You'll need to call O2 and get an unlock code from them. You'll most likely have to pay for it. If you're in the UK, most small shopping centres have mobile fone kiosks where this can be done for a small fee.

I doubt it. O2 are not the most tech friendly. Search their site, you may find something...

No, you need S-OFF, and that is not available for One X.

Don't be too sad, it only costs a few quid and takes a few hours, tops.
Unless you're one of the unlucky few that it doesn't work for, but cross that bridge if it happens.

There are a small number of operators for which it doesn't work. It's a very small chance, and from what I hear, getting a refund from a reputable SIM unlock code provider is painless.
Since 24 of August of 2012 in México a new statement was published, in this statement said that any phone purchased in prepaid mode or with a contract ended can be unlocked.
I suggest to all my countrymen go to your carrier and require unlocking your phone. This must be totally free.
Great! Let's spread the info.

You'd do well to investigate before asking. This isn't Google, you know.

Not my case, but in Mexico, it's pretty common for people to get them prepaid, it's hella more expensive, but it's certainly an option. And knowing the carriers in Mexico, they're probably locked in any way they can be possibly locked.
Hi,
I had to send my p6 back to the service centre because the wlan drops the front camera does not work and a gps does not get fix just after restart.
I phoned them and I had to pay £7 to send the phone even I have manufactuer warranty on it.
This is so ....
Cannot find words...
My friend sent his lg and that was free.
I chose wrong company...

I wish the best of luck to you in getting your phone fixed.
And yes, its not fair that you have to pay for your phone since you have warranty.
Thank you indeed.
I do not have to say I am disappointed...

Did you root your device? This may void yr warranty.
I think by law you must/have to take the device back to the place you brought it from. And they take care for the transportation to the service. Sending it by courier is special service, and is not covered by the seller. Unless he is a giant like LG, which Huawei is not outside China. And the seller most likely is not Huawei itself, but some middleman ?
Where did you buy from phone from, and where did you friend get his LG ?
I have huawei 3 days service. They'll pick my device up for free and deliver it back to me in 3 days.

Oppo find 7 x9077 from China
Hi!
I travel often to China and I thing to buy Oppo find 7 (x9077). He is available there.
Does anyone know - is it possible to have some problems with SIM cards, using Oppo here in Europe?
I asked chinese - in Oppo China central - they said - yes he will work if there is a same GSM standarts. I said - yes, they are same like in tech specs for this phone. I asked - what if I put European SIM card - answer was - we don`t know!! In Oppo China central office !!!
After than, I call to few chinese resellers - some of them said - yes, you can buy and there is no problem to use in Europe.
But some of them said - noooo, he is locked for China and you will have problems with european SIM card.
Does anyone have some info using Oppo from China in Europe?
Thanks!
You won't have any problem with the sim card itself, but you probably won't be able to use anything else than the GSM function of the phone while outside of China.
EDIT: Actuallly, you may be able to use 4G since data with LTE band B3 is supported outside of China.
Can't say if Globul uses this frequency band.
