Alphabetizing the app drawer - Note 7 Questions & Answers

Hello everyone this is my first thread so I hope I'm posting it in the correct forum. I know how to alphabetize/sort the apps in the app drawer but then I put them into folders and now I'm having issues. I can alphabetize/sort the folders but I can't figure out how to sort the apps inside of the folders besides doing it manually. It's either got to be something really stupid that I'm overlooking or there just isn't any way besides doing it manually. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the only way to do it is manually. It would be something like App drawer -> 3 dots -> Edit -> Click folder -> Move around

Thanks for replying. I've already figured how to sort manually. I was just hoping that there was a way to automatically do it like you can if the apps aren't in folders. I understand that Samsung wants to make it easy for someone to personalize their own phone but I still think they should offer the option to alphabetize inside of folders as well

Unfortunately that does not alphabetically sort the apps that are inside of folders. It will only alphabetize the apps that are not in folders and the folders themselves, but not what's in the folder

Extract the current wallpaper how to?

Hi there, here's my problem:
My desire had a funny turn and corrupted the sd card loosing all the photos from my honeymoon and first holiday with my wife (before I could back them up). After many attempts it seems impossible to recover them however one of my favorite photos is set as my background saving it (backgrounds are saved on the internal memory.
The question is "is there a easy way to extract my wallpaper without going root as the directory doesn't seem to be accessable."

Well, this might not be a perfect solution, but you can clear your homescreen of all the icons/widgets and take a screenshot by enabling USB debugginfg on your phone and capture the screen via android sdk. I assume you know how to do it.
This will give you a low-resolution version of the photo. You can have it as the worst case if you are not able to recover it in any other way.
Thanks for the suggestion, its an definite option. Its frustrating that I know the location just can't access it!

Just another solution
There is an app called ' wallpaper set and save' free from market. Using it you can extract the current wallpaper and it will be saved in full resolution in a folder called wallpapers.

I'm not sure if this will solve it but its a worth a try. Go to settings/apps or app manager then scroll to ALL and then open settings and clear data and cache. And try again. This might wipe your setups.

hello guys,
am playing a bit with tasker, and I ended up making this application, I found very useful, clean my screen with one click, and with another click, the more I use in my screen ..
Is not totally ready, I'm looking for help, and also ideas, as you want to help someone, you are welcome, I'm not a developer, I know very little programming, so I think this idea in the hands of a developer, and new ideas that can be great ....
some screens:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Observations:
this app was done on a 4.2 rom (Paranoid), so do not expect everything to work if your rom is different .. (but most works).
Install the app, this need plugins, download them:
Overlays: The best app of 2013 for me, very helpful, still in development, some disappearances of widgets to add, try again if this happens .. (always place the widget first portait, then in landscape).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39784494 --thanks the dev for nice app!!
this no longer in google play, so I'm providing here to download
Locale execute Plug-in

For the widgets appear in the app, you should make them with the same names cited here: (Overlay).

Enable R/W
Go to /etc/permissions
Edit platform.xml as the bottom of the picture (add "media_rw" line).

This is the only way it should be done.
Thanks all for the suggestions - I tried the geeksoft apk and it did the trick. Actually, the first one I tried probably worked also, but the app I was using wouldn't work (iTag)...but i switched to another (Mp3Edit) and that worked like a charm!
Incidentally, I opened that permission xml file to look at any changes, and it appears the line was added just as it should.
Thanks again!

Note 7 Secure Folder heavy user

I'm a secure folder heavy user. I got a few apps duplicated with my dual sim phone, that way I keep things separate, work and personal. How to get this on another phone?
I don't want to give up my Note 7!
I'd like the know the same thing. As a first time Samsung owner, that feature was very nice for a number of reasons. Any third party options to add this type of functionality to another phone?
Problem with secure folder is that you can't copy stuff back out of it!

Maybe it changed in the last update, but when I tried it,I put a video in there and wasn't able to copy it back out (when I found the Occulus player didn't support opening from secure folders- bummer). A quick bit of research at that point suggested this was the intention of secure folder to not allow security compromise of copying back out of it? Perhaps you can "un"secure it?
Edit: ok just tried again, and if you go into gallery inside the secure folder, there is an option to move out, yay. Didn't spot this option previously.
From video player-
