Hello guy!Today i'll help you rooting your LG Optimus G Korean version named F180(S,K,L) Global version may use this (be carefull! i haven't tried yet)

- On your phone,be sure that you have enabled "USB debuging mode"(Seting>System>Developer options), and Unknown source(Seting>System>Security)
- Download and install LG USB DRIVER
- Download this file and unrar it,you'll have "RootOptimusG" folder

- Run "RootOptimusG.bat", chose "y" then hit "Enter"
- Look up to your phone screen,select "Restore my data"
- Have a coffee ultil it completed, check SuperSU icon on the phone screen!

you can see those file in the "stuff" folder :laugh: open "script.sh" by notepad to see which file is ported :good:

Unless it is "original" development, it belongs in Development or General, not Original Development. Guides belong in General. Thread moved. Thanks.

This method should work on most devices running ICS/JB versions 4.0.1 to 4.1.1 inclusive. What is posted in the first post is Bin4ry's script. See here.

Only issue was I had to install superuser from play store. Tibu worked after that. Calls are fine, data etc

Patchrom MIUI from open source based on the official 14.3.A.0.761. Because there are many bugs if we use 4.4.4, we can just use 4.4.2. It contains kernel in the ROM. Therefore, you do not need to flash the kernel again.

Reboot into Recovery.
Make Sure to do a Wipe Data/Factory Reset before Installing the ROM.
Start the Installation. (Install Zip >> Choose Zip for External SDCard).
Switch Off Your Phone (Do Not Reboot).
[COLOR="Red"]DO NOT WIPE AFTER FLASHING!!!![/COLOR]
Select No to Disable Flash Recovery Confirmation.
Reboot and Enjoy.
DO not use other kernels because this will cause the crash of your phone!!

installed, works without problems, it has english language. you need to change the keyboard tho....is is baidu input, it does not have gapps

I haven't used miui for almost a year so i forgot about that. thank you!
Oh and I tried updating to the newest weekly but I got an error 7 (at least i think it was 7) in cwm.
EDIT: Nevermind, did a clean install and it's fixed. I think it was gapps causing the errors

Just tried. It's awesome. Wanted so long for miui. I didn't find any bugs. Is there a chance to get a German language pack?

Issues wid Carbon 4.4.4 Rom
This is the best Rom out there for Xperia Ion. OTG working fine for me. Performance wise, i have customised it to save battery, and yeah it offers lot of options for the same. A big thanks to all the developers who have made this Rom a success.
However, I am facing issues with my mobile network. While the signal is close to full on my Nokia N73 n 6500, signal drops after about every 10-15 mins. Then on it shows no signal.
I have chosen 2G/3G Preferred. Have tried various other settings too. Just doesnt work.
And even when it shows full signal, calls cannot be made or recieved.

are there any bugs????

i want to know that is this carbon rom better and what are the bugs to be faced while using this rom .....????

In thread title it say UB, which is Unlocked Bootloader, means You can't flash this ROM on locked bootloader.

Is there any possibility to add audio submix file into this rom?
(add audio.r_submix.default to the product_packages in the device.mk file.)

Yes, You need to wipe system, data, and cache to flash the ROM. After that flash ROM directly from recovery, no need to flash any kernel.

Bluetooth Problems
I have flashed this ROM 10 days ago. I am experiencing serious Bluetooth Audio stuttering problems. I am using Jabra Clipper.
Any suggestions to fix it please?

Trouble in rooting procedure
Hello, I am a newbie user of Opp F7A (X9006).
I am currently using this ROM, and having trouble on permanently rooting the device.
I have followed sponymoon's guide by ticking the permission on every app (including root explorer) in security center.
I have flashed the su rar and normal update it, but unfortunately i cant copy the su files on system/xbin to bin directory (i cant mount to R/W therefore i cant change permission or copy any files there)
Beside that problem, I find that this ROM is great so far with new UI, simplified app and better battery life.
Is there any step that i missed?

I have same problem

Was able to install ROM.
I was coming from a normal 2.0.7i beta, and I used TWRP 2.8.5.0 for flashing.
SuperSU working
Will let you know if ever I encounter any bugs.

Was the guest user function removed? Cos I get FCs when I choose Guest mode from security center.
If yes, anyway to have a flashable for that?

How to get LVM ?
After I klick OK under Settings -> General -> More -> Switch partition, my device reboots and starts the recovery (TWRP 2.8.6.0). Then i had rebooted the device, but nothing changed
At the first Post w**.oppoforums.c*m/threads/reference-lvm-storage-user-guide.23440 (can't post links ) is the "setuplvm_find7_FULL_WIPE_10282014.zip" .. can i use this to change to LVM ?

wow, do you even use your phone ?
on my phone the deepsleep with this rom is awesome, but when i use my phone the batterydrain is very high, i think.
the cpu goes everytime up to 2,46Ghz ! even if i just stay on the homescreen .. is there a perfect cpu tool for coloros to reduce the cpu power ? so that it doesn't give all the time the highest cpu power when i only unlock the phone ?

the other storage (internal ) 4.47 giga is full all the time
i make factory reset and not cleared i guess it from the previous rooting and roms something like this
