I mad this way back in October and kept it as a backup in case Handtec didn't come through but seeing as they did get it, already have my money, and are cheaper I'm canceling this one and going with them.
For anyone in the US who still wants to order one despite the SAV issue and doesn't want to deal with making an international order they're another viable option.
Don't know if 750 is viable.. what a mark up.

They're just passing the import fees along to the consumer and trying to make a $30-$40 profit like Negri did. Personally I have no problem going through a UK retailer but a lot of folks were hesitant.
I just received the same email too.
They were actually expecting stocks due next Monday. It looks like it arrived earlier.
For the price, I think it is OK. There is a $20 coupon which brings the total down to 729, plus they do not charge tax outside IL.
I just placed an order through expanys usa, only because my bank was blocking transactions though Handtec due to "fraud", which is rubbish because they are a legit company. Anyway Expansys charged me for shipping, while advertising free shipping, also none of the coupon codes worked (10OFFLC nor 20OFFLC).
I believe it is free shipping for 3-5 day.

I just placed an order with them clicking through Mr. Rebates to get 2% back and $20 off. The email acknowledgement shows -$20 for a total of $729.99.
I'll check my CC to see if they did only charge $729.99 or added to that.

I tried 20OFFLC and it did apply it. It shows it at the bottom. For warranty is expansys USA a authorized Samsung reseller?
oh man, soo tempting. I could probably have one in my hands this Friday

Anything sold outside its intended country of sale is considered grey market by Samsung and has no warranty. However, during the life of the two-year warranty Expansys-USA will send the phone to their UK affiliate for service on behalf of their customers. Anyone buying from Negri, Amazon, or eBay has no warranty. No one in the U.S. is authorized to sell the phone by Samsung and it's not a U.S. product. Should the phone need service, Samsung UK will ask for a receipt and/or credit card statement. The purchase had to be made in the UK in GBP and from an authorized reseller for the warranty to be valid. They also keep a database of which phone serial numbers were sent to specific dealers/distributors. Many i9100 repairs were rejected because they didn't meet the requirements I described. All us i9100 owners went through this when the phone first came out so what I'm sharing is fact.
I got the same email. My total was 729.99 and I was more comfortable buying from a company with a US presence.
$750 + $29 for 1 day shipping. = $777.94
is it worth it?

Thank you for the clarification. Any idea as to how is their customer service in case something goes wrong with the phone?
Buying from EXPANSYS USA does not void a warranty by any means. I sent my GS2 back for a repair with no problem at all. In fact, I called EXPANSYS and spoke with a rep there that offered to take care of everything for me. I shipped it back to EXPANSYS and they forwarded it on to France for me, got it repaired, and shipped my phone back to me when it was finished. They also gave me all the information I would have needed if I wanted to do it myself. I just went through them to alleviate any huge shipping fees and any unforeseen obstacles. It looks like they do have the Galaxy Nexus in stock now.... It's hard not to buy one!!!

I am tempted, but I really want the 32GB version.
Agreed. It baffles me that they didn't put any expandable memory slots on this device.
My online order was recently cancelled by T-Mobile for unknown reasons, possibly due to no stock. It is really frustrating especially after you wait for a week to find out the phone you ordered was on backorder and eventually cancelled. Is it better to wait and purchase online at T-Mobile's website once stocks are available again or should I purchase at the T-Mobile store? Are there any differences I should be looking out for?
Retail Store
I bought my Note 2 at the retail store. I had a similar experience with the first Note, ordered it and found out 3 days later the order was canceled because they were out of stock. In hind sight sort glad it turned out that way, loving my Note 2.

Got mine at the tmobile store. At the time it was same price in store and online. The guy activated my new sim and added the phone to my insurance. Paid full price. I was in and out of the store about 20 minutes....painless
try ordering over the phone.

What's a corporate store? Is it the same as T-Mobile Retail Store?
Also the promotion you are getting, is that with contract, only?

It's corporate store, not dealer.
Do you remember the $0 promotion from 21-31 last month? This applied to Value Plan only and your contact will be reset.
I remember a promotion like that going on. However, I was inclined into a different plan. Guess, that was the reason why I waited and finally came to know T-Mobile's Online store was out-of-stock. I wouldn't mind paying the full price for the Note II. Would stores be having it ready in stock?

Did you call the number that they gave for questions? I did, and they said that it was not canceled even tho i received the same email, and they said it to be an error. I recently put my order number in and it came up cancelled, but low and behold a few hours later i received an email that my note II has shipped. I would check your CC and see if they charged it. It's on Amazon Wireless for $99 on Sprint and Verizon. Would Best Buy price match that for an AT&T Note 2? Anyone have any experience? Thanks.
Probably not, usually they only match stores that have a physical location in the area. So no online retailers.

it never hurts to try... iI would suggest you go there, ask politely, then if denied, argue politely. All in all, the money isn't made by the phone but on the contract, the service plan, and the accessories they attach at the point of sale.
Yes they price match amazon. I bought my note 2 at bestbuy when amazon had it for $174

Yes.
I got mine for $99 on Saturday from Best Buy as an upgrade on my AT&T account.
I had to show proof that AT&T would price match Amazon's Verizon price before they would do it.
I used someone else's receipt posted on another site.
If they give you trouble, let me know and I will post a copy of my receipt where my local Best Buy price matched.
Would you mind posting the receipt? Thanks
Yes they will. Done it for a bunch of items off amazon

All you have to do is go to Best Buy's price matching terms & conditions. Read it. They routinely change it & have for sometime been testing different on-line retailers in different regions for price match as well. Tiger Direct, Newegg & several others are listed. I am not sure about Amazon Wireless, but Amazon very well could be one of the online retailers they do officially price match.
I showed them an add on my device, they looked it up themselves to confirm & bam...Proce match - my rewards cert.
Thanks guys.

