Nillkin tpu case Huawei P9 - Huawei P9 Accessories

Hi, anyone is using a Nillkin tpu case for Huawei P9?
Who have this case, can make a test please. With the tpu case in, take a picture at night with flash.
With my phone interferes with the flash and makes the photos white.

Hi, i use it (natural transparent) and is very Good

Can you test it in a room dark or at night taking a picture with flash? My cover leaves white blur in photos.

Hi, i test in total black room and i have no blur !

Ok thanks, in amazon with this cover they talk about this problem..I have two covers, transparent and grey and both make the same result, had to put the plastic between lens and flash.

[User Review] Rearth Ringke Slim for Moto G (White)

Case name/model: Rearth Ringke Slim for Moto G (in white)
Case type: Slim, hard plastic 1 piece snap on
Needs/Niche for case: I wanted a temporary non-bulky case for my new Moto G before I decide between the official moto g bumper shell covers (out ~mid jan?) or a more robust solution like Otterbox.
Cost: G~$10 with free shipping + a decent (dry apply) screen protector included (1 count) from Amazon.
Pros:
- Case fits the Moto G like a second skin, very lightweight you barely notice it there.
- Well-made, I noticed some molding seams on the outside (faint) but none on the inside of the case - all smooth.
- All the ports (see photos below) and buttons are exposed clearly and I was able to charge and use headphones without any obstruction.
- There's 1-2? mm of clearance off the surface because of the lip of the case, so your screen isn't touching whatever surface you've put your phone face-down on.
Cons:
- While the case is easy to slide on, it was very difficult for me to take it off when I was a) worried about scratching the phone while doing it and b) worried about snapping some of the plastic off. There's no instructions included as to the proper way to slide it off, there's a video for the same model showing how to take it off from Rearth (must be a common issue) but it's for a different phone with different cutouts in the case.
- 50% of the corners are exposed (probably to allow you to uncase the phone more easily). This is the biggest con for me because in phone drops it's usually corner drops that cause screen shatter.
- It's entirely made out of hard plastic, no softer material or rubberization coating on the inside. However the case is a very snug fit so I doubt the phone would get scratched up from any sliding within the case.
Conclusion: For $10 it's a very well-made, high quality case. It feels durable (plastic doesn't feel like it's going to snap when I'm trying to pry it off) and it looks great. If all you want is scratch protection for the sides and back this will do the job and feel like next to nothing and look beautiful. If you're like me and drop your phone on occasion, you'll probably want to invest in a case that covers the corners more completely.

Thanks for your review, I should hopefully be getting mine soon from the US (dispatched on boxing day to the UK). Its a black one so ill add some pics and a lil review too.
Thanks for the post, i have one being shipped to me too (also in UK)
I went for black, but the white does look cool :good:
After having used it for a few days, I have to say that I really like it, and if I wasn't so accident-prone it would probably be the case I would be using on a daily basis. As it is, it's the case I'll be using until the Moto G official bumper shells come out.
I think you'll be pleased with it, it really is a very nice premium-feeling case.
I got the black version and its basically the same material as the back of the new nexus 5. Its a soft touch plastic that has a real premium feel. Its obviously a premium price at 9.99£ but well worth it IMO. I'll report back with durability testa

Thanks for the review! I have the black one also, but I just ordered a white one because of its colour. After using it, does any colours rub on to the white? i.e does it get dirty quicky?
I agree with the cons of your review. I also have a Rearth Ringke Slim for my Moto G, except mines is black. Although, I find it hard to remove the case and it feels like I have to break the case and/or the back cover to get it off. I find the back cover's lip actually seems to be the reason why it is so hard to remove the case.

I usually carry it in a bag or in my inside coat pocket (the wallet? pocket inside the actual front of a coat), so I haven't seen if anything like denim would transfer. From regular use though it's still pristine, I haven't wiped it down because I don't see fingerprints on it or any visible dirt.
Thanks for your review. I ordered black one today.
Ordered the white version today, will post a review when it comes in.

White Nexus 5 with Black Back Cover

Does anyone own (or has seen) a White Nexus 5 which had it's battery cover replaced by a black one? I'm about to replace ny battery cover (white) and I was considering whether I should get another white one or instead buy a black one. The only thing that is holding me back is that I don't know how the matte back would look against the glossy sides my phone has. If anyone one has any pictures of what it would look like it would be great
Thanks!

I have the opposite. Black front with white back. Looks good IMO
Currently my phone has a black front, glossy sides and a white back (the normal White N5). I went ahead and ordered a black back for it, so I'll post pictures once it arrives. Basically it should look like a black N5 with glossy sides and a white speaker.

