Im runnin the teamspr rom with skyhigh ive tried snapse and trickster. And a few others but on reboot synpse say my setting are deemed unstable and oc not sticking. All my uc speeds are though. Now i know on older lgs this was due to kernal not supporting the oc/uc speeds. Any ideas?

set things, then do not reboot for at least a couple minutes. synapse considers short reboot intervals as unstable.

Ive had nothin but issues from both roms. im assuming because of left over files. Done a complete wipe and installed from otg storge and renegdes been great. Only issue rite now is i hve no over clock or underclock. Only got stock frequencies available. Is there any other kernls other than skyhigh. Also having stability issues

Try SuperNOVA. Its fantastic and a little more user-friendly. Simple interface with his own custom-built app to manage kernel settings. I had hiccups using it on stock rom (some issues with samsung security saying unauthorized changes have been made) but if you are running Renegade you should be golden.
U believe they are baking SuperNOVA into the aroma installer options of next Renegade release, right @nyfl2004 and @elesbb?

Why do i get the goofy *** devices. So installed supernova i underclocked the little core to 300 and the big to 500. Only mod i did. And i start with random rebooting. I gotta run most of my test at night i got a backup phone to run case of down times. But i just dont understand why 1 minor setting is causing issues. Now am i safe to assume that voltage values are still safe at these levels or am i truly causing panics in the system. Now i did notice that last time i threw it on wireless charge it froze kinda. When it decided to wake ul i had a play services forced closed. I guess im gonna have to pull logs and check em out

That's weird you got random reboots with just those setting changes.. There are a lot of issues with the ktoonsez code I had. My latest version, not yet released, has complete rewrite of troublesome code. If you would like, after a reboot happens, pull the /proc/last_kmsg file for me and upload it. In the mean time, PM me and I will send you a link to the latest version that hopefully fixes your issues.

Just did it
Heres my log

Hi everybody
I post there because I'm not allowed to do so in "Xdandroid dev" section
Today, brinka123 posted a patch for Rhod100 camera's issue
Good new, the camera now works (excepted for exposure wich is not recalculated when zooming)
Bad new: Wifi no longer works...
Thanks to all devs my TP2 is near to have a new life...
I had a similar problem with my rhod300, I couldn't get wifi to work either, so I tryed deleting my data.img and after that it worked again.
HOWEVER, deleting your data.img will delete all of your phones settings/customizations. So I would advise to simply rename your data.img to something else and just letting the system create a new one on the next boot to android just in case it doesn't work.
Steps:
1. Boot into windows and connect to a computer
2. View the files on your phone and find the data.img and delete it.
3. Reboot into android and see if it works.
Hope this helps!

I think the problem is due to the use of an "old" kernell in wich Wifi was not fixed.
I saw on another forum that "Sir Brinka" attacked the problem only one month ago, starting from nothing!!!(well not exactly, but you see what I mean...)
Xdandroid devs are trying to reach him and submit his patch for a very next release.

Then.... update your kernell? Or am i misunderstanding?
Yes, that's it.
Actualy the problem is the modules wich fixes the camera have been made by someone and the best kernell have been made by another one.
The good modules must be integrated to the good kernell and the kernell must be recompilated.
To do so, the devs must have the sources of the modules (but Brinka is not of the dev team and seems having tons of problems to send his work to them).
When this will be done, we will have a new kernell working Wifi and camera "out of the box"
Thanks for the explanation littlebigtux, also the team can't or will not explain how the kernel is exaclty compiled, and with what toolchain and verion. I made a clone of 146 kernel (Wifi works) compiled it and outcome is not the same as the original kernel. That's why a different haret is needed also..
But I am happy the camera works on a 300 also !!!!!!!!
Lets wait for a new official kernel..
Realy the change is so simple.

