Hey Guys,
I've a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini (GT-I9192). It stopped working mid-day all of the sudden while it wasn't in use. The phone is just showing a black screen, & pressing the power button, it doesn't respond. The phone also doesn't respond when I try entering the download or recovery modes. When I connected the phone to the PC, it was identified as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008", & looking up on the internet for what does this mean, I found that it means that phone is bricked.
I never rooted this phone, & I tried to write two I9192 debrick images (One at a time of course ) on an external SD card using Win32DiskImager-0.9.5. However, turning on the phone with any of the two debrick images, the phone shows the following lines exactly, & no further progress takes place:
BOOT RECOVERY MODE
CHECK BOOT PARTITONS..
COPY FROM T-FLAH..
BOOT RECOVERY..
WRITE 139008 sectors..
I couldn't find a solution for this issue on the internet. So, any idea what is happening here & how can I solve this problem ??
Many thanks in advance

My phone (Samsung Galaxy S4 mini Duos GT-I9192) is with the same problem, since 2016 October!!. But I know what happened. It was a virus!: In a day, when I turned on my wifi, an unexpected download started . . . , after about 5 seconds, several app's began stopping uninterruptedly, followed by message asking "OK". So, I forced the phone to turn off; waited some time, but when I pressed the power button, nothing happened and it remains like this until now! I have tried all of the things possible by pressing combination of buttons, but it is really hard bricked!!. I just hadn't courage to use any kind of (de/un)brick image yet, like you. I'm continuously researching in the internet and trying to learn how to solve this problem in a secure way. I have found something relating to unbrick qualcomm mobiles using QFIL, but we have to use other kind of archives other than thouse from GT-I9192 original rom, which made me with doubt if it will function.
If somebody understand better than us about it, please help us!
Thanks.

Qfil doesn't work with Samsung as far as I know. Even if it did you would have to have the files for your exact phone model.
But I'm going to continue researching. . .
Thank you.
hey villaovb. did you find anything or this problem?

Hey, so I tried installing the 5.0.1 pre-rooted flash file using this tutorial thinking that there was no difference between S4 and S4 Mini. Now my phone is hardbricked. Power doesn't go on at all. Was getting annoyed at the upgrade pop-up though.
When connecting to USB on PC, I get a "QHSUSB_DLOAD" driver in my Device Manager.
I looked at a couple of threads to fix the brick, but I'm confused.
I downloaded Win32DiskManager and wrote a debrick.img file that I downloaded to my SD card, then put the card in my phone, but nothing happens. Odin doesn't see it at all.
I also noticed if I hold the power button while Device Manager is up, after a few seconds, the "QHSUSB_DLOAD" disappears and reappears, so it is responding at least in some way!
So is there hope for me or will I have to go to Verizon and plead to get them to replace it?
I don't know what to do with them, but these are the files I have downloaded right now:
1 from here.
2 from here.
3 from here.
4 from here.
5 from here.
6 from here.

