How can I check that my bootloader is unlocked?

How can I check that my bootloader is unlocked?
I don't know how can I check it.
This numbers *#*#7378423#*#* didn't work

Boot into bootloader (hold volume down when powering on or adb reboot bootloader) and write down everything on that screen here

It is no unlocked but you have some security flags removed, it was probably rooted but not through the recommended method. What are you trying to accomplish right now?

I want to flash via fastboot boot.img (kernel)

You can go through the htcdev site and get an unlock code from them, really not a great way though.
Preferred method to root and install an engineering bootloader can be found here

Root and recovery help!

I'm new to HTC process so go easy on me...(came from Galaxy S4 to m9)
I'm currently on mm 6.0 and yesterday I installed sunshine 3.3 after seeing @jcase post it was good to go for Verizon m9. So I'm now s-off and bootloader unlocked...here is where my confusion starts....and maybe I missed the thread that covered it...but how do I root and install twrp? All the methods I read were for java cards and xclips. But not sunshine...will they work the same? Also I do not have a PC with windows is there an option for Linux users...thank you for any replies, I appreciate your time and help...

Unlocked with Sunshine as well, trying to flash TWRP with fast boot. I get the message it is successful, so when I reboot I hold the volume down and power per TWRP's instructions but I get stock recovery. Any advice?

You are getting download mode. Not stock recovery. Now select reboot-boot loader. On the white boot loader screen select boot recovery.

First HTC phone, is the RUU what's used to recover from bricks and bootloop? Just flash with fast boot? Like to know my options to recover before I start flashing.

Other variants than tmobile are using bypassing(means --bumped boot source, kernel, recovery) in order to fool the bootloader that it´s a legit signed boot option.

Flashing

[Q].its it OK to flash a rom (Viper) when I'm not s-off,and if so what is the process?oh and I am bootloader unlocked.

Your device has failed verification" boot message

Hi guys, i have a problem.
After unlock the bootloader and flash TWRP ,i installed the CM13 and all went good.
After reboot the system this message: Your device has failed verification" boot message is appeared and the phone will automatically start the TWRP .
What can i do?

Maybe boot.img is broken.

As it said in the unlocking instructions, this is normal. As long as it's unlocked you will get this. Ignore it.

Solution
Downgrade to Lollipop and then unlock bootloader via official apk app provided by Asus then install twrp. It's done

I only get this message when I reboot into twrp

It's because you updated the phone to Asus MM, don't worry this is normal from now on custom roms due to MM bootloader

Just curious, is the bootloader is locked again.
If the message mentioned in the thread appears, does it means the bootloader is locked again or it is still unlocked because the splash screen had turned black again ??? Please reply, thanks in advance.
