anyways if anyone tried this can report back if is close to the performance of the stock lg camera app?
Blur option force closes, video recording is choppy, photo sphere and panorama do not work and image quality is not impressive. That is on CM 11 16.04 nightly.

WOW! seems to be a piece of ... but reportedly, it works better on Mahdi ROM
every thing works fine on liquid smooth v3. official build...:laugh::laugh:
Currently on CM11 20140418 nightly.
Pros:Minimal Interface
Nicer Icon
Full HD recording is smooth
Cons:Average Photo Quality(Normal on Cyanognenmod ROMs though)
Lens Blur DOES not work(Presses the button, then FC)
Panorama and Photosphere DOES not work(Gives Black viewfinder)
Overly Simplified UI does not have much settings.(By much I mean nearly NONE)
Verdict:Can be much improved if all the bugs were fixed and some of the settings return. The UI is slick but too simplified IMO.
I recommend you get it once bugs are fixed.Hence, getting a much better experience.
Score:3/5
Photosphere works fine on CM11(Unofficial).
Hi, did you know where I can find Google camera for stock rom?

Unfortunately there isn't any.It only works on 4.4 and above and as you know stock is currently 4.1.2 and has yet to be updated by LG.
But you can find the apk file here:http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/04/16/breaking-google-releases-stock-camera-app-to-the-play-store/
I am not responsible if your phone bricks or anything though.
search new google camera for jelly bean and you'll find some results. I've downloaded but not tested yet.
I think the best G3 features are on camera app, if you lose them on aosp roms it's like having a middle G3 phone.
There's the possibility to port Lg Camera with laser autofocus and optical stabilization on aosp roms?
Not the place to post this dude.

Not the place to post this.
Also, they couldn't do this with the G2 camera, so I'd not get my hopes high.

For G2 exists a porting of camera app, and it works also on G3, but lacks of some features.
Does anyone know if it is possible to get the stock camera running on CM12? Or what other camera's do you use? Currently using Google Camera but missing the magic focus and speed of the stock camera.
Not yet. The g2 camera was Ported to AOSP last year, so there is hope

Hi guys,
I'm using Crdroid based on Cyano 12.
I don't like stock aosp camera, and I'm using Lenova camera app 3.6.7 taken from xda.
I lke this app, but it's as good as LG stock camera o Xcam.
Anyone can suggest an alternative app?

I have not seen any difference in quality using this vs stock camera in daylight. Moreover, it's very fast compared to stock camera on G3.
I think the best out there is the lenovo or the motorola ..but NONE of them can be compared (yet) to the stock camera. Besides in most of the alternatives laser doesnt even work so....