Greetings,im Akmal and today I will be sharing some helpful solution to unbrick your Oppo Find 7/7A.Short Story(myb a lil bit longer)¬
So my find 7A got soft bricked when I install custom rom without using TWRP(pretty stupid to do so)
After rebooting my phone keeps on booting to fastboot mode and no matter it happen the same if i press vol up/vol down and power button.
At this stage I knew my phone is soft bricked. So I found the solution to it through some old posts which you have to extract the ColorOS blablabla and adb thingy(I dont wanna go through it here)
But I dont realised that i forget to flash a file name "TZ.MBN"
Now that my phone wont ever boot or even to fastboot which resulted to hard brick.
No recovery screen.
No Charging status screen
No Fastboot screen
No sign of vibrating when i push the power button
-So here is the solution-
Disclaimer-I am not responsible for what ever happen to your device after this-
-there are already some other posts like this but I make this post to let you know that its still working.
1a)First,download the OPPO UNBRICK TOOL HERE
bit.ly/OPPOUNBRICK
1b)goto Google and search for Qualcomm qd loader.download, install and restart your pc.
2)After restarting,Extract the file from OPPO UNBRICK TOOL and open "Msm8974DownloadTool.exe"
3)as you may have notice, its chinese language or some aliens language but dont worry it isn't corrupted, just follow through↓
4)disconnect your device battery, then open the software and press start, after that connect the phone to your pc/laptop (WITHOUT BATTERY) and hold volume up button
5)please wait patiently as it is reflashing stock rom to your device.
6)as you may have noticed maybe your device disconnected but DONT GET PANICKED! press again the power button until its downloading again on the software.
7)If it has done downloading, some row should be in a Green colour.
8)disconnect your cable and try turning on your device again.
That's it!Any comment or curiosity I will try helping you through the comment section but I not guaranteed everything I can answer
P/S:if your device is softbricked, you just should disconnect your battery, and then open the software and press start, then connect the phone to your pc/laptop (WITHOUT BATTERY) and hold volume up button.
If your device is hard bricked(like mine)only holding the power button could work as well
*UPDATE* 24/2/2019
-If you guys still have any concerns kindly contact me through twitter (0728mal)
*UPDATE* 4/7/2020
-yes it is still working guys,no worries kayy
-no you don't need internet for it to work, the software already has all the files needed to flash the device, which is why the file is pretty big.
best regards,
Akmal

hi im having this problem as well. my find 7a is hard bricked after i flash coloros v2.1.5i without twrp. the problem is, my computer does not detect my phone at all even after i hard reset and hold power button for 30 seconds. i dont think the battery is drained because before this happened, my phones battery was about 90% and i try recharging the phone for 30 minutes, and nothing happened. so the debrick tool cannot be used. can you suggest anything for my problem?
Got excited when I read this post! Is there an Oppo Unbrick tool for Mac? I don't have a Windows machine so I can't run the .exe file... Is there an equivalent for those of us not on Windows? Thank you

On Mac's OS, you can always install Windows on its proprietary virtual machine and get the process going that way.

yeah you can try WINE also but i never have any experience with mac os before so i cant guarantee that it will work considering that you're configuring your drivers, which can go wrong if not done correctly
So I have bricked my phone (X9006) while trying to install TWRP recovery. It is stuck on logo and adb/ fastboot does not recognise it anymore. I have tried the above-mentioned tool, but this program also does not do anything for a long time. Am I missing something in applying this solution?
Edit: I am an Windows 10 and I might not have the Qualcomm drivers installed. I don't know how to install

Hello there.have you tried downloading the "Qualcomm"
Driver software on your PC?
is it necessary to remove the battery? I don't have tools for opening my phone and it's battery is non-removable
Perhaps an important step is missing. The Qualcomm qd loader driver is may not signed. I had to boot into the extended start menu on Windows 10 and disable the driver signature check - point 7 - and could now successfully debrick my find7.
I've got a dead oneplus 5t from my son. It was not charging anymore.. So I've replaced charging cable and battery.. Seemed to work it was charging... However it doesn't boot... No logo screen screen stays black/blank.
Tried several suggestions on this forum to get into recovery mode, fastboot mode... But still nothing. Only vibrating works after a few seconds.
So tried to unbrick with OP5T_Unbrick_tool_dumpling_43_J.40_181105(OOS.5.1.7) and the qualcomdrivers..
I was able to install the drivers and I see they are installed in devicemanagement.. and an empty folder create for oneplus.
I charged the phone all night and was able to download the upgrade. It then says download complete and I tried to restart the phone..
Still just vibrating but nothing happens.. Seems like everything has vanished from the phone, no recovery, no bootloader, no files.
So how to proceed to get all the stuff on the phone? And maybe the displayscreen is dead, but how can I tell?
Also tried the SMT upgrade. Strange thing is the device and com port are seen in devicemanagement and active when I connect without volume up, but cannot start because it says When I try to use smt mode the program says: "This COM port is disable by user". With volume button up pressed and then connect, ledlight turns green but the qualcomdevice is grayed out in devicemanagement and it says waiting for device..
Any help is welcome. I am a noob in how to proceed on the phone however I have an IT background.
Spent already so many time figuring out .. maybe it's effortless and its for the trashbin.
Thanks in advance
SOLVED
I opened the phone again loosened all those tiny connections to battery, screen, charger, mainboard and re-attached them.. Somehow a connection seemed to be fitting allright as yI looked at it, but apparently wasn't :good:

Long explanation:
My movistar brand samsung S4 mini (the phone contract ended so i change service provider so they did gave me a code and the phone was free from the contract and now it can accept any service provider) gt-i9190 2 year ago died after a chash in the system, i did have the evie launcher and a different keyboard (not using touchwis) the evie launcher stopped working then touchwis stopped working the phone home menu got to the simple layout then the phone freased and after a couple of second it shut down all this in less than 1 min t and never turn on again, i have a new phone but i will like to use the s4 mini for a proyect but its not starting,
i put an SDXC UHS-I class 10 A1 with a debrick.img(i did try 2 .img from this forum and the phone enter boot recovery mode and show this

then reboot and the same msg this for more than 30 mins then it stopped until i reconnect it to the pc or the charger or try to turn it on using the power botton, when the phone stop rebooting the normal convinations of keys make it vibrate for 3-4 times but nothing shows in the screen, the bottom convination make it vibrate just after the reboot part and the boot recovery mode dont show again until i stop pressing the bottom comvination then it start the boot recovery loop again, the boot dont fail or at least it do not say it, it just stop trying to rebootafter a long time, its like if its waiting for something to be done by me, like using the botton combination to enter download mode but well idk what to do plz help
Time line of what happened so far
2018
phone died after random update of android OS , though it was his time as i own it for + 5 years
2019
got a new phone and got curious about what happened so i started looking the internet , ended in this website almost everytime.
i left the phone chargin while i searched for answers, i connected the phone to my pc, try the botton combination to get to download mode and recovery(not succesfull) , removed the battery, try to turn it on without baterry to drain all power of phone and restart volatile memory (multiple times) and put it again without gettin anywhere try to connected to a netbook that was freshly formated and with fresh windows 10 intall, odin in that pc recognise the phone just as Qloader-9008 com (x) continued searching and from nowhere the phone started vibrating and then stoped and the chargin icon apeared on the screen i left it to charge as that was the first time i was 100% sure it was chargin after 10+ hours chargin while i was sleeping i try the botton to enter download mode and it worked, try the stock rom from my model, country and service provider and the phone got stuck on a boot loop showing the movistar intro then the s4 mini intro and vibratin each time it was to late so i stupidly turn it of, next morning i got back to try make it work but now it was totally unresponsive odin didn recognize the phone, didnt enter download mode or recovery , no boot loop, nothing is only make a sound in my pc when i try the botton combinations but nothing more just a sound of something connecting and disconnectingx2 got frustrated and left it there collecting dust, also the usb jig dont work
2020
4 months ago i got back to try to make the s4 mini work so i searched the internet again and found the sd card way i did try it and now im here with the phone in a loop of rebootin an starting the same boot recovery mode, it do not say "Flash write failure Ddi : mmc_read dailed" as i did read on other threads in this forum so as i stated before
i put an SDXC UHS-I class 10 A1 with a debrick.img and the phone enter boot recovery mode and show this