All combinations have been tried. There's a thread floating around here somewhere with the screenshots.
My black battery cover just arrived today Just to have something slightly different, I decided to polish the camera lens, making the trim silver instead of black, which I think contrasts well with the all black back. Here are some pictures of the results for those interested :

Nice. Question... it looks like it's a little bumpy/rough along the right side/edge of the lens. Is that an artifact of the polishing or something else? Otherwise I like the accent

Thanks! The lens trim is a bit rough due to wear and tear (I use the phone without a cover so it's pretty much always resting on the lens). Polishing will not make the surface any rougher as all it does is wear of the paint layer. What I suggest though is that you take the lens part out of the phone to polish in order to avoid getting some of the polish inside the phone.

In that case, my attempt will have to wait another 6-8 months till I need to change the battery. Or I have some other reason to replace the back
I have the yellow bumper case, I have had it for the last 6 months and it starting discolor around the edges. But I do enjoy the black on yellow color.

Review of Tudia's Clear TPU Case: The Problem with Transparency

This review only applies to the clear version of the Tudia case. The design and aesthetic issues might not be as problematic with the black, purple and teal versions. I wrote this review specifically for people who might want to show off the back cover of their OnePlus One -- especially the sandstone cover and the upcoming bamboo accessory cover.
* * * * *
Forget the fact that clear cases often turn yellow over time. Even if you don't mind that phenomenon, here's what's wrong with the clear version of Tudia's "Ultra Slim LITE TPU Bumper":
1. The transparent part of the case is exactly where you don't want it: at the top, bottom and corners. This highlights the silver band of the OnePlus One -- the part of the phone that many of us would prefer to conceal.
2. The frosted part of the case is exactly where you don't need it: on the middle, largest and widest area, which obscures the sandstone and custom back covers you might have have wanted to show off. The only reason I wanted a transparent case was to feature the back cover. This case doesn't do that.
If you look at the pictures of the clear case on the Amazon product page, you'll see it's obvious that Tudia never double-checked their design of the prototype with a physically real OnePlus One. None of the details and color of the back of the OPO appear in their graphics of the apparently minimalist design, nor do the stripes of color variation when the cover's used for the black OPO (which is the only version that OnePlus is shipping currently).
3. It makes a 2014 device look like a 1999 Powermac G4. Remember the days when every computer and accessory was ambered in see-through plastic? The transparent plastic at the corners and edges of the case create that same effect.
4. The details of the design conflict with those of the half-exposed OPO, both highlighting and obscuring logos and lines of text. Additionally, the Tudia logo runs sideways vertically beside the horizontal Cyanogen text and logo, which makes the back of your new minimalist phone look like a complicated double exposure.
5. The division between the clear and frosted portions of the case are accentuated by a line of thinner transparent plastic, which segments the OPO into three sections that make it look even more '90s-clunky.
The transparent Tudia case definitely adds more protection than the official hard-shell I bought from OnePlus (since it shipped with my phone). The cutouts all align and the buttons are decent but not great.
However, the official case looks far, far better. In users' pictures, the Diztronic looks better as well. (After I receive my Diztronic, I'll let you know what I think.)
So to sum:
Even if you like transparent cases and don't mind their yellowing over time, avoid the Tudia case. It has other problems and is far less attractive than the Diztronic.
This would have been the better choice for the OnePlus One design-wise: Frosted plastic for the corners and edges, and transparent plastic for the back. But here's why that might not work: The transparent color seems only to be available in a smoother and harder plastic. To make that kind of plastic work for the back of the OnePlus One, it would have to have a molded texture that was grippy enough to hold onto but clear enough to show the back cover of the OPO. The deciding factor would be the difficulty of developing a texture with traction with a plastic that is transparent -- especially on a budget.
(I'll try to add pictures to this review over the weekend, when I'll have access to a camera that isn't part of the OPO in the case I need to photograph.)
Reset time...be nice or get out....
oh, and thread cleaned

Xperia XA Ultra Cases thread!

What sort of case/cases are you gonna get? Are you the type of person who gets more than one case? Lets discuss it here!

That's what I've gotten so far.
I'm also looking for one of those waterproof bag things...since I go out walking/running a lot, and would hate to get caught in the rain without something for it.
Here is the Case On Tpu Case. It fits really good and is medium thickness. I hope Rinke makes a case for this device, best quality cases by far. Also have a Nilkin Qin Case On the way. I'll post some pics when it arrives.
There's some good case's and screen protection on Sonys website for both xa models Inc full coverage screen protection.

