Youtube app problem on Android 6 - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am new. Running on HTC ONE M8 Android revolution HD marshmallow rom. YouTube app was working fine suddenly I cannot even access anything on YouTube. When opened it says "an error occurred" and a "retry button" tried deleting app cache and data, re-installing, clearing dalvik cache via recovery and also tried OG YouTube app (modded third party version of it) and uninstalling google play services updates but does not work unless I use an older version of YouTube(4.x.x) which I do not like. Help......will post screenshot when I figure how this works

Bump

Try redo clean ROM install again or test with different ROM

Error 110 when updating apps in the market.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a fix for this problem (note that I HAVE searched). When I try to update an app in the market I get "Unknown error during application install "-110""

Problem fixed, for future reference, if you have this problem in the future just go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Market> the hit Uninstall updates, clear cache and clear data (although clear data isn't really necessary it's just suggested).
I'm having the same problem, had to uninstall facebook because it keep syncing and wouldn't stop. So it would drain my battery really quick.
I used Rom Toolbox to remove HTCFacebook from the photo and tried installing facebook from the market and I got the 110 error message then tried installing it again and it installed but won't run.
IDK if this has something so do with Energy SensationXL Sense 3.5 Rom I have installed.
Your best bet is to clear cache and data from market app then restart phone. If that doesnt work you can reflash the same rom you have and repeat above mentioned proccess then see if it works

[Q] 4.4.1 GE rom app install problem

I have recently installed the GE 4.4.1 rom. Everything has performed better than I anticipated until today. I can now download apps from Google play but I can no longer install them. After the download is complete, the app lingers indefinitely on "installing". When I check the status of the app after a reboot, it still says installing but never does. Any ideas? Thank you for your time and support.

Fixed : Cleared Google Play app data, reboot, worked like a charm.
Try clearing the Google Play store application cache.

Can't install Wi-Fi apps

I've been having this problem for about a week now. When I try to install an app that requires Wi-Fi I'm unable to install it on Wi-Fi or mobile data. It started when I flashed the inverted play store. So I wiped everything and installed insertcoin 1.6.0 and even like that I'm still getting the problem. I already tried uninstalling updates to the play store and clearing cache and data but still nothing. I can install any other app except if it requires Wi-Fi it'll give me error 963. Anybody else had this before. I was reading on the M8 forums that some of them have run into this problem but they just cleared data or uninstalled updates to play store and it worked for them
Here's another screenshot. Don't know how to fix this
After uninstalling updates and clearing the cache, did you try completely removing the Play Store from your device and then reinstalling? If you don't have the option to uninstall, you can use Titanium Backup. To reinstall, you can get the apk from here:

Play Store doesn't install anything

Hello everybody,
I was on Fulmics 6.1 and everything was fine. Then I updated to Fulmics 6.6 and the Play Store did not manage to download any app. I tried to go back to Fulmics 6.0, I wiped everything, tried to delete the play store cache and data but the problem seems to persist...
are you getting any error? could be an issue with your wifi connection.. have you tried using your mobile data connection?
I have performed several tries in meanwhile...
Some apps get downloaded, but others won't. It doesn't really seems to be related to the size of the app.
Sometimes the error 495 appears. I have tried to disinstall the play store updates, delete the data and cache, and so for the download manager and google play services. The problem appears even on mobile phone data.
I'm using Aptoide to replace the Play Store but it isn't really the best solution
are you having the same issue with the fulmics 5 and cm13 too?

No, I haven't tried Fulmics 5, only 6.0, nor CM13 (I don't wanna change the baseband, I could make more damages D: )
I have tried using another wifi and some apps that I couldn't download on my wifi got downloaded, but there are still apps that can't be downloaded in any way...Everytime appears the 495 error that I can't resolve with the usual fixes...

Youtube Video Stuttering and Google Play store freeze on App Installation on 3.5.5

Hey Guys,
I am using the 3.5.5 build with 3.2.7 fw.
Everything is working fine except youtube videos keep stuttering. I tried changing resolutions (144p to 1080p) but nothing worked.
Also play store freezes when apps are getting updated/installed followed by SystemUI getting restarted.
is anyone facing the same issue?
im rooted and have xposed

Before posting any issues pertaining to software like fcs, lag or stuttering first do a clean install and see if everything works fine without the mods, then once you've ascertained the stability of a clean rom install one mod at a time to find issue causing mod.
If that appears to be a job too cumbersome then do the following
Xposed is major cause of such issues uninstall one module at a time and see if the issue is resolved.
Don't flash fw of one rom over other you never know how your rom and mod setup will behave to the new firmware.
Sometimes a restoring data of apps through Titanium backup could cause such issue try restoring the app alone then the data of apps you deem to be very essential.
The best way is to wipe your data clean and not install unnecessary mods.
Clear Cache
Try this for the play store:
1. disable (settings)
2. clear cache
3. show system apps (back in setting app menu)
4. disable and clear cache of google services framework
5. reboot
6. re-enable play services
I had a similar issue were I could not update apps via playstore and could not download any files on my device.
Additionally, google photos and the camera app closed themselves immediately.
Clearing app data for Download-Manager and Downloads followed by a restart fixed it for me.