Well, I certainly would be in the "can't" category.
It seems we need a wiki page of the complete kernel build process. We have a good one for the system image, but I don't think there's a complete end-to-end method/wiki page on how to compile a kernel.
I shall work with GlemSom and others to hopefully make a complete page on this topic.
Thanks for your hard work brinka123, I hope to see your patch soon!
Hi all! In last post from brinka123 in his thread i download his kernel version 3 and good news - wifi working, camera working, bluetooth pairing with my pc but i can't send file to phone. Audio bluetooth will test later.
Will be great if all developer start work together and they can make best kernel ever and soon all ported android devices can using NAND.
Hope on this.
hey guy i really hate to be "that guy" but ive really have been all over this forum for the last 2 weeks looking for a solid Kernel for the R800x and the only one i can find that works 100% is this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1605631
problem is i feel really cramped on the Data partition. is there anything like this Kernel that has the bigger 600mb+ data partition?
everything else ive tried either just flat out wont boot, has broken WiFi or some other issue. and due to most of the links being broken on this forum its very hard to track down any of the hard work thats been put into this little wonder.
any help with links to actual downloads would be greatly appreciated!
im by no means a flashaholic so i dont need recovery baked in or any thing crazy. i just need OC with large data Partition & working Wifi. :fingers-crossed:
Sadly your best option for kernel is Doomkernel released April of 2012. I don't believe lupus ever made a working cdma kernel. I may be incorrect. Before switching to a GSM play. I was on the R800x. Sadly your options are limited. 90%+ of the devs here used GSM.
I would look for doomkernel for cdma and then perhaps a search for lupus cdma kernel. If I were at my computer I'd do a quick sear h and post results here or send you my doomlernel and wifi modules to you in a link. As I kept all my cdma files.
If you want them let me know and later today I will post a link here for both.

really do appreciate the links, but been to all those places before with not much success. mostly dead links in the OP. i did find a few members posted links near the end of the threads before they get "locked" to mediafire etc but even some of those are dead too or have the Kernel but not the WiFi modules...
my prob with all the different DoomKernals ive tried is they have all been the smaller partition size. also boot times seem to be randomly very long for some reason. like some times more than 3-4 min just in the post screen before even loading the OS. (from what ive been able to get my hands on anyway)
however if you do have files of a nice Doomkernel with the larger data partition size with working Wifi modules id be your best friend! :highfive:

Okay, sorry for the wait. This link contains a zip that has both the last release kernel and wifi modules in a zip format. Just uncompress the zip and copy the wifi modules to your sdcard, then use fastboot to flash the Doomkernel CDMA kernel to your CDMA PLAY, afterwards enter recovery and flash the wifi modules so you can use your wifi.
This link will always be here, I wll never again remove it. let me know how it goes.

those totally worked. wifi and all!
sadly tho its a kernel with the smaller data partition (not 600mb+) so with both being OCed @ 1.6ghz, i don't really see much of a reason to use it over the Kernel i linked in the OP. the one in the OP seems to have better WiFi performance (if that makes sense?), doesn't require any extra modules to flash and it boots in a few seconds vs the Doom Kernel taking 30-90sec randomly to post before it even hands over to the OS.
i have the files saved now just in case and even tho i dont plan to use them much i really do appreciate you taking the time to upload them for me.
i did get Turbo Kernel working (including wifi) with Slimbean but i cant seem to get Turbo Kernel to have working Wifi with GB ROMs. i really love Turbo kernel. something about it seems so FAST on GB ROMs. but i cant live on 3g in my area and it seems Emus run at about 50-75% of the FPS on JB ROMs.....
i know, i know.... FWP right? lol
thanks again for you help.

Your welcome. Yeah unfortunately when DoomLord made this kernel no devs had figured out the larger system partition yet, or it wasnt available at that time. So yes DK only has the 600mb limit and you do have to manually flash the wifi modules where later kernels its done automatically on boot.
You can use Lupus Kernel but the wifi only works on Statis IP, instead of DHCP. Good luck. And if you got other questions your welcome to contact me I will do what I can.

Thanks to msw141 and m_carleone82 for testing the first version and posting that it didn't work. It is very difficult to create a rom for a device you don't own. I really appreciate everyone testing and giving feedback so I can work on fixing it.
Whose up for round two? I even added the option to debloat the rom yourself through the Aroma Installer as several people requested.
Stock kernel, P900UEU1ANC5 firmware base, knoxless, deodexed, zipaligned, init.d support, busybox and rooted.
Happy flashing and be sure to post feedback so we can get this up and running!

Awesome, great to know that I can use this as a backup. I'm already rooted and debloated, so I probably won't be flashing this any time soon unless something happens with mytablet.
Thanks for your hard work, though
I'd love to see this with an Aroma installer with options to pre-debloat. Like larkhillv, I'll keep this as a backup in case I mess something up. Thanks for your work!

With the ATT Note 12.2 launching in a few hours it couldn't have come at a batter time.
Me getting one really comes down to some custom ROM's. I have the N3 which was very good stock, but phenomenal with a custom TW rom.
Has anyone installed this ROM yet?
The development thus far on this device has been disappointing. I appreciate the work being done by the OP on this! Hopefully this will kick things off.

Honestly, it's a niche tablet, so I wouldn't expect much development in the future. It's a huge tablet (for most people) and the price tag is pretty high unless you can find it on sale.
I bought mine at Best Buy on a whim for around $650 with the free Samsung blue tooth keyboard specifically made for the Pro 12.2 (keyboard retails for $130, so it wasn't a terrible deal)
Plus, I feel like unless you either want a huge screen and/or want a large canvas for digital drawing/painting, then this probably isn't a smart choice for most people. I wanted both a large tab and a Note for drawing, so this was kind of a no brainer for me. ~$600+ probably isn't in the range of most consumers, though.

Booted up, custom splash screen I chose was there. First error I encountered was "Unfortunately, Application installer has stopped" after swiping to unlock. May have gone a bit too custom crazy in deselecting stock apps.
Will reflash and choose more stock options and see how it improves.
Very promising though so far.

OK reflashed with most everything stock selected with the addition of Wanam and Busybox. During boot get the startup animation fine. Then "Upgrading Android" message appears again and counts up. Then lock screen. When lock screen swiped away the screen is black and the same application installer error appears. You can get to some things like task manager and swipe down the notification drawer but it is unuseable in this state.
I will add this, and keep in mind I'm not really experienced with this stuff----it doesn't seem like it installed a new rom as much as tried to make modifications to what I had. My account info and most of my apps were still there based on what I could see in the menus I could still access. I would expect that flashing this would have required walking through the fresh install initialization. Maybe it is related to the application installer error I'm getting.
Hope this info was helpful. Looking forward to a v3.
I am goıing to try it in a few days too..Lets see what we have . thanks for hard work..

Hello @hsbadr, I was wondering if the substratum theme engine from the playstore will work on this? Thank you
Awesome work @hsbadr! Been using your rom for a while now, was using the cm based version and just flashed this! Wanted to report some bugs to help contribute but the bug report page doesn't work for me. So far I've run into two main issues It seems fingerprint is not working for me, and my network time from the carrier always says GMT+0, but i'm in EST. A minor bug that I've noticed is Ambient display is under both display and the main settings page, it seems that they are not changing correctly, if i set the display one to on, the other one remains off. Otherwise it seems great! Runs fast and will comment on stability soon, but so far so good! Also was wondering, for the flip flap app, I couldn't find any button to set the background colour, is this implemented or maybe I will just wait for the future Thx for reading!
I am on n910w8
Anyone have or know if hsbadr will give out his device tree?
Great job on the ROM ,everything seems to be working well. I have a quick question, does this ROM have auto bright ness?

