Help! constant reboots and very fast battery drain even when completely stock - Huawei Watch

I just washed my watch with tap water to clean it up. but after i dried it up, the watch keeps rebooting every few minutes and becomes quite warm.
I even restored it back to lollipop but same thing happens. also uninstalled all 3rd party apps from my phone.
did washing it cause the problem? i read here somewhere that they even dive their watch on a swimming pool with no problems.
please help me troubleshoot this. I won't be able to send this to a service center since I work in a remote location. :crying::crying:

I'm on same issue since two days ago! It seems hardware fails, shall we use the waranty claim procces?

i don't know if it helps but I got mine back to normal again.
first, I just let it sit in the sun for about 30 minutes with its face down. do not put the lcd up facing the sun.
the watch will heat up obviously so let it cool down for a while.
after that, my watch started to last longer.

When charging, screen brightness bug

Hello.
I have the galaxy about ten days. The first day I put the milestone 4, and from that day I have this fantastic rom.
I see only two faults that happen.
There are times I have found the phone with the flash on, and the only way to stop it is restarting the phone.
The other fault is that sometimes when loading the phone, the screen stays on half brightness. As if he had fallen almost to the minimum brightness and the screen on while charging.
What can be?
Have never had this issue with the stock ROM...

[Q] dark grey shade on the screen, please help

My Note 10.1 2014 screen shows grey/black shades like this on the screen, it appears on any part of screen, and when I restart it, this happens ---
I press main button the screen won't show anything. But tablet itself seems to be fully functional in anything else. I still can touch-unlock it, do stuff and hear responding sounds. But the screen is down.
I have attached the images
However I found a fix for this which involved reinserting of some back cables, I did that , it worked but only temporarily , then I tried opening the device myself to do that 'temporary' fix again, but stupid me broke the screen, :crying: I took it to sammy service and they put a new screen on it, but the problem of shading still remains, but very less (only on the lower right corner) , and this time it goes away sometimes on its own
I realised that when I use the tablet for a long time, (like watch movies etc) and then leave it for a few minutes, it gets that shade on its own when i start using it again,
I gave it again to sammy as the new screen is under warranty, they say they are gonna change the lcd , what can be the reason guys? Please help
And what is this problem even called? Are these dead pixels? Screen burn in, bleeding , what ?< I am so confused
It looks like one of the lcd backlight led died.

thanks but what is causing this? and it happens to any part of my screen, except the middle area, they orignate from any corner
If it appears on different places of the screen that means backlight driver circuit fault but if it s same place everytime then Led is the problem.

thanks, I gave it back to them, I hope it gets resolved now, they are saying its because of the pressure on the screen, and I surely didnt apply any pressure
I highly double that it is related to applied pressure since you dont have any complaints about glass cracks, digitizer issues or spen issues.

Watch face burn in

Hello all, I haven't seen this problem posted elsewhere, but I've experienced burn in problem with my Huawei watch. I've sent an email to Huawei requesting warranty repair/replacement. As some of you may recall when the watch first came out and their were issues with the "red tint" and battery life, Huawei extended the warranty on the watch to 2 years. So, I am expecting that they will honor this. Anyone else know of a problem like this or have an occassion to ask Huawei to honor that 2 year warranty?
Pro tip: warranty on any electronic device is 2 years in Europe.
Thanks, I am in the US, so I guess that doesn't help me. We'll see what Huawei says.

Yikes. You have convinced me that always on display was a bad idea.
Hope you get it replaced.

Well, I have my Hwatch since February with always on display turned on and there is no burn in whatsoever.
Might be an issue with his particular piece.

Indeed. I got my HWatch in February too and I have been using the display turned on always(when on the wrist) and have not experienced any burn in. The thing is that I made sure not to fidle with the screen wake time which is by default 5 seconds(probably for good reason) and I also made sure that every watchface that I use has Burn In Protection.
If you followed the same guidelines, then the only alternative would be that you ended up with a faulty device from the start.

Did you enable that in developer options? How do you know if any particular watchface has that protection?

You can read about it in the description of the watchface(Google Play or watchface client on the phone if it is a customizable one), you can also see if the watchface has shifted whilst glancing at your watch in ambient mode and waking it up by touching/press power button(it will align with the normal watchface) or better yet: leave your watch on the table on one side and film it with timelapse for a couple of minutes with your phone while having the phone in a fixed position aka not in your hand-you will see the watchface shifting.
Hope this info helps
P. S. : I don't think the the feature in developer mode actually works cuz it never stays activated for me.

Thanks so much. Just noticed that shift you said when coming out of ambient mode and I didn't know what it was. Just acquired this watch coming from a Gear s2 and so far I am loving it. Thanks for the info!

Mine just did the same thing overnight, tried factory resetting and flashing a stock image. Going to RMA mine.
Did you do like Juliogo suggested? Go to settings > about > build number. Tap on build number a bunch to enable Developer Option. Go back to settings, now at the bottom is Developer Options. Click that then the 7th option is Wear Developer Option. 3rd option down is "Force display burn-in protection". Enable that. Good luck.

Will this harm watch? Why was it disabled to begin with?
Shatter their dreams! and haunt their nightmares !
So it's really for watches with OLED screens. LCD doesn't really have the burn in issue. What it does if very slightly move the watch face around so the number lines are always in the same place. See a timelapse video here:

Spen waterproof?

I went to the pool this Sunday and ever since my spen has been misbehaving a lot. I'm wondering if it got messed up. Guys, what are your experiences after being under water
Enviado desde mi SM-N950U mediante Tapatalk
Ok, after 2 weeks of that now my spen now works again. Now I know dont I wont let the spen on phone when going to water
Enviado desde mi SM-N950U mediante Tapatalk
I tested the waterproof claims of my note 8...and i dont think id want to do it again, simply because I got the dreaded " moisture in USB port" warning and it wouldn't go away effectively nullifying charging, use of usb accessories ..I had to look for guides to correct it ( its easy once you have the guide).
So now its all back to normal but i wont be testing it again in a hurry.

S20 Plus Exy | Slow FP after waking up device

Anyone else having this issue?
When waking the device up the FP or the screen in general is unresponsive for some seconds. Bit as far as i can see double tapping the screen somehow makes the device respond faster
the same thing happens to me but it happens when the phone warms up on cooling it returns to normal
Enviado desde mi SM-G985F mediante Tapatalk
For me It looks like happening when the battery is low, very bad finger print sensor or software, I came form the Mi9 that is much better than this one. Im a little upset of the camera and the fp.
