Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a case that would hold the Xoom while also holding stuff like a pen or two, a small notepad, and some business cards.
I would be using the Xoom at the office for work and stuff so I need a kind of folio case that would hold those things along with the Xoom.
I'm looking for something like the following items:
- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846 (this case looks like it would work best, but it's made for iPad specifically. do you think the Xoom would fit okay?)
The closest I've found for the Xoom specifically is this:
http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Xoom...TF8&coliid=I3ANDC09VLZQHO&colid=2AUBBS7RLVML5
I was just hoping to find something a bit more focused than that though as far as physical document storage, seeing as the Xoom would not be used exclusively for note-taking and such quite yet.
Anyway, do any of you know of a case like those that is made more specifically for the Xoom?
I'm a happy booqbags customer, here's something I'd like to see for the Xoom:

I am also waiting for a case like this, best with a built-in bluetooth keyboard. Until then I bought a netbook carrying case:
Targus 10.2 netbook case
I tried to slip the Xoom in at a local best buy and it fitted perfectly. There's also plenty of space for accessories.

OOooooh! That is a nice concept! But I don't like the zipper style too much. Reminds me too much of my childhood when I kept my table tennis rackets in those zipper bags But the idea with the separate Xoom skin is sweet!

Thanks for the link, I think I'm going to pick that up and just slap some Velcro stickers on the back of my xoom rather than use that inner case. Ill post pics when i get it.
The power of search...
So I'm still looking for some type of case for the Xoom that will also hold documents and possibly a few business cards and a pen.
Anyone found anything like that?
My rooCASE finally arrived today in the mail and thought I would put up some initial impressions.
First, I bought it on Amazon from PC Microstore for $34.95 + 8.70 for shipping. I waited for weeks for the black version to become available but after 2 delays, I got lucky with the graphite being in stock.
Impressions:
Case
The case is very well made, nice gray leather with a strong metal zipper. Front and back are hard and provide good protection. The back has a collapsible kickstand thats sits pretty flush with the case and secures via a strong magnet. The interior is felt lined with two smaller pockets on the inside that would fit something like a 3x5 notecard. The larger will fit something the size of the Xoom.
Cover
Same nice leather as the case. There are cutouts for everything; dock, Sim/SD(tight fit), volume rocker, cameras speaker, etc. The back has two circular velcro pieces for attaching to the inside of the case for both portrait and landscape view. The Xoom slides through the bottom of the case and secures with velcro on the inside of the cover itself, no flaps are exposed.
The Xoom with the cover fits like a glove inside the case, zero sliding around.
Overall I am impressed with the build quality and there is no comparison to the CaseCrown I own.
I checked Amazon and it is showing May 6th as an in stock date. I suggest checking daily as that's how I got mine, pure luck
I've been looking for a case and this is the one I've decided on getting... just gotta wait for it to be back in stock.
Thanks for the review!
Nice pictures, thanks. The actual PCMicroStore.com has them in stock, black and grey, for same price if anyone is looking. I'm still debating between this and Otterbox. The pockets would be nice for some paper and a stylus though.

Beat me to the review! I also got my Black rooCase in yesterday and it fits like a glove. Everything is tight and all ports, speakers, buttons are accessible. Quality seems really good.

They must have recently got them in as I checked right before purchasing from Amazon. The case serves its purpose for my needs and having something that keeps it protected during usage while storing it after is a win, win in my book.

Amazon is now showing May 3rd. I was going to order one, but then I saw this thread:
Coming Soon - Official Keyboard Folio Case
I'll probably be waiting for this case+keyboard instead. The rooCase looks awesome though.
Purchased the case thru Amazon... picked standard shipping, which said 3-8 days, and it took all 8 of those days. I'm not cheap...I just thought maybe I'd be on the closer to the 3 days then the 8... I guess they really did put it on a pony.
Anyway... it's very nice. The Xoom fits nice and snug and it's very professional looking. I'm happy with it.... place to keep a couple of my biz cards, a few notes, pen, etc. Definitively worth the money.
Just got this case in the mail yesterday. What a thing of beauty it is. Definitely worth checking out, but it is a bit more expensive than most other cases you can find. The fit is just perfect, the construction amazingly strong. Looks exactly like a Moleskine notebook.

Just curious what would make this one worth the extra over the dodo case? It looks fairly similar but more expensive.
Looks like this one is leather. Too bad I already have a dodo on order. The looks nice.

It is similar to the Dodo case, but is italian leather, instead of cloth. Also, the frame is Baltic Birch, instead of bamboo. So, the materials are of a higher quality than the Dodo case.
Hi everyone,
I've been really interested to get http://buy.thegameklip.com/ but it is really not practical for me to spend money for it plus the shipping that would take more than two weeks...so I made my own
Here are the materials I used, mostly found at home:
1. Super glue
2. Jelly Case (mine is for Note)
3. Binder Clip (Large with tension wires removed)
4. Velcro strap
5. Some leather sheets glued to the binder clip to avoid scratches
6. Piece of hard plastic sheet to where the jelly case will be attached
I was not able to take shots of the procedure since it was just an attempt and I was not sure where it would lead me :silly:
Anyway, I hope you'll like it Cheers!
Looks good!
I´m thinking to do make my DIY Gameklip with this car phone holder: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221250415920
But your project give me a idea for the base! I can use velcro to fix it to the joystick!
Yep! It took me a while deciding on how I would hold the jellycase to the controller. Glad I found some velcro straps at home. Good luck to your project

Hope you like, I got all these recently and thought i should make videos for fun.
Got other stuff to review - a case from Cruzerlite for example!
Plus OTG cables which were amazingly useful
