Hello everybody!
last week, i was going to wipe all data on my phone ( stock android 4.2.2 ). I had TWRP. I started to go to recovery. The because i was in hesitation to lose my data on sd card, i unmounted sdcard first, then i wipe all with that recovery. After finishing that , my phone was stucked on logo. Then i find a stock recovery in zip package, i installed it by Twrp. Now i have stock recovery which vibrates all the time and never mounts sd card.nothing works in recovery except power button. Also when i connect it in fastboot mode drivers are unknown,
Device id:
USB\VID_18D1&PID_D00D\6&36BB658B&0&1
From the moment i turn on the phone it begins to vibrate. Sd card can not be mount in recovery to force update.

Hello!
I have a SGH-T889V Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I've had it rooted and running custom ROMs for more than 6 months, and I've never had an issue until now. I've tried flashing CM, pacman, and omnirom. All of them worked just fine (loaded ROM onto external SD, booted into recovery mode, factory reset, flashed ROM, flashed gapps, reboot phone and everything was peachy). I use Rom manager.
Yesterday, I tried flashing an update to omnirom (the 11/17 update) the same way as before. I got an error message, telling me the update failed. So I tried to reboot my phone again, but it told me that I had lost root access, and asked me if I wanted to fix that. When I picked yes, it went back to the Samsung load screen, and then the recovery screen appeared again. When I tried to "reboot phone now", it just flashed the samsung logo and then back to the recovery screen.
I tried loading the stock rom back on the eternal sd. That didn't work. Basically, when I took the external sd card out and stuck it in my computer, it told me that I had to format it to use it. It gave me exfat and ntfs as the write options. I tried it both ways, but neither of them were registering when i stuck the external sd back onto my phone and tried to mount it, so I can't flash anything from my external sd. To get my phone to register the external sd, I have to format it through rom manager / recovery screen. That works, and after that, my phone registers the SD card, but obviously I still can't flash anything off the external sd once I've formatted it on the phone.
I tried using the toolkit posted in the android development section to load the stock rom. I tried sideloading and also pushing the file to the phone. Both times, I got a messaging saying that it was waiting for USB debugging to be enabled. As far as I know, I can't do that from the recovery mode of ROM manager. So no dice there.
Essentially, I've softbricked my phone. Whenever i boot it up, it goes straight to recovery mode (and I only hold down the power button, not the typical power + home key + volume up key to bring up recovery). I can't flash the stock rom back on the phone, since my external sd does not register after i format it on my computer. When I try to plug my phone into my pc to load stuff on there directly, I can see it registers as MGH, but it does not show up in Windows Explorer to allow me to put any files on there. When I select "reboot phone now" in recovery, it shows the Samsung logo screen briefly before going back to the recovery screen.
I'm really stuck Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do. please?
Have you tried ODIN to flash stock image back on device? Another thing u could try is use another microsd card and format it as FAT32, load your ROM on there via PC and then flash whatever.

So I have Odin up and running, I have the stock rom and it's been converted to a TAR file. However, I can't get Odin to work properly because it does not register that my phone is connected to my PC (presumably it should show up in one of the rectangles at the top of Odin once I plug my phone into my laptop via USB). Since my pc (and thus odin) does not detect my phone, I can't flash anything onto it
At this point, I have the appropriate stock roms, I have odin, and my phone still boots up to the recovery screen (with rom manager), but I can't manage to get it connected to my computer, though I have the Samsung drivers installed and working (up until i softbricked my phone).
ETA: google is my friend! Found clear instructions on using odin to flash the stock rom, and yes, it worked. Thanks!!
Google is everyone's friend and I'm glad you figured it out.

So i formatted my internal storage before a fresh install, which has sent my phone into a bootloop. I've pulled my battery and manually tried to boot into twrp and the blue "TWRP" screen comes up for about 3 seconds and then i'm back to bootlooping. I have the mjb bootloader or I would odin back to stock. download mode does work, and i tried to reflash my recovery which did pass via odin, but I get the same results. Any help would be great
Hello everyone,
I got my AT&T HTC M9 yesterday with 1.32.502.9. I unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP successfully. I tried Installing Android Revolution 4.1 and didn't noticed the installation failed. When I restarted the phone it got stuck on the HTC logo. Someone after messing with the phone I ended up loosing TWRP and I'm back to the stock recovery with only these options:
reboot system now
apply updates from ADB
wipe data/fatory reset
wipe cache partition
reboot to bootloader
power down
view recovery logs
apply from phone storage
apply from sd card
My phone is stuck at the logo screen and I cannot sideload or flash anything from the SD memory card or phone storage. My phone gives me an error when I try to flash from the SD card and my computer now does not detect my M9 (all drivers were installed previously as well as the SDK)
I don't want to do anything else yet because I'm afraid I will make things worse. Could any body advice me on how to fix my phone?
Thank you!
I was able to fix it.

You have to switch to the download mode on your M9 and use the fastboot command to flash a custom recovery (TWRP2050 worked for me). Make sure your SDK is up to date and you download and install all the HTC drivers for the M9.
This might help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-m9/general/guide-root-install-twrp-htc-one-m9-t3061133

Shut the phone off, wait 10 seconds then hold volume down and start button. After a few seconds, it wil vibrate, release the buttons and it should start in donwload mode (black background).

Turn on you phone and wait about 10 seconds after seeing the HTC logo. Hold down the volume up button and power button for a few seconds until the phone vibrates, as soon as that happens switch to the volume down button and power button that should put the phone in "download mode." Connect your phone to your PC. On your command prompt you can type "fastboot devices" to check and make sure your phone is good to go. After that, you should be able to flash TWRP which in turn would allow you to flash a custom rom and fix your phone.