I work for Best Buy Mobile and we pricematch Amazon Wireless all the time. Thing is the $99 is for a Sprint NEW customer not a Upgrade the Upgrade price is $199.99. If they pricematch $99.99 for an upgrade they aren't doing their job lol.

They are doing it right...the price match is against AT&T, not Sprint.
AT&T's online store is price matching Amazon, and in turn we are getting Best Buy to price match AT&T.

This means zero. Trust me they're doing it wrong, am I doubting some random store did it for you? No, but I'm telling you they price matched the New 2 Year agreement price and will get hit for it in some way or another. Not to mention it was a different carrier. Pricing and agreements are different with all carriers especially Verizon, we have to get special permission to even put things on sale with certain carriers because like 100% of the time were cheaper than the carrier stores. AT&T can price match whatever they want they're AT&T they can do whatever they want because they're the ones that make the rules lol.
Anyways grats on your pricematch it's a sickphone

I ordered the full price Note 4 for Verizon on 9/25. Was scheduled to be delivered today but I just got the notice that they are out of stock. I am on the Verizon UDP with my current Note 2 still and want to keep it. I did my trade in through amazon and that went through. I am looking for suggestions on the quickest way to get a Note 4 in my hands while keeping my unlimited data plan.
I got a good deal through Amazon, $622 for the note 4, but at this point I don't want to wait for weeks to get it. Can I get it through Verizon or Best Buy and still get the rebate (mail in or instant) and keep my unlimited date plan?
Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Hi, thanks.
Yep, I know there are two rebates. One required preorder by 10/22, which I obviously did through Amazon, but if I cancel I will not meet this requirement.
The other https://samsunggalaxypromotions.com/tradein does not require a preorder, but it does appear to require the trade in and purchase to be on the same transaction. Since I have already had my trade in processed through Amazon, this isn't really feasible either.
I was looking at the Best Buy Option. Didn't study their spin on the rebate, and they are selling the full price phone for $749 rather than the $699 I paid on Amazon.
I'm in the same boat. I just cancelled my amazon order. I was just at best buy and they wouldn't let me buy the phone outright. Computer wanted a 2yr activation to get the $200 gift card. I showed the managers that all their flyers and ads don't say anything about that being a requirement. I was there over an hr. They did nothing except waste my time.

I'm typing this from my note4 that I paid 299 for via my udp
I bought it in store at best buy and used an upgrade on a 2gb line (nationwide share plan). They said they have to activate the phone, which is fine since it went to the 2gb line. After I left the store, I popped in my udp sim card from my note 2 and voila. They're offering a bonus 200 trade in gift card for a working smart phone until 10/31, but I figured I'd hang onto my note 2 for a backup if needed. I may even buy a cheap Craigslist phone and turn it in to best buy for that gift card. $95 for a note 4 with udp ain't too shabby.

It does and it doesn't! Pre-order on Samsung.com and you get a $200 samsung shop credit, which you can use for the buds+.
I'm on the tmobile Jump program so I was planning to upgrade through them.
Last year I did the same for my S10+. They ran similar promotion and I got my Buds..
Just hoping that tmobile will do the same though no info from there on that.

hi everyone,
pre-ordered my S20 Ultra Silver Grey on Amazon and l got the confirnation that after i will receive them, i will also get the Buds+ from Samsung. super!
Pre-ordered a S20 Ultra 5G yesterday on Italian Samsung website and, yes, there is the free buds+ promotion. Yeah!!!!
For the S10 you bought the phone then submitted a receipt to Samsung. They give you a credit for the price of the buds, but you could spend it on other things if you wanted.

I think there was a form I had to fill up with Samsung... But whatever that is, I hope I will eventually get the Buds+ for free if I get my phone through Tmobile.
I get the buds plus for free as well , just as well with the 1500 spent on the 512gb version , only a pain not getting mine until march 12 ( holland) and not on the 6th like everyone else.went for the grey version as i have not yet had a grey phone before. The option for the free buds was in the ordering options on samsungs website.
pre ordered from UK Vodafone not sure how you submit proof of purchase for the buds+ offer when you buy through their call centre?
anyone have experience in this with previous deals with UK Vodafone?
So in the US, we get a $200 credit, no free buds. I was hoping for the free bauds, and the credit. Oh well.
Doesn't the freebie depend on if you buy from the carrier or from samsung? I know it has differed in the past. Hoping for the credit though so I can get the buds and a case

In the us, only the $200 credit is available.
It comes with a $200 credit, and have the option to spend or use it during the pre order. I used it to buy the Galaxy Watch 2, added $49 only.
It depends on the region. US and Korea get a credit and for example Europe gets the Buds+.
T-Mobile just reminded me you get the credit when you sign in and register with your new phone on Shop Samsung. It'll be the $200 credit.
Just preordered the Ultra. Used $200 credit for the free AKG Noise Canceling cans instead (I already have way too many true wireless earbuds, but didn't have any NC anything, so that made up my mind).
You have to go on the Samsung shop app once you get your phone if you ordered outside of Samsung.com or Samsung shop and enter your imei and upload your receipt from your carrier. Then you will get $200 in like 2-6 weeks. I actually got $235 because I registered when they first sent emails out about pre-orders.
I got an email this morning saying pre orders were ready. When I clicked the link within the email, I followed through with the order and was able to get the $235 instant credit since the email was tied to my reservation. Was able to order myself the new Galaxy Buds+, the 45 watt fast wall charger, and black silicon case. Not a bad deal at all especially with me getting $600 off for my S10+. Said delivery by March 4th, less then 2 weeks away ???
