Bluetooth controller connected, but no input - Pixel C Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all, so I'm trying to use a Dualshock 4 as an input device via bluetooth. It connects fine, but there's absolutely no input - a whole lot of nothing happens when pressing any buttons. The controller works fine when connected to my Moto X Play, but for some reason the Pixel ain't happy with it. Anyone else experienced this before and have any solution?
Cheers!

Getting Bluetooth Audio to autoconnect.

I have used my SGS3 for a while now with the built-in bluetooth phone connection in my car. The first time I used it I had to go through the pairing process, ever since then it automatically connects as soon as I turn on the car. I don't have to touch anything, as long as I have bluetooth turned on it connects.
So, I added a Logitech bluetooth audio receiver to the car http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Speaker-Bluetooth-980-000540/dp/B004VM1T5S
This unit paired with the phone fine, and remembers the pairing. Only problem is every time I turn it on, I have to go to the bluetooth menu on the phone and tap the entry for the logitech adapter to get it to connect. It's a few more steps that I'd like to make this work.
Can anyone suggest a way to my phone to auto connect this pairing?
I know it's uncool to bump your own post, but really........nobody?
Really unsure but try deleting the device from your phone reboot and pair again. All I can think of.

I have the same problem and I have not been able to solve the problem. I am using a Blackberry Bluetooth Stereo Gateway. It would auto connect just fin to my Evo 4G. It will not auto connect on the SIII. If I look at the Bluetooth settings I will see it briefly show Connecting before dropping off when I power up the gateway. It has been this way since I got the SIII. I have only tried the stock ROMs. I am thinking about trying an AOSP ROM to see if it makes a difference.

[Q] Wired PS3 Controller help on emulators

First off I apologize if this is in the wrong section. I hope some one on here can help me, though, with the problem I am having. I have my PS3 controller connected to my Note 2 via micro usb to mini usb connector(The one included with The Gameklip). I bought it mainly for emulators, but I am having a problem setting up anything with the right analog stick(RS)
FPse(playstation emulator)- In button mapping, I can set all the buttons, including the LS, but nothing registers with any direction on the RS. The R3 button works but that is all.
n64oid(Nintendo 64 emulator-also tried MegaN64 same result). Pretty much the same deal with FPse. I wanted to set the C-buttons to the right analog but no dice. Also another problem arose. Both D-pad and the Left analog share button mappings, and I can't seem to separate them. Anyway to fix this?
I tried Dead Trigger, GTA III, and Shadowgun and the right analog worked perfectly fine, so I know it's not the controller. I've looked in countless topics on here and other forums but most of the solutions involve the Six axis app which only works with the controller connected via bluetooth-root required, but not connected directly, like I have.
Has anyone been able to get their right analog stick working in any emulators? Thank you for your time, and thanks in advance.
Bump. I also wanted to mention that while the controller is plugged all 4 of the lights on the ps3 controller are lit up and slowly blinking. Not sure why it just doesnt have the "player 1" light on
Bump. This problem has been plaguing me on multiple devices.
Having same problem, just need to find a 64 em that allows custom control mapping maybe?

[Q] SM-T310 and gamepad Logitech F510

Hello!
Does anyone tried to connect gamepad to 8" version?
I have Logitech F510, which works fine on Windows and it determines on tablet. I added kl file with proper VID and PID to /system/usr/keylayout but it still doesn't work, there's no keypresses at all, not in games, not in Gamepad Tester.
Any ideas how to solve it?
I tried this gamepad on Sony Xpera U, but the phone says that device need to much power so it just disconnects it. But when connected to tabled, device have power because vibration works fine.

[Q] Xbox 360 controller with OTG cable not working correctly

Hi, I've got a V500 which I installed infecteds cm11 build, I've since bought an OTG cable and tried to plug in my 360 controller, but I'm having some issues, I downloaded a gamepad testing app and it seems like the button presses are registering, but it's not registering the releases. Is anyone else having this issue or could it just be my cable/controller/tablet?
I just tried with a brand new wireless 360 controller with the adapter and with that controller only the right bumper sticks. This seems like a really strange issue. Is there anyway I can find out what's causing it?
Hi chris
Nice to see I'm not alone with this issue as well.
As far as I've tested, whenever we press the A,B,X,Y,R1,L1 buttons they don't register the releases.
I've tried many different things, such as changing the keyboard layout for the controllers, and even making my own. Not successful though.
Well, I've managed to "bypass" this problem by configuring the gamepad keys on the games (the ones that we can configure, of course) to don't use these buttons I listed.
I changed the A,B,X,Y to the right analog stick, and the R1,L1 buttons to the R2,L2 Triggers (which are analogic).
Then the controller may work flawlessly.
Nice to know I'm not the only one to experience this issue. Weirdly I can use my 360 controller to navigate around the android interface, but struggle to get it to do anything when it comes to using it in game.
has anyone managed to get this to work?
I've tried the same cable with the same pad on my nexus 5 and it works perfectly, so there is something wrong with the USB driver.
All I want to do is play ps1 games on my tablet.

Anyone try out a ps4 controller via bluetooth yet?

Trying to pair a PS4 controller through Bluetooth and it's not working on my note 10 plus. It pairs fine but the phone seems to receive no input from it. Trying to unpair the controller hangs and never finished disconnecting. If I turn off the controller, the phone still thinks it's connected. Turning off Bluetooth takes a minute or so as well.
It works perfectly fine on my wife's s10 plus, and after it failed to work on my note 10 I tried pairing it with my note 8 for the first time and it also worked perfectly. I was really looking forward to using Samsung Dex with my living room TV and the PS4 controller to play emulated games.
Hoping this is a software issue that can be fixed and not a bug with the Bluetooth radio on my phone. My gear fit 2 paired fine and works great as far as I can tell. My headphones work fine through bluetooth and so does the bluetooth/aux adapter in my car. So it leads me to believe it could be software issues. The controller works fine on everything else.
I checked for updates and there was an Android update from Verizon but it did not fix the issue.
Also the controller works if I hook it up to USB via the USB C adapter included with the phone but the input is all wonky. Shoulder buttons are start and select, up is triangle, etc. I know there's ways to alter the input to fix that but it works perfectly by default on bluetooth on my other two Samsung phones.