I don`t have m9 now but if you do this solution, maybe your phone boot up again ( this solution works on m8 )
I don`t think your phone bricked or damaged memory
you can do this solution, maybe your phone fixed !
1- charge your phone then update the htc usb driver and adb tools
2- then boot to the bootloader and flash the latest twrp recovery again ( don`t forgot do erase cache)
3- download other rom like viper rom then copy it on the flash memory ( to install rom with otg cable and flash memory)
4-do full wipe ( internal and external memory - system - cache - dalvik cache)
5- install rom from flash memory and do full wipe again in aroma installer
6- then restart your phone and wait to phone boot up again
7- if don`t boot up,go to the bootloader and flash boot.img from rom ( you should extract rom to see it )
after all you can s-off your phone if you like
good work:good:

Thanks for replying but I was able to fix my phone a few hours after. Those are the right steps but you're missing some details. HTC has now changed things a bit and added the "download mode." Flashing in bootloader does not work any more.
Glad your all sorted !
Me 2 help !!!!

Hello, thank you for reading my thread I am thrilled to hear some great solutions !
Let me go ahead and share some back story to how I got where I am at.
1. I rooted, unlocked bootloader and installed twrpv20.img
2. My phone has been on the stock rom rooted with an unlocked bootloader since August 2015.
3. Reading around I found that there is CM 13 and I loved the CM builds on my HTC One m7. I decided I would download it and flash the rom through TWRP.
THIS IS WHERE I SCREWED UP(I think)
4. I cleared my cache, davik and data. Proceeded to install CM13 hima nightly 2/29/16 rom. The install failed.
5. Whatever reasoning I was thinking, I decided that maybe why this did not install is because of the age of twrpv20, I would flash twrpv20 recovery to the current CM nightly recovery that was with the CM13 rom.
6. I proceeded to attempting to flash the CM13 Rom from my SD Card... but wait... my SD card was not there anymore, I could not find the file system. I then proceed to plug my sd card into my computer and it was there...
7. I booted into my regular stock 5.1 android HTC one rom and proceeded my day.
8. Through my day I found out that my phone storage was 'unavailble' and my sd card storage was unavailable.
9. So my storage(s) became corrupted somehow.
10. I decided that it would be best if I attempted to revert through adb fastboot to TWRP and either reinstalling stock or attempt CM13 again on a more updated twrp3.0.0.2-hima.img
11. I successfully flashed it on my computer, yet on the phone it was unable to boot into recovery mode.
<span class="EmojiInput mj232" title="Black Diamond Suit "></span>This is where I am at now.
<span class="EmojiInput mj232" title="Black Diamond Suit ♦"></span>I have a 'google play services not running' error
<span class="EmojiInput mj232" title="Black Diamond Suit ::diamonds::"></span>my storage is 'corrupted' (in PC it is displayed as 'generic hierarchy' and I cannot view it.
<span class="EmojiInput mj232" title="Black Diamond Suit ::diamonds::"></span>In the phones photos/file explorer/setting-storage it shows as null/empty/unavailable
My questions are:
• How do I recover my recovery mode?
• How do I flash to CM13 successfully after installing ______ recovery?
Note: Ideas I have thought of from reading other topics as well as some random youtube videos is factory reset on the phone(complete wipe).
Another idea was to format the internal storage of the phone from my PC(sounds like a terrible idea).
The best idea, I do not know how to do, is somehow format my internal storage from my phone in download mode from ADB.
Best regards, Insan3
Try flashing twrp 2.9.0.1.
Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
Agreed, you need an up-to-date version of twrp. Also, what firmware are you on? I don't think CM13 will boot on anything but MM firmware.
So I figured out what happened. When I was in the initial TWRPv20.img recovery, fiddling around with the buttons in there I hit mount USB storage(note this unmounts your internal storage).
Okay so what I did to fix this(Shout out to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-vf5eHV3_s - Team Nocturnal)
I followed the instructions of the video(to an extent)
Booted into download mode - adb reboot download
Fastboot flash recovery (Path\:HIMA_UHL_Stock_Recovery_1.32.401.8)
In the phone I booted to bootloader -> recovery -> format/wipe data -> reboot to bootloader -> reboot to download
Fastboot flash recovery Path\:twrp-2.8.5.0-hima.img
From there: -> booted into bootloader - > booted into recovery - > successfully booted into TWRP 2.8.5.0
Selected "Mount"
Checked the 'Mount' for internal storage.
For the SD card I plugged the SD card via USB reader and used 'Scan and fix' option my PC prompted me with.
While trying to flash a ROM , I formatted the system partition through TWRP and accidentally rebooted the phone. I was running MIUI 7 in the phone previously. I have TWRP backup of system and boot but the phone is stuck at bootlogo and power button volume down combo fires factory mode. I guess I deleted both the recovery and the OS. Phone is getting charged , as the battery indicator is displayed when plugged. Is there anyway to recover my A1?
Sorry if the question is a repeat. Any help would be appreciated.

yo man,
first of all for getting into recovery mode is ; power off your device > wait few seconds > then press power + volume up button, there you go.
then, if youve wiped your device's system partitions via twrp , nothin to worry, just download any rom, put it to your sd card, reboot recovery, wipe everything except sd card, choose downloaded zip to flash, swipe to confirm, once the flashing rom completes reboot your device. :good:
