Bootloader E975 (Intl.)

How does your bootloader looks like?
I have this question after reviving my phone from a hard-bricking. I wonder if you too have that "Mako" (nexus 4) all over your bootloader?
Please post a photo of your bootloader.

You can't get back from hard brick thus the term hard brick. This mako bootloader is the only way we currently have to unlock bootloader. so it's normal you have it.

Actually, my phone was hard-bricked or perm-bricked. I had to JTAG the phone with the RIFF at some guy, wires shouldering on the mainboard ..etc. I wrote all about it right here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2346193
In the process, my baseband went from 10b to 10d, that is good But I was wondering if your bootloader looks exactly like mine.

hey bro...mine is exactly same as yours...now i want to switch back to ogirinal rom..but it says model number is E960(that is lg nexus 4 mako bootloader)
so m not able to switch back...have you found a solution for this?

Finally iv relocked my bootloader..was an awesome experience ...anyone who wants to remove that mako bootloader..pm me plz..m here to help..i love to

Trouble in rooting procedure
Hello, I am a newbie user of Opp F7A (X9006).
I am currently using this ROM, and having trouble on permanently rooting the device.
I have followed sponymoon's guide by ticking the permission on every app (including root explorer) in security center.
I have flashed the su rar and normal update it, but unfortunately i cant copy the su files on system/xbin to bin directory (i cant mount to R/W therefore i cant change permission or copy any files there)
Beside that problem, I find that this ROM is great so far with new UI, simplified app and better battery life.
Is there any step that i missed?

I have same problem

Was able to install ROM.
I was coming from a normal 2.0.7i beta, and I used TWRP 2.8.5.0 for flashing.
SuperSU working
Will let you know if ever I encounter any bugs.

Was the guest user function removed? Cos I get FCs when I choose Guest mode from security center.
If yes, anyway to have a flashable for that?

How to get LVM ?
After I klick OK under Settings -> General -> More -> Switch partition, my device reboots and starts the recovery (TWRP 2.8.6.0). Then i had rebooted the device, but nothing changed
At the first Post w**.oppoforums.c*m/threads/reference-lvm-storage-user-guide.23440 (can't post links ) is the "setuplvm_find7_FULL_WIPE_10282014.zip" .. can i use this to change to LVM ?

wow, do you even use your phone ?
on my phone the deepsleep with this rom is awesome, but when i use my phone the batterydrain is very high, i think.
the cpu goes everytime up to 2,46Ghz ! even if i just stay on the homescreen .. is there a perfect cpu tool for coloros to reduce the cpu power ? so that it doesn't give all the time the highest cpu power when i only unlock the phone ?

It doesn't have root but you can flash SuperSU, and it works!

that's probably because the app was designed to work with dalvik not art, so i'd guess downloading a newer version for art would work, but then again i'm not so sure.

Most of the apk files I've installed works.
What's the app that you wanted to install? I'll give it a try and see if it works on my phone

Flash other kernel with recovery and flash supersuv19.zip then flash the original kernel in rom zip

titanium backup error in test1 rom
hi there. I'm flash test 1 ROM since few hours ago. everything is working fine including root by SuperSU . only one major problem, I can't restore app using titanium backup.

I haven't flashed Test 2 build, does it have account manager? Where you can change into a guest account and all that. The first build doesn't have it.

it won't flash if you're rooted... sorry to anyone who downloaded, but I forgot to check the md5sum and got a Status 7 when trying to flash so as soon as I figure this out I'll have it uploaded again

No it works the same as ND8.

Sorry guys apparently I never had a good file to begin with. As soon as I do I will post it.

I can confirm that odining Philz and installing superuser Rooted it first try.
Also this can be side loaded adb.
It really runs alot smoother than before the update.
All nd8 mods have worked so far.
Nd8 deodexed Rooted and modded

That's probably why it worked for you, I'm getting a Status 7 error in stock recovery.

Has anyone flashed this on NJ3 boost mobile modem. Or do you have the tar available for the NJ3?

update .
I applied all mods from ND8. the only one that wouldn't work was the Odexed version of the hotspot mod (stuck on samsung screen)
so in turn i used ryans old deodex.zip and deodexed the rom now all works well.
i did switch back to Ktoonz kernel with the settings Ryan has on TW experience rom
im going to ask ktoonz if he can add this new kernel to his tw list of 4.4
So if you deodex after you upgrade. all the ND8 mods work: sound increase, hotspot, custom splash, etc
if you dont deodex than you'll have to use wifi tether or something like that. until someone fixes the odex hotspot
i will say it seems to run smoother and the sound quality is improved alot.

I wanted to go back to stock so I Odin'd back to ND8. I found this thread and thought I'd apply the update right away. When I boot into recovery and choose "apply update from external storage" I get a screen full of garbage. I can't take a picture or screenshot of it, but I'll type out the first several lines:

YouTube sideload adb from qbking77 then use the same technique to sideload the update. It's worth it

I got the NJ2 system.img unpacked. I zipped it up and will share momentarily. IT'S NOT FLASHABLE! Just the system.

but I wiped the system and now I don't have anything to flash... do you know of any roms for the phone? Also, if I select an .img to flash, I only have recovery and bootloader options. no system option to flash...
I made a backup, but after restoring, it still doesn't boot (gets stuck on the message that the bootloader is unlocked and that the phone will reboot in 5 sec, but it never does...)
Sp flash tools give me error code c0060005, but I've only found stock firmware for 5059D on the internet...

Hello all.
I'm looking for direction on how to root my TLC Model A503DL phone.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it is also known as Alcatel model A1X.
This was a free lifeline phone of which is painfully slow & with minimal memory of both types.
Reason for root is to speed up, expand storage and possibilities of using device for much more such as a remote camera or tethering and etcetera for example.

I got stuck in the same situation with the same phone 1x 5059y and I have the stock rom files, I backed them up beforehand, if you need them tell me and I'll post them
