How do I connect to samsung Level U bluetooth headset? - Huawei Watch

I want to connect Huawei watch to my Samsung level U bluetooth headset. I don't want to carry my phone when I go for a walk or Jogging so I want to connect my watch to a Bluetooth headset. Is this possible?
I tried searching for bluetooth devices but my level u does not show up on the watch for it to connect. I have tried different methods but it just won't show up in the watch bluetooth list. Need some help please.

You should be able to pair the Samsung Level U headset with your watch by doing the following:
Power on Level U while holding the Multifunction/Talk button for about 5 seconds. You should see the LED alternating between blue and red.
On the watch, go to Settings>Bluetooth>Devices.
Assuming the Level U is still flashing blue and red, you should see it appear in the list of devices. Select it.
At this point, the Level U headset should be paired with the watch and ready for use. This worked for my Level U and Huawei Watch.

Need bluetooth help badly!~

Please help me out I'm incredibly frustrated with this thing. I recently got the PDA2k and installed WM05 on it. It looks very nice and it runs speedy with no problems. My problem is the bluetooth which is huge thing to me. Either my headset (Tekkeon Eztalker Mini) is not compatible which I doubt or I'm making a stupid mistake.
This is what I did step by step: I click on the bluetooth icon and turn on the bluetooth, I then put my headset in pairing mode and the imate is able to recognize it and I enter the Pw and I put Set as handsfree. That's it, I would think I would be done at this point yet nothing happens, the headset doesn't do anything and I know its not Tekkeons fault because I was able to hook it up easily with my HP 6315.
So what's going what am I missing?
Also theres a tab at the bottom called "Com Ports" but I only see under this option "Incoming Port", and the description at the top says there should be another option called "New outgoing port". Does this have anything to do with it?
What Am i doing wrong? It's driving me crazy I can't really use the phone without the headset.
help me out pls
Bluetooth
I know the feeling, i have gone back to 2003 cause of that but now i am back on wm5. The bluetooth issue is not fixed yet, it is not stable, it keeps going off. There is a suspend cab file, but it does not work for me yet, also try pokect zen beta. You might get a longer period of bluetooth
thanks for responding, but the problem is not that it suspends or stops working. It doesn't start working at all even though the imate detects it. It's like it's not connected at all, not that it disconnects. I'm doing something wrong I just don't know what.
The bluetooth piece is not faulty and the unit is practically brand new. whats going on?
I used "Display Switch" binded button (From Wisbar Advance 2) or "Toggle Screen" (From SPB Pocket Plus) to turn off the backlight instead of using power button .
This work around will keep bt connection alive.
Note:
1. If you suspend your BA using psShutXP your bt connection .
2. You have to disable auto turn off device under Start -> Setting -> Power
Note:
1. If you suspend your BA using psShutXP your bt connection will be disconnected.
I'm sorry I'm not sure I'm explaining myself correctly. I understand that if the power goes off I will lose the BT connection but the problem is not KEEPING the connection alive, the problem is MAKING the connection. I follow all the steps , the imate recognized the headset but I'm not able to use it..also shouldn't a headset picture show up at the top of the screen when the bt headset is connected (cuz mine doesnt). what am i doing wrong?
thanks.
still need help please.. if someone can walk me through how to setup a bluetooth connection that would be great cuz I apparently haven't done it right.
The headset icon only shows in Phone app
The headset icon only shows up in the Phone application. It no longer is displayed in the notification area (top row).
If your device is paired up, when you make a call, you will see the headset icon in the top right corner.
You may also need to clear any old pairings that you headset has. I have a Jabra 250 and it happens all the time.
there we go you have solved my problem!. I didnt' have to open up the phone application on my hp 6315 to use the bt. So wait can I listen to music with windows media player through the bt headset or does it only work when making phone calls? I was able to listen to music on the HP 6315, is it different with the Imate or is it the NEW 05 os? Please enlighten me
thank you thank you
also one other thing does this mean that if i want to use the headset with the phone that I have to press the answer button on the imate rather than the headset..cuz that would suck big time.
what about when people call me can i answer with the answer button of the bt headset or no?
It works fine with the headset button for answering or hanging up.
Later.......... 8)

A2DP Bluetooth Issue Pairing to Android

I recently got a Blueant Q1 and it is suppose to support A2DP so that phone ringing, music and other sounds are suppose to play over the bluetooth instead of using the speaker.
I have paired, reset, updated the firmware and paired again after reset and still can't seem to get it to a2dp. Normal bluetooth profile seems to work fine. I can call and receive calls, but Video player, Audio Player all the stuff that shoudl come over A2DP does not seem to be working. I have firmware 8.2 on the Q1, and 8.19 was suppose to be the one that included A2DP support.
When I go under settings->wireless and network->Bluetooth settings-> Blueant Q1 v8.2 options the only options is Phone(Use for phone audio) and of course it's checked on automatically. Nothing about stereo or other audio.
If I playback anything, or even if it uses Blueants own android app to "speak text messages" it comes over the speaker...
Any ideas? does A2DP need to be enabled in some way?
well, only about 5 minutes more (of the 2 or so hours of messing with this device) to get it working.
The icon next to my bluetooth device was showing a Phone icon in bluetooth settings. I held down and chose disconnect and unpair and after that the device unpaired and the icon changed to a headset icon and said press to pair with this device...I did, and the icon stayed like a pair of headphones and now does its A2dp thing...
So if you have a a2dp device and it shows the phone icon, unpair/disconnect, and hopefully the icon will change to the next....stage.....
Thank you so much! This was driving me crazy!!! Must be a bug, doesnt make sense why you have to disconnect and unpair before it works. Thanks again!
I had the same issue, but finally worked. What I notice now is that the stereo audio quality is not that good, it sounds like lower quality on the treble.
My old Tilt sounded much better. Any ideas? maybe hard reset?

