Initially the screen would not display anything, it would just stay blank, but the buttons would light up indicating the power was OK. I disconnected and reconnected the car battery which fixed the display however the touchscreen no longer works and nor do the touch sensitive buttons. I reflashed the ROM and MCU through booting into recovery and it still doesn't work.
Is it a hardware defect or is the something else I can try?
It's a JY RK3066 unit (Joyous J-3812-Y / Pumpkin JY-C0223 to be more precise).

After countless of hours diagnosis and doing trial and error in order to rectify the faulty touchscreen issue where a certain part of the touchscreen area is not working. My solution for this problem is by putting a piece of paper or hard cardboard underneath the digitizer ribbon cable just after the connector.(refer the circle part in the picture below)

It is probably the one marked by a red circle.
The other screen cable (the blue circle on the left) is only responsible for the display itself and not the touch panel.
my little sister's lg g3 was dropped and shattered today. Her screen does not respond to touch but when I boot it up after a bit a message pops up. Display may be damaged, how does it know that the display is damaged is there a sensor or is it able to tell the difference in touch activity in the display?

Hello. I'm trying my luck here.
I have a problem. I have a Wondefoo px5 navigation and since I have it, sometimes when I turn it on the music starts at maximum even if the volume is at minimum.
I tried to update it to Android with the thought that Android has bugs.
After trying that update, I get a red error.
Please help me if you know.
If you know how to solve the problem with the bug with the maximum volume (I have to restart it every time) and then it recovers, and with this error ...

Hi Guys, it's been a while since i have started seeing that white patch on my phone's display. Sometimes it goes all the way up and covers about 3/4 of screen. But here's a thing, when i give a lil bit heat to display (with heatgun, blower or whatever) these lines and patches just disappear. Is this a hardware issue or something else? Please help