Thanks for the pictures. Helps a lot. I ordered a few cases to, I'll post when I get them.
My experience with cases
I've ordered and tried several cases from eBay.
The best is a grey flip case. It fits the phone perfectly and the rubber insert is clear so the white phone looks good inside. It's protected the phone fairly well when I've dropped it. It was $7 from here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Luxury-Flip-Leather-Wallet-Card-Holder-Stand-Case-Cover-For-Sony-Phone-Models-/191988135913 I stuck a small flat magnet inside the credit card slot and pushed it to the bottom edge and the case activates the screen when I flip it open. I like that feature and wish they had positioned the magnet that the case already has properly so the screen sleep feature would just work. I quit carrying a wallet and only carry this case with a credit card and driver's license inside. The only issue I have with the case is when using the back camera flash. The case reflects the flash back into the lens and fogs things out. Also, you can't use this type of case with a selfie stick.
I bought a cheaper case with a canvas dark grey material and it's terrible. The case flip cover is about a half inch too wide. Also the rubber phone holster is black and doesn't fit the holes well. I didn't try to use it to take photos. It was $4 here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Luxury-Book-Flip-Stand-Wallet-PU-Leather-Soft-TPU-Cover-Case-For-Sony-Phone-/131705402325
I got this case for my wife after her first case failed. It's very rugged but the white gets dirty quickly. Also, I had to cut out the power and volume buttons because the rubber was so stiff that the power button would press if you held the side of the case hard (like a selfie stick). With the power button hole cut out we no longer have any problems with the phone screen going off by itself. It was under $4 here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hybrid-Rugged-Armor-Stand-Rubber-Case-Shockproof-Cover-Sony-XPERIA-XA-Ultra-/222294123946?var=&hash=item7955ec9560
And lastly, my wife wanted this case http://www.ebay.com/itm/US-Bing-Diamond-Mirror-PC-Cover-Metal-Aluminum-Bumper-Case-For-Sony-Phones-/162229273604 because of the bling but it blocked the signal when the phone was inside it. Also, she dropped the phone a couple of times and the cover popped open and the phone came bouncing out. I could probably have glued the case together to prevent that but there was nothing I could do to keep it from killing the GSM signal. So while she loved the case for the bling it just doesn't work.

I have tried 3 flip covers already and they all have this same problem, I can take photo without the flash, but with flash it always fogs things out to a certain degree, I don't understand what is so special about this flash, the cutout hole at the back for the camera and flash seems wide enough and I am sure such cutout would work on other phones, but on this XA Ultra the flash is somehow so wide that it will reflect off the case and fog out the whole photo. Taking flash photos without the case will not have such problem.
Anyone find a case that can take flash photos?
Flash Fog
I was able to reduce the flash fog on a white case by marking the insides of the camera/flash cutout with a sharpie black marker. I'm looking for a better solution though. So far even one of the clear cases I have shows the flash fog.

That's it!! That's the solution!! I painted the inside of the cutout black, and no more foggy flash photos!! Thanks!!!
Now if there is a solution to my other problem with this phone..... is there a way to turn off the auto off function when using a flip cover? I happen to find a flip cover case with a window, expecting to see who is calling and the time without flipping it open. It is completely understandable to have the auto off when flip closed if it is a tablet, because you will not use a tablet when flip is closed. However, in a phone, I hope to see who is calling with a window in the flip cover, so that I can determine whether to take the call and how urgent the call is, with this phone I don't have this ability because the phone will stay off as long as the flip is closed, even pressing the on/off button will not turn on the phone.
Besides, I have this problem that my no brand flip cover when fully opened to the back will trigger the magnetic switch and switch off the screen, I don't know if the Sony original flip cover have this problem too?
Hi, I have a found a very nice case for our XAU. It looks nice, great fit, and keeps the power/volume buttons flush so your not accidentally pushing them when holding the phone. It's the Shanbo Tpu case found on EBay for $6. Here are some pics
Edit: all sold out.

Camera vinyl skin or protector?

Does anyone know where I can buy a skin for the camera or a full camera tempered glass, not just the circles?
Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
Here you can find a camera skin
https://dbrand.com/shop/lg-v20-skins
Slickwraps.com has a skin for the camera as well. You can't buy it separate like you can on dbrand.com but after you factor shipping in... You might as well grab the full skin. Slickwraps seems like they are always having a flash sale so you can grab a full skin at a decent price. That and slickwrap has a sticker for the fingerprint sensor that I don't see on dbrand.com.
I got the matte black from slickwraps. What I ended up doing was tracing the camera skin on another sheet of paper. That way I can either cut plastic covers for the camera lenses myself that will fit in or just over the skin if I cut the circle a little larger. Or you can just cut a larger plastic screen the size of the camera skin itself. I know it's not tempered glass protection but it's something and can look pretty clean if you know how to use some scissors. Maybe I can post a photo of how mine looks later.