I noticed the icon difference, but couldn't figure it out. Thank you so much for this quick fix!
I have no idea what makes it finally change. It worked on one of my captivates but remains a phone icon on another with the same rom and setup. Super weird bug.

YES!!!!! I've been fracking with my HD2 for hours. I just installed Core Cell's last Android SD rom and I had no functioning A2DP. I tried installing toggles and all sorts of stuff. I was about to reinstall the whole rom. I had searched for solutions but did not see this thread at first. I just tried your solution and I happily have Joe Bonamassa blasting in my right ear. THANK YOU!

How to keep BT enabled on phone but disconnect watch?

Hi,
I want to keep BT enabled on my SGS7 but also I no need to have watch connected all the time (annoying notifications). For example, I am at home and I need BT to control light in room but I no need phone to be connected with Huawei watch. How to disconnect watch (temporary) but keep BT enabled?
P.S I don't want to unpair watch because I need to quick connect after I leave house (manualy).
I used to use Secure Settings in a Tasker profile to disconnect my watch while on a phone call and reconnect when the call was over. You could probably do the same thing based on your location (at home or away).

My focus isn't automatic switching, but keeping BT enabled while watch is disconnected. I want to manualy connect/disconnect watch. There must be native option for that, but I can't find.
Now it works like this:
I enable BT on my phone -> Huawei watch connect to phone automaticly.
And I want:
I enable BT on phone -> watch stay disconnected. I manualy connect watch with phone when I need, and disconnect when I no need watch anymore. So I can use phone BT to do other things.
I've never done it, but Tasker can create a widget that would let you run the toggle profile manually.

Android Wear app on phone.
Gear symbol upper right
Touch :"HUAWEI WATCH connected"
Toggle "Connected" slider off
That leave phone BT on and does not require repairing watch, just slide it back on and the watch reconnects.

JBL Reflect mini 2 not found

Hi, every one! I bought brand new JBL Bluetooth Headset, model name is JBL Reflect mini BT2, and when i turn bluetooth and headset on, there is nothing in the pairing menu. I had older BT-Headphones and everything worked fine. However, the JBL headphones connect to my Galaxy Tab A perfect. On my Mi5S runs LineageOS 16.0, latest update.
Greetings
You might have already tried this since you managed to pair the headphones to another phone, but maybe they don't want to pair to a new device unless the following is done:
To connect to a different Bluetooth device, first switch the headphones off.
Now press and hold the center button on the headphone remote control for about 3-5 seconds.
You should see the light blinking red/blue to indicate pairing mode, and the voice prompt should state “looking for device”.
You should see "Reflect Mini 2" appear on the source's BT list. Choose that option, and wait for the voice prompt to state “connected”

I do this everytime and also did a hard reset on the headset and still not found.
I'm on LOS 16 too and don't have problems connecting to a headset or BT speaker. Here's one crazy idea Go to Developer settings (might need to enable them first - go to About phone, and click on build number at the very bottom until you get a note that you're a developer). Now go to System, Advanced, Developer options and under Networking hit Show Bluetooth devices without names. This will give you a list of BT MAC addresses. I'm curious if you see the JBL listed now. You can get its MAC address from the other phone.

Question No Google voice commands when smartwatch is connected

Hey guys, pretty sure a lot of people out there are using a smartwatch along with their Pixel so maybe someone can help me with this: when my Galaxy Active 2 smartwatch is connected most of the time I can not use voice input with Google Assistant / search. When I wake up the Assistant by long-pressing power the device starts listening but apparently can't hear me. When I disable Bluetooth or power off the watch everything's working just fine.
The weird part is this though: most of the time the watch is connected, a Bluetooth icon with two dots on the left and right can be seen in the status bar, but not always! And only when the icon is NOT there, while the watch is STILL connected and fully usable, voice commands DO work! What on earth is going on there?
Same thing with the camera app: when the watch is connected and the icon is there, the cam app tells me a Bluetooth microphone is connected. When the watch is connected and the icon is NOT there, the app doesn't tell me. With the cam it is not a problem either way though because here I can choose what audio source I wanna use, while in the Google app I can't.
Any ideas?
It seems that your Galaxy Active 2 gets recognized by the P6 as a Bluetooth microphone capable device, ergo it won't use the in-build phone microphones.
Does it have microphones, by the way?
You can always change the system "primary" source of a microphone/sound source by going into the Sound menu (press volume rocker, press on three dots, change there or go into See more).

Yeah I'm looking for a way to do that, change primary audio source, but I don't see any options for that in the sound or any other menu...
I'll add another bug to the list.
When a watch capable of making and receiving calls (Huawei Watch GT2 Pro) is connected, initiating a phone call from a BT headset/earbuds starts a phone call through the headset, but as soon as the phone call connects, the audio switches from BT headset to phone internal speaker.
You have to disable the "phone" function of the BT settings for the smartwatch to get this to work properly.
This didn't use to be the case, so it's clearly a new bug either in P6P or Android 12.
