You have to do a factory reset in stock recovery.

HELP!
I tried rooting my phone using the guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1923956)
I'm pretty sure followed everything.
I flashed the root + recovery for n700 alj1
Flash was successful... but it loaded into n7105!
Now my sim (uk - T-mobile) is not recognised and the phone is buggy (crashes and does not wake up when screen switches off. Have to pull out battery).
I've been up half the night trying to return it to stock n700 but can't seem to!
All the various options in the root programme keep it at n7105!
Please help!
My phone just arrived yesterday and I already mussed it :'(

Then my advice would be: reset the flash counter, reflash a stock rom with Odin, do a data/factory reset in stock and then reroot.

It's time for me to sell this guy, so I want to go back to stock (unrooted, without the custom boot loader and what not) How can I do this?
Download latest 4.1.2 rom and flash it via ODIN and afther that, go to recovery and perform factory/wipe reset. Thats it.

Google is your friend.
I updated my phone to kitkat using the OTA update while rooted, which was definitely a stupid thing to do, but now my phone seems to be stuck on the ATT splash screen after booting. It's been this way for 15+ minutes. Any way to reset it/unbrick it?
I am able to get into recovery mode and download mode.

I tried this and nothing changed. Would a flash back to 4.3 stock fix the problem?

I would read about doing that before doing so. From what I've been reading if you're on a certain bootloader, you can't go backwards. I'm by no means an expert, so just read a lot so you're comfortable with doing that. Good luck .
Dont flash old firmware, but older roms are ok to try. I'd start by trying to flash enewmans stock kk rom.
I managed to get the phone back to 4.3 Stock however now I don't have mobile data. I'm thinking this is a modem issue? Anyone have a fix?
I believe dochliday77 has a post somewhere with the kk modem ripped from the rom

I installed a 4.3 modem and it did not fix the issue. In phone status IMEI is Unknown.
You need to install the 4.4 modem on a 4.3 rom

Thanks! I coincidentally figured this out right before checking this post. For anyone having the same issue, check this thread here. It seemed to fix my issues with mobile data, wifi, and pretty much everything else.

Hey im also stuck on the at&t logo. I was rooted but used triangle away to remove the counter and unrooted via super su/user <--- I don't really know the name of it. So i did the ota update and the phone restarted, it installed the update and restarted again and now will not get passed the att logo, even let it stay on over night. How did you get back to 4.3?? I'm a serious n00b so I need detailed instructions, anyone please?!?

Everything in download mode needs to say "official" in order to get the OTA. See if this helps:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-att/general/how-to-restore-device-status-to-t2832880
If the ota appeared to flash, and its hanging during boot, factory reset should solve it.
Be aware that doing so with stock recovery installed will wipe the internal sd card.
So I'm new to this whole rooting thing. I unlocked the bootloader and tried to install TWRP, however, things didnt go to plan. Found out I can't use Android Pay with an unlocked bootloader so I want to go back. When I flashed the TWRP, Recovery mode is gone. If I try to go into "reboot to recovery" in the bootloader, It starts a constant loop of the HTC logo. I need to be able to get the stock recovery back so that I can do a factory reset. Can anyone guide me into achieving this? Thanks a million

Do you have your stock recovery backed up? If so flash that. Else you should look around here for one that matches your firmware.

Thank you so much! phone is now back to stock!
I've been on the same updates since like may. I have stock recovery, its rooted so my boot-loader was unlocked at one point and should still be still. So what do I need to do to update to a treble ROM? I see I can flash directly through fastboot right?

all ways when you change rom, you need to to reset. I do not understand why this hangs everyone up. ALL WAYS, it has all ways been ALL WAYS when flash a rom you need to reset device.