copy from t-flash

what can i do to at least get it to a point that kies or smart switch can take the controll or be able to use odin, the battery is at 3.78volts
If you can get your S4mini into Download mode, you should try Odin again. But this time, under the Options tab, UNcheck the box for Auto Reboot as well as the box for F. Reset Time. And then when Odin gives the green success indication, immediately disconnect USB and remove battery. Re-insert the battery after a minute or so. Another suggestion; flash the Movistar firmware only if you intend to use their carrier service. Otherwise, it would be better to use firmware not specific to any one carrier. Be sure the 3rd letter of the baseband code is "U" (for "unspecified" carrier). Good luck, hopefully your troubles are not due to faulty hardware.
HY to me happend tha Same my S4-Mini has showing Error in instand and after a tryed to Reboot the Phone was Complete DEAD , tryed the to Boot From SD- Card BOOT RECOVERY MODE it Says FLASH WRITE FAILURE ddi MMC read Failed ! Via odin same happens cant Write Read and NO PIT Partiion FOUND a Tryed also WiTH PIT FAIL .. IT LOOK MY S4- Mini Is Complete DEAD at least the emmc Chip
Happened to me aswell... When i put my SD card with debrick.img on then it bootloops the exackt same way. Cant find any prog or any help to avoid this. Cant even see the phone in Odin no matter with or without the sd card - Or get it to download mode either... i only see the Qualcomm 9008 port as open in device manager

Hey Everybody,
I found this board by googling and hope someone of you can help me. I already scrolled through the pages but could not find someone with the same problem.
So here what I have (I will add infos due to guessing it could a cause of the problems):
I installed the latest update which was available on the Phone once.
Last week i looked at my phone whch had 11% battery but forgot to charge it, so it went to zero for a few days when I found it ter searching and charged it.
After around 20% recharge I decided to put it on.
Now - it turns on, tries to boot. The boot screen appears with that classic Samsung Galaxy Secured by Knox
But - it does not show it like Samsung Galaxy A32 Secured by Knox. It seems like the model is not displayed anymore.
The boot screen is displayed for a few seconds, then the Phone turns off. Then the start vibration comes, the short Samsung logo is shown and then the boot with "Samsung Galaxy Secured by Knox" is shown again. This happens in an endless loop.
I also tried different things from the secure mode like deleting the cache, some other websites tell to use a computer and a software called odin to fix a broken firmware (which I am not able to, due to lack of knowledge).
The problem here is that I have data on the phone (i.e google 2fa's) which I really need. Otherwise I would have tried a hard reset already.
If it helps, I uploaded 2 photos, what I can only see.
Somebody has an idea?

this phone never showed its model on the splash screen. Maybe you were mistaken. But anywho try reflashing firmware.
Download samsung usb driver from https://developer.samsung.com/android-usb-driver
and install it.
Download the correct firmware for your region from https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-A325F/
If you have a different model and not SM-A325F search for it.
Now after downloading unzip the firmware.
Put your phone in download mode. By turning it off. Make sure its unplugged. Then hold the volume up and volume up (not power) together while plugging the usb c cable connected to your pc into the phone. It should show a blue screen. Now just press the volume up key to continue as it says (or other key i forgot)
Now just put respective firmware files in their respective slots.
You might see there are two csc files. Home_csc and normal csc.
The difference between the two is that Home_csc file does not wipe the /data partition. Which includes your internal storage. apps etc. While csc file wipes everything.
(userdata partition is to be left empty)
it will reboot on its own and boot into the system.
(NOTE: if you use one ui 5.1 firmware and upgraded to it recently then only use that one. Since it is not downgradable. Although if your on one ui 5. Be careful. 5.1 is not downgradable and some users are reporting broken touch screens)
good luck!
thank you or your replies. I will try it out
Try to format cache, if doesn't work format data, and if that doesn't work, flash the rom for your device, you can download it here http://samfw.com you have to choose your model, the carrier and the binary number correctly, that data is in the download mode, to access it you have to plug an usb cable to your pc, first, press both volume buttons, after that plug the usb cable to the phone, then an screen will turn on, offering 3 choices, press volume button, now open odin(after installing samsung usb driver and verifying presence in odin) choose the files BL, AP, CP, CSC(not HOME CSC, that is for applying system updates), flash it with odin and ready! Extra: You can root your device patching that rom before flashing it with odin.