@hsbadr , i flashed 18th feb. Rom, everything was good but whenever I tried to open gallery, mobile faced an aggressive shutdown, same thing happened with all the gallery apps that i tried & even file explorers, whenever any app tried to create thumbnails, aggressive shutdown happened, logcat also failed to save., Using it on 910G, with fixv4.

Hello @hsbadr, I was wondering if the substratum theme engine from the playstore will work on this? Thank you

Thanks for the response. Do you mind if I ask if you're on Verizon and if you've found any bugs? Thanks. OH, and how's your battery life? Hope that isn't too many questions. Much appreciated.
Loving the ROM so far!
However I'm currently stuck on 3G. I tried reflashing recovery, the QA1 Bootloader, and the rom.
Anyone else having this issue?

Nope, mine is unlocked(trltedt), only bug is that thumbnail issue that I mentioned earlier, but i guess that is specific to my & few other devices, battery life is good for me & fluidity is awesome.
Has anyone experienced a difference in Bluetooth controls between this and Emotion? Bluetooth controls work from my headphones most of the time, but the controls in my car never worked on Emotion. The clock on Emotion also crashed all the time for me.

Yes, I am as well, with this and emotions. I've had luck flashing this ltefix file but then cellular network settings APN etc disappear. Not sure if that matters as cell works for all data but I figured for myself I'll leave this 3g going and see if it matters much.
About 3 Months ago, I tried upgrading to Nougat, I installed Resurrection Remix on my Oneplus 3. Battery Usage was very high. I think it was comparable to now. I just thought is was Nougats fault and the missing Xposed (Amplify, Greenify etc) so I simply went to Marshmallow again.
Two days ago I decided to upgrade again, this time I installed ExperienceOS, which is not so different from Oxygen. As you can see in the screenshots below, I've got more than 50% battery usage, system only. Because there aren't really wakelocks causing this, (awake time is low) the most battery is getting sucked while device is in use. I did some research and tried clearing cache of Google Play Services and installed Franco Kernel. Both didn't help me.
Does anyone have a suggestion for this?
Thank you in advance

Not really a solution but a couple of tips -
A. Use the dark theme it's better for amoled screens
B. Download naptime from the playstore
C. Turn off auto backup in settings/backup&reset
D. Turn off auto sync in accounts
I know a few of these tips will reduce your experience but they will definitely help...

Thank you for your help, I changed A and D, while C was already activated and B I am already using greenify and without paying I think this would be too much restriction.
But of course, this really hasn't done anything to that high battery usage of CPU(?)

Well that's your problem if you want to get rid of the battery drain then switch to superSU... I promise you'll see a difference.

You will have to dirty flash experience OS but don't use magisk if superSU is not installed then rather download from playstore or flash the latest zip via recovery and if i have helped please leave a thumbs up on my posts i truly appreciate it...
check your log using apps like matlog and see if a lot of errors get spammed by system.
if it does try to re-dirty flash your current rom.
or just use freedomos, basically the same as experience rom, but i know from the dev he has fixed some system drain issues in freedomos. i am also using it and no problems with system drain.

I used FreedomOS too, but doing a complete clean flash, it would give me issues with Gapps, so I could not login into Google and use any of their services because it crashes. Tried flashing Gapps manually there but I couldn't figure out why Gapps keep crashing so I switched to ExperienceOS which was working fine. I'm also gonna try out matlog tomorrow and tell you about the results. Thank you.
don't use magisk on experience os. I had this similar issue then reflashed the rom without magisk add on and everything became normal.
My battery was draining in less than two hours, the issue you are having now. I am using OS freedom 2.7.
Solution is
1. Wiped everything except internal storage.
2. Installed oneplus 3 4.1.3 firmware.
3. Then installed 2.7 Freedom Os.
Battery backup went from poor to more than perfect
If u are using magisk flash the permissive script
Okay simple but effective solution:
Clean flashed AOSiP, now everything works and battery life is amazing! Thank you all.
