don't have 10 post already :-|
Also there exists OlMail Reader
I bought the full version for about 5$ but it's also crap. It shows me all Emails unsorted in a huge list which is absolutely useless.

I still can't believe that there is no SW for Android that works well with M$ products. No official stable free Outlook Sync app, no bug-free usable Outlook PST Viewer/Reader.... that's sad

There is an app called ViewIT by Gaduha Technologies which can open pst files. Please search on playstore for it.
There is also a lite version (which has restrictions) which you can check before buying the paid one.

There is an app called Viewit by Gaduha technologies which helps read pst files on sdcard.

Adobe® Reader® back to v. 9.0.0.0 on the Store

What happened to the new update to the Adobe® Reader® app?
It was supposed to go from v.10.1.0.0 to something like 10.1.1.0 but a few hours ago it reverted back to v.9, on my phone and also on the website versione of the Store.
Is it a bug on the store itself or did Adobe do something?

there are no old links to an app in the marketplace.
both on my phone and on the web it is the old version.
Btw on the web even when I'm no logged in it appears the v.9

On french Market Adobe Reader 10.1.1 build 20120919.

Got update notification for Adobe Reader today.
Now its updated to Version 10.1.1 Build 20120919.

Still seeing v9.0.0.0.

why the different icon of the app?
a friend of mine has updated to 10.1.1.0 via the marketplace but it has the old (and common) adobe's icon

So I repacked the xap with the old Adobe Reader's icon.

What about the People widget from past HTC phones? I had found one that worked on the U11 until the most recent OTA update. Why did sense do away with that it was so handy for quick calls

Good...then I can delete my dropbox file link. I know there are a ton of these gallery apps, and as the earlier poster said it is not integratable with the camera. Why they get worse with future releases instead of better all so Google can scan our photos for buyer behavior and genetic factoids.

Its all good was just letting you know. That is the issue, HTC is slowly going all Goggle Apps. A few I like, a few get deleted right away, Messages, Google Music, Movies & TV, Docs, Slides, Sheets and Keep, I don't use that crap, lol

Don't use Google Music either but I find the play store has pretty good availability of some rare albums. If one buys an album there it goes in google music first. Only way cash and carry people can order stuff these days.
2. It is worth mentioning i have just found a solution to the awful white lock screen Android N style music title noodlefication...
