All screen lock in CH Play usable but when unlock, my note 7 only use PIN way.

There must be Something in administrative settings forcing it. With my work email, it forces the long password ( 8+ character capital lowercase numbers and symbols required ) due to the work policies. Maybe its something similar?

Zui locker
Any luck anyone finding a working screen off bypassing the pincode? I've tried alot already but none is working properly..
Disable your lock screen in strings and use a third party app. You won't be able to unlock with the iris scanner but the fingerprint scanner works fine with cm locker, zui locker and others. If you can't disable your lock screen due to rules in place on your device. Remove the email account that enforced the rule, disable your lockscreen and setup the third party app, then re-add the email account.

My rom is stock and unrooted... Can u show me how to do it? I need to remove my samsung email, gmail or stock email account?
I tried the steps by disabling my lockscreen and remove my samsung account.. Then download a screen off app store then set up the fingerprint and samsung account email again but it's still not working..

allows me to kill a selected list of apps/services with a single click. I'm currently on CM 10.1 preview and enjoy the hold back to kill app function. I wish this was on a Sammy rom. I read all these messages about us not needing to manage apps but the truth is too many apps leave behind services without giving you the option to turn them off. Dice with Buddies has a "push" service. ChompSMS has a "billing" service. Scramble with Friends has a push service. Red Laser has 2 services and the latest facebook setup 5(!) services.
If I could put an app or widget on my home screen that allowed me to specify a set of apps then when I'm done with one of those apps I could just hit my home button and then tap that app icon to have it kill any of those apps/services that might be running.
You guys know of any such thing?
Is there a way to remove the enable/disable option for system apps under Settings>Applications?
I'm using App Lock and that option is a security liability because you easily disable the service. I made it a system app precisely because I don't want it to get un-installed but this function kind of defeats the whole purpose of the app.
A workaround would be to password protect the Settings app with App Lock, but I don't wanna do that because I open settings frequently, I don't feel like inputing a password every time I open it.
Anyone know of an app that can monitor and log all actions on the phone i.e.: hard or soft key presses, apps opened, unlock and locking of phone, files deleted? There's a no phone policy at work and I don't exactly trust my locker to be a safe place for my phone even with a security lock on it. All I've found on the play store are either ip sniffers or data loggers and superuser only logs apps that request root.
Hmmm, do you have root? You could use the catlog app but that's a whole lot of everything. I think you want a keylogger of sorts but I haven't really seen one for android. I use smart app protector and it can take pics and video of failed unlocks and successful attempts as well plus lock down every single app.

Thanks but still want to use the app...I want to password protect it but when I use Lockdown Pro and enable the switch to password protect a certain app, it opens regardless with no prompt for password. This happens on every lock app I have tried on 5.1.
I'm using Yahoo Mail for my Yahoo account but each time I try to allow Yahoo Mail to access my contacts, I get the following error message:
Screen overlay detected.
To change this permission setting, you first have to turn off the screen overlay from Settings > Apps. I did just that in the Settings > Apps screen but it keeps re-enabling itself! Is this a bug or what? I can't change any of my permission settings for any of my other apps either.

It isn't a bug, but it is a confusing message, which some might consider sub-optimal.
You need to go into
settings->apps->gear icon->draw over other apps
and look for every app that says "Yes"
For any app that isn't from Google, write the app name on a piece of paper, tap on the app name, and then disable "Permit drawing over other apps"
Then go back and run your mail app and you'll be able to accept the permissions it is requesting.
Then go back to
settings->apps->gear icon->draw over other apps
take the list of apps you earlier disabled this permission for, and enable it again, if you feel it is appropriate.
The reason it is happening is because you have an app running that is currently overlaying stuff on your screen. Google can't tell if that is a legitimate app or it is a malicious app trying to gets you to click on other things or stealing your keystrokes.
Before, they just never warned about it. Starting with June update, there was a bug where you couldn't press accept for permissions, only deny.
In July security update, they changed that to give you a warning that there is a screen overlay running and they can't continue.
IMO it is still confusing to the end-user.
I think I found the culprit. It was Omni Swipe causing it to pop up.
This thing is so freaking annoying. I've switched to "no" every single app (including system ones), whatsapp web qrcode scanning feature asking for additionnal camera feature gets stuck with this damn overlay thing.
